Also the Haus Labs for me! Now that I’ve figured out how to work with it, it’s so gorgeous. I find that it looks pretty rough if I apply with a brush, but with a sponge it’s so skin-like and natural!

This is so hard….like picking between two children! I do love La Mer soft fluid and also Armani Luminous Silk and Hourglass Soft Glow foundation….although recently I’ve been loving the new KVD serum foundation which is very thin and light, not heavy and thick like the old one. The Mario foundation I’ve had pretty good luck with also…..It really depends on the day…..I’d pick one for running around and shopping, and a different one for going out in the evening….unfortunately for my pocketbook I’m a makeup junkie and I could never be able to pick just one of anything…..

MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NW10. It’s my go-to when I need medium/full coverage and longevity but I can also sheer it out and NW10 is a perfect shade match.
YSL All Hours used to be my other favorite higher coverage long wearing foundation but after the horrible reformulation, I don’t have a shade anymore. BR10 was almost identical to NW10 but the lightest shades are now really yellow.

GA Luminous Silk 1.5. Only bc I haven’t yet been able to try/purchase Haus Labs or Lisa Eldridge’s foundations yet, bc I feel either of those will take over Luminous Silk as my fave.

IT Cosmetics original CC Cream (not the Illuminating one and not the matte one). I fear that company is going to fade from the makeup scene and I should probably buy a backup – maybe during the next Sephora sale… If it was still available, there was a version of Dior foundation called Diorskin Forever Perfect Foundation….and for me, it was perfect….WAS, in the sense that it’s been reformulated yet AGAIN and I’m pretty sure it’s not longer the same thing.

As much as I LOVE the fact that my MAC Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof foundations can literally stand up to anything, even concerts, 115°F+ humid weather, sudden thunderstorms, etc., it has a tendency to oxidize and darken into something very different than when first applied, sooo… I would instead return to Lancome Teint Idole foundation. It NEVER oxidized or changed into a different shade half an hour to an hour later!

Super easy question- first would definitely be armani luminous silk foundation! And to cheat a little 2nd would be dior forever matte 😉

It’s MAC studiofix fluid in NC10. I avoided MAC because she seemed boring and so 2000 & late. I bought the lightest shade in just about every foundation known to man looking for a color match. It turns out there’s a reason you’ll see people on forums like Reddit describe their skin tone with MACs system. It’s simple and it makes sense.

If needed, but prob not at my age and ‘station’, Koh Gen Do aqua. The reformulation is not beloved (is it ever, esp w/updates of vintage perfumes?) and the tag is now 96usd.
