Kaja Forest Night Beauty Bento Eyeshadow Trio Review & Swtaches
Forest Night
Kaja Forest Night Beauty Bento Bouncy Shimmer Eyeshadow Trio ($26.00 for 0.09 oz.) is one of two new-for-spring trios that includes one very sparkly shade, one shimmer, and one matte shade. The shimmer was so weak; it was one of the worst-performing shades I’ve tried from a Kaja trio, which are normally one of my favorite products!

Earth Glam
Earth Glam is a bright, light copper with strong, warm golden undertones and an intense, metallic finish paired with a moderate amount of sparkle. It had a very “wet” look when applied to skin.
- Mostly opaque pigmentation
- Smooth, moderately emollient consistency without being too dense
- Best applied with a fingertip to avoid fallout
- Long-wearing (8 hours before fading visibly)
Top Dupes
- ColourPop Walk of Fame (P, $8.00) is less shimmery, darker (95% similar).
- ColourPop Ur the Prize (LE, $6.00) is less shimmery, darker, cooler (85% similar).

- Hard to blend out due to the consistency
- Average-wearing (7 hours before fading visibly)

Well, I thought I wanted this, but if there’s only 3 shades and 1 of those is an epic failure, then I’ll just stick with my Sydney Grace Tiny Marvels x Mel Thompson palette’s Fire Butts and Walkin’ Stick, add Spyder for the missing depth.
I’ve always liked Kaja’s little bento box eyeshadows too – especially when two of the shades are shimmers. But that second shimmer shade is just awful, it spoils the whole trio.
What a shame about that middle shade – Wood Breeze. It looks so pretty but clearly doesn’t perform as it should. I was sure I’d have some dupes but all the “unassigned dupes” look nothing like it – they’re all so green or very warm gold shades.
I totally wanted this one badly – love my kaja trios! my biggest delight in eyeshadow discoveries for the last year. I guess I will skip.
