I have always wanted to try these palettes beause I liked the packaging (haha sucker) does anyone have any thoughts on the eyeshadows? We don’t have Sephora in western canada so I can never check them out…

I’m not a huge fan of the texture and pay off of these. The colors a really beautiful, but it takes a lot of work to get them to look like that. They aren’t horrible, but id save your money until you can swatch them yourself. Id say invest in something else… ( i bought it for the packaging too. im a kat von d sucker)

That’s strange that you have trouble. I would definitely call the Kat Vod D eyeshadow the best I have ever had. They go on in one or two swipes, and they blend beautifully.

I have the Ludwig pallate and I love it. Personaly I haven’t had any problems with it. The shadows have a beautiful finish to them. It’s like a satin finish meets veluxe pearl. Don’t know if that makes sence but I love her shadows.

I have both the Ludwig and Beethoven palettes and I far prefer them to any of the MAC, Stila or HIP shadows that I have. They’re silky smooth and are easy to apply with minimal fallout. A couple of the colors fade a bit when blended too vigorously, but it’s really easy to just pat a bit of color on the top afterwards to get the depth and shimmer back. I seriously reach for these two palettes EVERY DAY.

I have the Beethoven palette and it’s awesome! The texture is great and they’re all very pigmented and smooth. It’s the only palette I make sure to take w/ me every time I travel.

I have this one and Ludwig. I like them both, but I always use a primer, no matter what shadow I’m using. My only complaint about Gypsy is that the cream (Brass Knuckles) is not cream to powder, and smears pretty easily.

I’m excited about this one because I bought the holiday pallet and I’m completely in love with it. I’m just sad I didn’t buy another. I absolutely love the silver cream shadow from the holiday pallet.

I’m so excited for this! I have all of the Kat Von D palettes EXCEPT for Metal Orchestra (which is way too expensive for my blood now). I don’t wear a lot of greens, but I’m pretty positive that this palette will change that. 😀

I have all of her palettes she came out with so far(beethoven, ludwig and metal orchestra) and i just ordered this one..waiting for it! I love these palettes…aswesome colors and payoff…not bad for only $34 each……..she rocks!

I just saw this on Sephora last night and it’s sooooo tempting. I have Ludwig and Beethoven… this is so pretty. Not sure about the cream shadow though, on top of already having so many black eyeshadows. I’m gonna have to go swatch it in person and see how those greens compare to some of the ones I already have.

I will have to check these out im always drawn to the packaging of her products i have been eyeing her eye brush set just because of the designs on them and i will probably get them.

I just got it and promptly returned it the next day. It looks way nicer than it really is and it totally underwhelms. I swatched Ludwig and was impressed – I think I should’ve bought Ludwig in the first place! Buyer beware on this one!

*squee* I looooove the Kat Von D palette that I have. The colors are smooth, full, and gorgeous. Ah! I might have to go and buy that within the week. 😀

oh i just found out about this brand at sephora, and i must say they are so nice, i love the e/s pallettes – they have the nicest feel and consitency (like mac and urban decay), the eyeliners are cool too. the prices arent so bad either. i want all 3.
