Inglot #405
Inglot Pearl Eyeshadows in Inglot #405, 404, 419, 433 (Earth Tones)
Inglot’s Pearl Eyeshadow ($4.50 to $7.00 each for 0.09 oz.) were seemingly easy to organize by color, but after swatching, there were a few odd ones out that didn’t quite seem to go with traditional browns or greens.  Consequently, I give you earth tones.  I will finish up this palette with grays and whites in the next Inglot post! 🙂
I’ve come to really appreciate consistency over the years, both in a brand’s overall quality as well as what to expect from a particular product/formula. Â I’m nearly finished swatching over forty shades of Inglot’s pearl eyeshadows, and there aren’t any true duds. Â There are a couple that aren’t true-to-pan in color, but the quality is quite consistent within the range. Â It just means that no matter what color you might buy, you can expect really soft, smooth textures with excellent color payoff–and these four shades are no exception.
- 405 is a medium copper brown with a pearl finish, though it is slightly metallic in sheen. This seems like it would be comparable to MAC Amber Lights (perhaps not as red-based).
- 404 is a dirtied gold with a pearl finish. It’s gold but not a true gold; there is some brown in there. Â It seems comparable to MAC’s Goldmine (possibly a little darker).
- 419 is a muted olive green with an antique gold sheen and pearl finish.
- 433 is a lightened olive green with a stronger gold pull and pearl finish.

#433 is so pretty!
The colors are soooo pretty! I’m glad that i go to poland in a few weeks and have the chance to buy the eyeshadows!
i love your blog, it’s always very informative! 🙂
xoxo
These are incredible. Holy cow.
They’re all beautiful!!!
I wish you had these swatches before my hubby went to Poland. I did luck out with the choices I made, but there are some gorgeous ones that I wish I was able to get. Maybe next time…in the meantime I hope Inglot starts expanding in Canada….
They have a few stores: http://www.inglotcosmetics.com/inglot/stores
None of them are near to me, but maybe we can do a roadtrip to Montreal during summer. 😉 Hope they come to Ontario very soon.
Ooh, yay! I asked for a swatch of #419 and here it is! I love it. I love olive greens. This shade looks beautiful!
I need 404. Now. 😀
grrr—just when I thought I didn’t need any more shadows and swore I could bypass Inglot though I did buy a gorgeous creme blush at the makeup show NYC last year and have been to their Times Square store here a dozen times without buying much, seeing these swatches makes me want to part ways with some cash. *sigh* lol
#419 is so beautiful!
Hi
What country are these made in?
Thanks
Poland
I’m glad I always make promises to buy something, but never do. I was so keen on buying a mac palette and filling it with 15 shadows, but clearly this is the better deal… glad I haven’t wasted any money yet. xD Maybe I should wait LONGER to see if there is a deal that’s better than this one. xD
Hi Christine, did you organize all of your inglot palettes according to the eyeshadow finish?
Yep!
I was reading your blog this week, and saw all the pictures of the shadows. imagine my surprise today when shopping at Garden State plaza in Paramus when I saw the sign for Inglot,
there were 2 friendly sales people there. they had a huge selection of nail colors, very chanelish looking.
Amazing! I’m tempted to collect them all and blow off everything else for awhile. The price point was so low that I thought it was all buzz, but this is awesome.
Kathy, I’m with you! I’ve decided to collect them since the price is low but the quality is wonderful! There are 209 eyeshadows total from the freedom system so what I decided to do was get 10 20 pan eyeshadows palettes and one 10 palette & bye a backup of my favorite ehyeshadow to fill up the 10 pan… I have a few of their gel liners and they are so amazing! I’m gonna finish collecting those also.. they’re worth checking out! They don’t budge AT ALL. I’m glad Christine is digging deep into the company and showing readers how great their products are!
I hate typos -__- I meant “buy” lolol
