Seems very “of the moment.” I’m concerned that Eerie looks a bit patchy, but it might wear better than it swatches. I don’t own anything by Linda Hallberg; I was once fairly interested in the Enchanted Secrets palette, but … I’ve moved on.
FWIW, I have 2 LH palettes – enchanted secrets and metallic mysteries II. They do go on beautifully….and then crease, fade, and disappear v-e-r-y quickly on my eyes! I’ve tried different primers, setting sprays, glitter glue – her eye palettes just don’t work on me.
Good to know — I guess I don’t feel bad about losing interest.
I’m super curious about this palette. Love the colors but it’s getting mixed reviews. And looking at the swatches Eerie and Illusion look patchy.
Wow for the price, Eerie is truly unacceptable. Abstract is quite sheer and Illusion is just a collection of separate glitter particles. The only two shades that swatched beautifully are Phantom and Unknown. This better perform on the eye differently than it swatches, otherwise this will be a proof of which youtubers are lying through their teeth.
I was thinking on this but the shipping combined with the palette was too much. I considered beauty bay but saw Angelika’s review and realized I have a few dupes in my creepy cute palette and Juvias place Dolce palette.
I’m glad these swatches not too impressive especially that blue!
Your Eerie vs Mel Thompson’s are world’s apart, and her pan of Occult was the patchy one! And yet, I’m still interested in seeing how well (or not so well) it works in practice.
A bright, colourful palette for your spring/summer. The shades are very on trend at the moment and the swatches look quite promising.
This is soooooo pretty! I’ve been wanting to try something from Linda Hallberg for a while…This might end up being my first purchase. And a few of the Mood Crayons lol
Very lovely, and perfect for those of us who have deep set eyes and like lighter colors. I was cruising the pencils, but thought summer would not be the best time to ship them overseas. Can I wait until Sept-Oct? Love!!!
It’s kindof an interesting color story, but I can’t support Linda Hallberg anymore. Not since she called herself an “influencer” (a technically true but distasteful label, imho.)
I like Occult and Phantom, but not enough shade to justify the palette. I will be checking out the dupes.
I was interested till I saw that swatch of Eerie. Unless it performs on the eyes a lot better than it swatches, I’m out. Really, I can probably dupe everything, but I’m curious to try LH’s stuff.
I’ve watched several reviews and it seems Dim and Faint (first two) ruined the palette. “Champagne” shimmer is code for “plain shimmer”, unfortunately. And Occult (deep purple) performs typical of this shade range. I was all the way here for this buttt…
I like the packaging, but I’m not interested in the individual colors or the color story as a whole. While I’d love to purchase some Linda Hallberg cosmetics at some point, the price is a tough one for me.
I own this palette, it is truly beautiful, the mattes blend very easily no patchiness whatsoever. Except for occult that is a little harder to blend but workable. No powderiness. There are a few different formulas in the shimmers, dim is a luminous satin, faint more like a wet looking topcoat, abstract is so incredibly complex such a beauty on top of a blue, purple or black base and illusion is a very easy silver glitter but no fallout (on me at least) and opaque. If you love wearing colors phantom, unknown and astract are stunning.
