Le Metier de Beaute Bordeaux Eyeshadow
Le Metier de Beaute Bordeaux Eyeshadow
Le Metier de Beaute Bordeaux Eyeshadow ($30.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a burgundy brown with warm, red-orange undertones and a metallic sheen. It’s richly pigmented with a very soft, silky-smooth texture that applies beautifully on the skin. It just glides on and melts into the skin. The color payoff (which was excellent!) was the same whether I used it dry or wet. Though pricey, each pan contains nearly double the amount that the average eyeshadow has.
It reminded me a bit of Chanel Ebloui, but this is a much smoother, refined finish in comparison. Initially, I thought it was going to be like MAC Cranberry, but it’s much, much browner. It is also browner and less red compared to Urban Decay Gash. It’s also redder and less brown compared to MAC Antiqued.

What a beautiful rich color!
These are surprisingly and incredibly true colors. Great color payoff and blend beautifully. One of my favorite brands aside from Armani.
Ooh, such a vibrant burgundy! I will have to eat canned soup for a month if I buy this! LOL.
That is pretty! I wasn’t too impressed with the pic of it in the pan but it is gorgeous! on the skin. 🙂
What a beautiful color!
This is my kinda shade! 🙂 Might it be similar to Chocolate Brown Pigment?
Love such pigmented eyeshadows! The shade is also cool 🙂
This is so pretty!
Christine,
I think you might be aware as the images have stopped showing up, but singaporemakeup.com steals all of your content. Luckily you have stopped the direct linking, but they still have all of your writings up. It really annoys me to see such theft.
Beautiful and complex! I might have to look at the other shades in the line, haha!
I think it would be close to Mac glamour check! from the starflash collection, i have antiqued from mac and glamour check is more pigmented and brown so would probebly be a very good dupe 🙂
I feel like if you put down twinks or glamour check first, and then pat on star violet on top it might be a good dupe! (all mac shadows)
This is such a lovely shade. WANT!
looks like a my kind of color!
Beautiful. But doesn’t it look like MAC Spectacle of Yourself?
Oh my god… you can barely tell a difference from dry to wet! Love this!
This looks like Spectacle of Yourself (from Peacocky), but maybe with a little more red/plum.
That’s what I thought too.
A bit too red-toned for me (coppers always look weird on me, which is weird because straight reds don’t). I’m really impressed by it though.
all the le metier products are amazing. truly not like anything else i have used in my long makeup filled life.
How about “MAC Spectacle of Yourself Mega Metal Eyeshadow”?? I think its similar!
I love how it applies the same wet and dry. That is what an eyeshadow should be!
I instantly thought what a dupeable color also. But now after seeing the swatches it looks more unique than just in the container. Beautiful color for fall!
do you think it looks like the purple in the nars Cheyenne eyeshadow duo?
Wow! pretty indeed….a great dupe for this I think would be Stila Twig. They seem very similar.
