Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

MAC Craving, MAC Craving and MAC Craving! Okay – in reality, it would be MAC Craving, Givenchy Fuchsia in the Know and Smashbox Red Rage or Legendary.

Mariella, I like Craving too. Have you tried Twig. Its a bit more brown, but far from brown. Its like Cravings conservative employer approved sister.

I tried Twig years ago, when it seemed to be everyone’s favourite colour. I hated it. I think it was a Matte (which is the kiss of death for me in any case) and the shade itself was not flattering. I don’t know if I just got a bad one or what but it sat virtually unused for ages and then I Back to Mac’d it. As I say, so many people love it so to this day I wonder if I got a lemon. But on me, Craving IS the conservative, employer approved lipstick. If they discontinue it, I’ll be in serious trouble.

Tower 28 Lip Jelly in Cashew, YSL Tatouge Liquid Matte Lip Stain in Neutral Underground & Bobbi Brown Lipstick in Blondie Pink

1995 (Pat McGrath)
Flow (Milk x Wu-Tang)
Ruby Slipper (Chanel)

sadly, 2 have been discontinued but this is a hypothetical…

I keep thinking about getting Fawn. I am concerned it would pull orange on me but darn it my brain won’t evict the thought. It looks like such a lovely tawny-rose (in some pictures) shade.

A deep burgundy: MAC Diva
A beige my-lips-but-better: MAC Velvet Teddy (or similar)
A plum my-lips-but-better: MAC Brave or MEHR (or similar)

My picks are: Fenty Gloss Bomb in Universal Glow, Nudestix Cream Lip + Cheek in Sin and Bite beauty Outburst Longwear lip stain in Sangria Slush. Love them all!!

This is super hard, because masks are ba-a-ack. If not, then Fenty Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow, MAC La Vie En Rouge or Chili, and PML She’s Heaven.

ColourPop The Rabbit (it is a color that has a lot of dupes though, but I wish CP would bring this back)
Bite (old Bite, good Bite) Sour Cherry
BECCA Nectar

Honorable Mention for a gloss would go to Fenty Mauve Wives.

1. Becca Sugar
2. Fenty (Slip Shine) Makeout Break
3. Tie: My own personal blend from Bite Beauty called “Diva” & CT Pillow Talk

That’s a fairly easy question for me to answer!
1. Maybelline’s Spice for Me
2. CP’s Foolish
3. CP’s Tea Thyme

Honourable mention would go to Milani’s Cinnamon Spice, Clarin’s Joli Rouge Spicy Cinnamon and MAC’s Fresh Moroccan

Burberry Kisses in Garnet, Mac Modesty, and Coco Rouge Flash in Deepness (which I use and love as a stand alone lip colour). Reaching for them the most these days.
So many from the Bite Beauty of yesteryear though… *sigh*

Urban Decay Rebel (in this fantasy I’m able to replace it, lol), Lancome Absolu Amande Sucree and Lancome Absolu Rose Crystal. I dont think the Lancome Absolu line gets the attention it deserves, but its great for someone that doesn’t like desert dry lipstick.

As a lippie lover this is hard – but if I had to…
1) Charlotte Tilbury Bond Girl
2) Dior Lip Glow in Lilac (DC)
3) Lancome Poeme

This is so hard to answer. I love my lipsticks and don’t want to be without them, any of them. 🙂
For a year I might be able to make do with:
UD F-Bomb
MAC Hey Frenchie
CT Bond Girl, now called MI Kiss for some reason she renamed a lot of her products.
This would leave me without a fuchsia so an honorable mention to UD Firefly.
