Inglot Pearl Eyeshadows in Inglot #422, 409, 402, 421, 406 (Browns)
Inglot #422
Inglot Pearl Eyeshadows in Inglot #422, 409, 402, 421, 406 (Browns)
We continue exploring Inglot’s Pearl Eyeshadow ($4.50 to $7.00 each for 0.09 oz.) range by taking a look at five of the brown shades. Inglot’s Pearl Eyeshadows have a very fine shimmer with a brighter, pearly sheen. I had a good experience with these five eyeshadows–they were easy to work with, nicely pigmented, and had the soft, smooth textures I’ve come to expect from Inglot’s Pearl eyeshadows. I really appreciate the consistency of Inglot’s eyeshadows, though, because even if you’re unsure of a color, at least you can anticipate the quality still being high and familiar.
- 422 is a medium-dark chocolate brown with a pearl finish. It has a subtle red undertone.
- 409 is a dark, bronzed chocolate brown with a pearl finish. This is a cooler-toned brown compared to #422.
- 402 is a muted, taupe-ish brown with a pearl finish.
- 421 is a medium-dark coppered brown with a pearl finish.
- 406 is a golden bronze with a pearl finish, though it reads more metallic than pearl.

Inglot #421
Inglot #406
#421 is impressive. I can’t wait to see the grays and blacks. I judge the quality of eyeshadows by seeing a pale – not white – shade, a dark gray or black shade and a warm brown or a purple. I really like what I’ve seen so far from Inglot.
They all are so pigmented. Loved all of them. 🙂
ohhh I’m loving 406… I’m just curious, how many shadows do you have, because as far as I can tell, these too are all pearl finishes, and theres still a couple of textures to go… will you be reviewing all the textures in this series, or will it just be pearls for now? (btw I have 70, and so far, none of mine have been duds, they’re starting to replace my mac colors)
I just have to say that I am SO THANKFUL that you are having this epic Inglot swatchfest! I will probably be placing an Inglot order for my birthday and these swatches are AMAZING and are going to be so helpful in picking the colors I want in my palette. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I have the first 3 browns you listed and #402 is my favorite. I love the look of taupe shades in the pan, but find that they’re not usually suited to my eye color (green-toned hazel with gold flecks). Taupes look best on blue-eyed ladies, IMO. But, #402 is the taupe for me!
Hi!
The colors that you pick for the palette are gorgeous!Do you think is a good palette for a starter?I’m afraid that they are too shimmer..Why didn’t you pick matte eyeshadows? Did you ever tried the matte eyeshadows from Inglot?thanks*
These are just pearl eyeshadows. I keep my eyeshadows organized by finish! I reviewed several matte shades in the past, actually 🙂
I would love to see some tutorials using these eyeshadows. I have Inglot 446 and it is super gorgeous. Thanks for posting these swatches, it really helps when choosing colors.
I really find these Inglot Eyeshadows more impressive than MAC. Too bad Inglot doesn’t have the nice LE’s…
I’m sure they will once there more established.
Part of what I like about Inglot is that they come out with permanent collections (Rainbow, Power of Matte). I think it’s more reliable.
#409 is gorgeous! To me #406 looks like Mac’s Woodwinked and #402 like Patina.
These are so beautifully pigmented, I have a feeling I won’t be able to resist the shimmering dark browns. Thanks so much for swatching them. Can’t wait for the next row of golds & greens (my favorite combo)!
Omg im in love with them all!!! Christine my husband is going to be mad at you when I make the Inglot purchase lol.
Oooh, these look absolutely delicious! Thank you (again) so much for doing these swatches, Christine – we really appreciate it! 🙂
Have you tried any of the matte colors yet? They are amazing! I love, love, love Inglot! You can’t beat the quality for the price!
I’ve reviewed them in the past – check the Inglot category or you could do a search 🙂
they all look amazing! looking forward to more inglot eyeshadow reviews and thanks for the effort Christine, much appreciated!
Have most of them- I am such an Inglot fan! This texture is stunning! 406 is gorgeous on Indian and light African American skin! Love love
Ooh, I love taupe! Number 402 looks nice. Do you have a swatch for #419? I would really like to see what that looks like. It looks like a beautiful olive color.
I just hope you realize the AGONY you are causing those of us who aren’t in the US (Inglot only ships within the US). Perhaps this is a good thing as I’d be wanting so many of the shadows you’ve shown already, including 422, 409 and 402 from these swatches. Christine, I tried to find what the other finishes are besides the matte, pearl and shine ones (I assume “shine” is a frostier finish). They have some other finishes – with letters after the numbers – but I can’t find an explanation of them. Do you have any info?
I don’t have any information that’s not on the website – the other finishes are Shine, AMC, and Double Sparkle, but I don’t have any official information, sorry!
Inglot has several websites, so you might try looking for locations in your country or for the country-specific website (e.g. I know Inglot has one for Australia).
Wow! Thanks for taking the time to do this. I really love these colors and I really love Inglot eyeshadows. Since Inglot doesn’t have any description of their colors or show any swatches, it has been really helful to see the swatches that you and others have done, when I was deciding what to order. I can’t wait to place my next order. 🙂
There was an Inglot in a mall near me a couple years ago, and I never tried any of their products before the store closed. Too bad, because these look great.
I really gotta check out the Inglot store in a mall in Copenhagen Denmark
hi, Christine!
How many layers till the color looks like this?
It’s just one layer.
Hi,
Perhaps it is more appropriate to post here, but I just assumed that you would stop responding to posts after they’ve been up for awhile. I ask the same question I asked in the other thread: Does Inglot offer any dupes for Mac’s Bronze? Is Inglot 406 similar? I really trust your swatches, because you’re a professional and you use professional lighting. Please help me.
I didn’t find any dupes for Bronze by Inglot, sorry!
