Definitely by Sydney Grace and Natasha Denona. Pat McGrath, too, but only for lipstick.
Yes! Bare Minerals, Tarte, Colourpop, Sydney Grace, Kaja, and Heimish!
Huda beauty regarding the palettes (I love her colour stories and how She arranges the shades in her palettes) and Mac about the lipsticks (I’ve foto about 20 Mac lipsticks!!!). Some year ago, when I was an university studenti with a more limited budget, I bought a lot from Kiko. Now I prefer more High brands, but Kiko still dominates my Stash in terms of eyepecils. Kiko’s automatic ones are exceptionally High quality, I prefer their pencils over Mac ones.
Nars, CP, and SG.
What’s SG?
Sydney Grace.
Sydney Grace
Hi Christine. I have Chanel and Tom Ford. Love the colors, longevity, and quality of these two brands. I love these two brands. I have been buying some Chantecaille and Sisly-Paris. I like them very much but the color selections are somewhat limited.
For colour cosmetics, probably MAC, UD, Dior, Chanel with a bit (a biggish bit) of Tarte and Too Faced thrown in. Lise Watier and Clarins, which aren’t really “known” for their colour products, probably have a disproportionate space in my collection in relation to the # of products they have.
I have a lot of Urban Decay, ColourPop, Tarte, Anastasia, Wet n Wild, e.l.f., Makeup Revolution, BH Cosmetics, Notoriously Morbid, and Apocalyptic Beauty.
Urban Decay. I finally did an inventory of my palettes and I have 23 UD out of 70 in total.
No; I have a very eclectic, smallish collection. I try to keep it as edited as possible.
My stash has made a shift this year and while I still have heavy billing for PMG, Natasha Denona made serious impact late in the year in terms of number of e/s palettes I own and overall the label has great representation in many of my favoured face products: e/s, h/l, blush, bronzer, base. The big ND sale made things come in fast and hard, but I truly love and use the products I purchased and I feel a real affinity. The remainder of my stash is all over the map.
I used to have a very Colourpop-centric collection, but as I’ve decluttered/perfected over the years, it’s really not dominated by any particular brand.
Categories are certainly dominated by certain companies, but not necessarily my collection overall.
Lipsticks/glosses/etc. – Colourpop and Bite (but now that Bite has discontinued most of my favorite things and have not yet come out with replacements, Bobbi Brown has recently been making a strong appearance).
Eyeshadow – Colourpop for pallates, Sydney Grace,

MAC and Urban Decay as the bulk of my stash. ColourPop and Nyx as my main drugstore/low cost brands. Pat McGrath for my main luxury brand, for now, with Natasha Denona slowly gaining.
Top of a very long list is Viseart. Also well-represented in my stash are Urban Decay, Kat Von D, Colourpop, Marc Jacobs Beauty, Natasha Denona to name a few at the tip of the iceberg!
Aromaleigh, hands down. After that it’s probably ColourPop, then Notoriously Morbid.
Lips: MAC
Cheeks: Clinique
Eyeshadow Palettes: ColourPop
Eyeshadow Singles: MAC
For skincare/bodycare it’s definitely Paula’s Choice. There are some products I always get from the brand (the fragrance free shampoo and conditioner, the AHA and BHA body lotion, face SPF, toners), they always launch new interesting products, and their deals for $65/$75 purchases are so great that I always end up filling the cart with what I’ll finish soon in terms of skincare.
For make up is MAC. It’s mostly because I own only 15 eyeshadows and 6 face powders (3 blushes, 1 contour, 1 bronzer and 1 brightening powder) which sit in a MAC custom palette (double sided) and are MAC refills; and because all my lipsticks are MAC (the Matte and Satin formulas are the only lipsticks I ever liked).
Viseart, Pat McGraft, Natasha Denona, Juvia’s Place, Coloured Raine, ColourPop, ABH. Are the bulk of my collection.
My color cosmetics are dominated by MAC, largely because they have my favorite lipstick formulas (Lustre and Cremesheen) and their eyeshadows don’t cause allergic reactions for me. I also like the freedom of being able to put together custom palettes from their blush and eyeshadow offerings. NARS is also a strong presence, again because of their eyeshadow/lipstick formulations. I actually prefer their new lipstick formula to the old one. Foundations, however, are all over the place — ABH, Benefit, Guerlain. Mascara is mostly Cover Girl but that’s largely because they’re one of the few brands that offers brown mascara in consistent formulas.
Eyes = Pat McGrath, Chanel, Tom Ford, Sydney Grace and MAC
Cheeks (blush/highlight/bronzer) = Tom Ford and MAC
Lips = Pat McGrath and MAC
Brushes = Sonia G, Wayne Goss and some old school MAC
3 or 4 years ago I would have answered exclusively MAC. I didn’t even bother with MAC’s holiday collection this year save for buying Walk of Flame lipstick as a present. MAC just doesn’t/don’t have the “it” factor for me anymore, or at least lately.
Burberry, Shu Uemura, Kiko.
Estee Lauder, Paula’s Choice for skincare. YSL, Tom Ford, Armani, ByTerry for makeup.
For eyeshadows – it’s quite a mix of UD, bareMinerals, Dior, Guerlain, Lorac etc.
For lipsticks – it’s definitely more CP lux Lipsticks, some Clarins Joli Rouge, Maybelline and Sephora Lipstories.
Menagerie Cosmetics claims the top spot. I have four eyeshadow palettes (three large and one small) as well as four liquid lipsticks. They have the only liquid lipstick formula I really love and would repurchase at full price.
I also have quite a bit of ABH (including two of the monstrously sized pro palettes, I have no regrets, along with Modern Renaissance and several brow products), and most of my lipstick collection is Urban Decay Vice because it’s my favorite formula.
ABH, ND and PMG, these are the brands that work well for me, but for eyeliners it’s scattered all over the map.
For eye products, Urban Decay and ColourPop are the majority. For lip products, NYX and ColourPop reign supreme. And at the moment, the majority of my face products are Makeup Revolution and Tarte. 🙂
Base: MAC
Blush: Surratt
Lipstick: Lisa Eldridge
Eye shadows: Viseart
I have a lot of L’Oreal lipsticks, e.l.f. brushes, Urban Decay palettes, and several Revlon lipsticks.
Eyes – Dior, Chanel, some odds and sods from Sisley, Estee Lauder, Charlotte Tilbury. Only one Pat McGrath. I tend to use up what I have until I buy more.
Skincare – Dior, Estee Lauder, Clinique, Lancôme
Lips – mainly Chanel and Dior. Also Estee Lauder and a couple of Charlotte Tilbury and Tom Ford minis.
Miscellaneous – Urban Decay, YSL, Nars. I also use a lot of GWP stuff.
Yes, easily by MAC and NARS 🙂
In the last year, fryinnae for eye shadow. Everything else is random ?
No, there are brands I don’t have, but overall I have a variety of brands: Natasha Denona, Urban Decay, theBalm, Make Up For Ever, etc.
Of course. While I use many brands, Colourpop is probably my most repped. Also BH, ABH, Rude, and Morphe. That’s not to say I don’t have a TON of other stuff from other brands…
I tend to favor Smashbox, Maybelline, and Milani for lipsticks but have no collection of a certain brand in any other category. I attribute this to having a small and well-curated makeup collection.
While I love doing research on products and really love the items I own, it’s usually pretty easy for me to pass things on once I’m done with them. There’s no room in my makeup storage container for things I don’t absolutely use and love, so being a completionist or collector just doesn’t make sense for my life.
Yes. Chanel, Tom Ford (eye products), and Clé de Peau are the major players.
For eyes: Natasha Denona, Huda, IT Cosmetics, Nabla & Inglot
For lips: Pat McGrath, Maybelline and Kat von D
For foundation: an eclectic assortment
For powders: Laura Mercier, Urban Decay and La Prairie
For everything: Charlotte Tilbury
Interesting to see everyone’s lists, thank you
