Next up, golds and greens of Inglot’s Pearl Eyeshadow ($4.50 to $7.00 each for 0.09 oz.) range. (And the next set to follow, obviously, will be blues!) #400 isn’t available in pan form, so I don’t have it, but I’m curious to see if it’s more of a true yellow, as both #430 and 403 are more gold than yellow.
Inglot’s Pearl Eyeshadows have a very fine shimmer with a brighter, pearly sheen. I had a good experience with these five eyeshadows–they were easy to work with, nicely pigmented, and had the soft, smooth textures I’ve come to expect from Inglot’s Pearl eyeshadows.
- 430 is a darkened yellow gold with a pearl finish that borders on metallic. I don’t have it to compare, but it seems like it would be similar to Urban Decay’s Honey eyeshadow.
- 403 is a paled yellow gold with a pearl finish. This shade felt the slightest bit powdery, made more noticeable by the perfection of a lot of other shades I would say.
- 414 is a blackened teal-green with a pearl finish. It has a blackened-brown base. It’s not as complex as shades like theBalm’s Jealous Jordana.
- 418 is a medium-dark forest green with a black-brown base and pearl finish. It seems like it may be a little darker than MAC’s Humid but comparable.
- 412 is a pale, yellowed chartreuse with a golden metallic sheen, though it has a pearl finish.

Looks great! would make an awesome vibrant summer look
O_O I need #414 and #418!
Loving 412!
Totally Gorgeous……
#414 og 418 are to die for.
I thought that 430 looked like UD Honey when I saw it.
I think the pearl in these makes them swatch lighter than what they seem to be in the pan
Particularly when the pearl is really white it seems!
#430 and #403 are so delicious. Mmmm.
I feel like these were created with me in mind 😉
Hi Christine – Thanks so much for doing all the Inglot swatches! I’m planning to order some matte neutrals, and waiting to see your swatches before I buy 🙂 Any idea when you’ll get to those?
You have the best swatches on the web!
Sorry, I don’t!
Thanks for the reply, I look forward to the swatches whenever you get to them 🙂
I absolutely LOVE greens!!! 418 you are my favorite!!
What is the comparison of 414 to MAC’s steamy? They look similar! Both beautiful!
These look so pretty!
Is #430 close to the gold in the ‘I Got Good Jeans’ trio from WnW?
I love your blog! I check it at least 3 times a day! You’re my favorite! 🙂
Were these swatched over primer?
Nope!
I’m so excited to see all of the swatches (and even more so for when they’re all available on your cool little swatch comparison tool) of all of these Inglot shadows. Since they’re fairly inexpensive, I’m thinking I want to get some colors that I don’t normally wear, just so I’ll have some good quality fun colors to play around with when I’m in the mood.
Love them! I wonder how #430 compares to Sun Blonde and #418 and UD’s Mildew. Mildew looks more gold and #418 more jewel-toned. I should buy #418 and do a side by side ;-P.
Do you prefer Inglot #418 over MAC Humid?
Really, they’re about the same. Quality-wise, I’d be happy to work with either!
