Lancome Lip Lover for Spring 2014

This year, Lancôme gives women a whole new way to show lips some amour. For the first time, get three luxurious, lip perfecting benefits in one—the hydration of a balm, the vivid shine of a gloss, and the intense color of a lipstick—with Lancôme’s newest addition, Lip Lover. This revolutionary formula drenches lips in eight hours of moisture, smoothes fine lines, and adds an eye-catching dose of shimmering color in 18 saturated shades.

First, a balmy base delivers eight hours of lip softening moisture. Then, a smoothing layer of dewy shine reduces the look of lines and leaves lips looking smooth and flawless. Finally, saturated pigments infuse lips with intense, high-impact color for lips that will leave your lips saying je t’aime.

Very modest claims as usual. I doubt a product can provide a lot of shimmer and hide fine lines at the same time! The shades look really nice though

Im skeptical when they start calling a lip gloss “revolutionary”. Ill wait tip I read your reviews! I will tell you that I broke down and purchased one of LM lip glaces in new spring color “,Daquiri” yesterday, and am loving it!

I’m in love with this formula. Between the VIB Rouge pre-sale and Nordstrom, I’ve picked up 9 shades. It really is all that- I’m not a gloss lover, but this is my new favorite formula.

Hate to say it, but seems to look like just a money grab. I love their glosses in love, but don’t feel like these would do much better or different than those. Just my opinion though. I really don’t understand the size of these on how small they are, and for the price too.

Hm- I feel like a lot of brands are making their own version of YSL’s Glossy Stains, you know? They seem to be very similar, but in my experience, the YSL ones cannot be beat. They last for so long on me!

I SEE A PURPLE ONE 😀

OK, it probably won’t be the kind of purple I dream of, but I like the shade range, nonetheless!
Since sheer, balmy, glossy lipsticks are kind of my favourite thing to wear on a daily basis, I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how these turn out!

I can’t wait for these to hit Sephora! The formula sounds so interesting! It looks like the Sephora VIB sample is still available so I may place an order to get it.

Ooh Love Me Some Lancome Lip!!! Their lip products have not disappointed me yet!!! For me it’s all in the expectation – lipglosses are just that and lipsticks are not lipglosses. They both have decent moisturising properties, lipglosses that are not tacky or drying and lipsticks that have great color pay-off and are very comfortable to wear. Both have lovely scents that aren’t overpowering. I love Lancome Lip Products – Can’t wait to try these!!!

I ordered early as a Rouge. The packaging is pretty but it is tiny compared to other glosses I own for less $. I ordered the purple one and while I loved it layered over Mac’s magenta liner, it didn’t have too much color on my already pinkish lips on its own. As far as staining…eh, no where near the YSL glossy stains. I returned it.

Is it acceptable to wear just lipgloss and no other makeup for quick trips out on a day off? Or say when I take my daughter to the bus stop? I totally want to try that purple shade!

Just bought cassenoisette. I find the ingredient list questionable. Also, I do agree, the size of the product could definitely be better. Will let you know how it wears
