Kaleidos Cold Brew Eyeshadow Quad Review & Swatches
Cold Brew
Kaleidos Cold Brew Eyeshadow Quad ($22.00 for 0.17 oz.) is a somewhat subdued, warm-toned neutral color story with a pop of peach sparkle. The mattes were on the more powdery side, and this resulted in sheerer coverage for two of them. The sparkly shade had a high-shine, almost wet-like finish but was best used with a fingertip or over an adhesive base to minimize fallout.

Formula Overview
-
The eyeshadow formula is supposed to have a "rich, velvety texture" that is "soft and creamy yet highly adhesive" so that there is "no creasing." It is touted as being "ultra-pigmented" with "minimal fallout" that "blends effortlessly."
Kaleidos' matte eyeshadows are their standout; they are velvety, smooth, and blendable with high coverage and are incredibly easy to use--they absolutely live up to "minimal fallout" and have that "soft and creamy yet highly adhesive" aspect going on.
The shimmer shades were smooth, pigmented, and denser without being overly thick or too heavy, so they picked up well with dry brushes and applied evenly to bare skin, they just didn't have quite the level of wow-factor for me compared to their matte formula. There was also more variance in the shimmer shades so not every shade was fantastic, whereas the matte shades performed more consistently in comparison.
This eyeshadow formula lived up to its rave reviews within the indie community, though. On me, they typically lasted around eight hours before fading visibly with some of the deeper mattes staying on a little longer.

Nah – this fails to hit the neutral spot for me. If the sparkly shade had been more of a colour, like a bronze shade, and less fidgety to use, then that would have made the quad more appealing, I think.
Oh lordty! Been wanting this one for the longest time, and because I have to use primer every single time I do eyeshadow, I’m sure that this ought to be fine under that set of circumstances.
I loved the look I got from this palette! Radiate is really sparkly and so pretty on the eyes. Also brought the black quad from Kaleidos. I tend to get intimidated with black smokey eye shadow palettes. My Colourpop Smoke and Kaleidos Black Jasmine palettes are brand new, love how they look but scared to use them lol. This one is an easy to use color story.
