Illamasqua Body Electrics for Summer 2010
Illamasqua Body Electrics for Summer 2010
Illamasqua, the UK-based make-up line for your alter ego, introduces its first collection of make-up for the whole body: Body Electrics. Inspired by the power of kinetic energy, the art of movement and the fluidity of the body in motion, this stunning collection is an anthology of creams, powders and dry body oils infused with light, shimmer and shine, designed to highlight and contour the whole body.
The first Illamasqua collection debuting in the U.S. to include exclusive, limited-edition products, Body Electrics has been formulated with hyper-pigmented light-reflecting particles that ignite the skin with intense colors and finishes. Each product in the range has been selected to accentuate the body’s every twist and turn to exquisite perfection, exuding a confidence that’s more than skin deep.
An expressive, avant-garde visual campaign featuring stunning make-up created by Alex Box and fashion styling by Dazed magazine’s Katie Shillingford support the campaign. Shot by leading fashion photographers Warren du Preez and Nick Thronton Jones, the images take on the duo’s “hypervisuality” style based on the manipulation of light. With Body Electrics, Illamasqua harnesses the power of movement and takes body make-up to a whole new level.

The Prism naillaqure sounder wonderful 🙂
I agree I might get one and maybe the Illumine Oils in Volt.
I want to love Illa so much, but they use so much petroleum in their products that I can’t bring myself to buy any of it! Sigh. Beautiful collection, too!
wow – interesting.
Dont forget the body brush! Its like a kabuki 🙂
i’m still dying to get my hands on the liquid metals….
I’m let down…I was expecting more eyeshadows and pigments, maybe blushes and lashes…:(
only thing I like is the violet oil thing…
Pewter liquid metal is pretty snazzy. I haven’t used any of their liquid metals yet tho. Mostly this just made me giggle: “Danger Electricity.” I don’t know why but that’s funny to me (probably because it’s a promo for makeup.
I wanted solistice and enraptures shadows but never got them so i’m glad to see them in a palette with other liquid metals. I want it. Nice.
Those oils look very very very very interesting :}
Wow, such awesome promo pics! The gold Body Electrics looks really interesting.
Goodness these are exciting.. the Illumine Oils and the Pewter cream look gooorgeous.
I don’t have an alter ego.LOL.
I’ll pass.
This looks so amazing! I really love illamasqua- their products, their philosophy, their promotions- everything!
I’m excited to see swatches of the iridescent, purple and blue nail polishes.
SO interested in this and Illamasqua in general. I didn’t realise there was a stockist in Ireland! (Just the one!) Definitely taking a trip up to have a look. I have seen a swatch of the silver liquid metal! WOW it’s pure silver!!
I’ve never had the chance to get my hands on some Illamasqua but I often find myself looking at their galleries. I wish I was more impressed with this collection. It doesn’t live up to the name. =(
The oil in volt sounds interesting, but I really like the look of prism nailpolish and the quad!!
I want to see pictures of the bronzer ):
