Illamasqua Avenge Lipstick Review, Photos, Swatches

Illamasqua Avenge Lipstick

Brighten Up the Winter:  Illamasqua Avenge Lipstick

Illamasqua Avenge Lipstick (£14.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a new shade from their winter collection Dystopia. It’s a hot fuchsia pink with cool undertones and a matte finish. It has just a touch of sheen, but it really is quite matte. Illamasqua’s matte lipsticks are some of the least drying matte lipsticks around, but they may be more drying than some are used to (if you haven’t tried out mattes before — most of them can be a smidgen drying). Avenge is easy to apply, goes on creamy and doesn’t stick in places, so it gives lips even, opaque coverage without much fuss.

The only downside? It’s only available in the UK or through the website (which will ship outside of the UK!), but it is still a bit of a bummer.

Such a strong shade of pink. I like it…but I doubt that I would wear it, it’s to strong for me. My skin is very white. This color is very similar with Essie nail polish – Pink Park from Autumn collection 🙂

I thought Illamasqua products were avaliable at your local Sephora? But Avenge is a lovely shade of bubblegum pink! Looks great on you, Christine!

Only about 300 SKUs are available at *select* Sephoras (the one nearest to me doesn’t have Illamasqua last I checked!), and I know their winter collection isn’t over here yet (I want to say I heard it wasn’t coming), but it’s not up on Sephora.com, either!

As a matte lover, I am dying to try their version. I would love to see more of their lipsticks swatched.

Btw, Illamasqua is sold at Sephora, for us across the pond.

This is a gorgeous color…too bad its only available in the UK and I dont like having makeup especially lipsticks shipped to me…always gets damaged some how. 🙁

Avenge is amazing. I have lots of colors that are similar to it and it’s hard for me to wear really light or blue based pinks but I just love them so much! it would seem so girly, pink lipstick, but it ends up being so edgy

Gorgeous! So annoying this shade is U.K. only though! I was going to pick up “Fable” with my Sephora $15 coupon but now I’m wondering if it’s too close to Mac “Please Me?”

Thats like 22 or 23 bucks or so…plus shipping??? If that were the only item purchased, doesnt quite sound like the ideal situtation to say the least. Esspecailly if it was damaged.

Ill probably just find a dupe for this. Doesnt seem worth the hassel even for an A- product.
