Pat McGrath. Her Motherships never fair to make bring out my creativity and her special shades are really beautiful. They are pricey, but I usually ask for them as birthday or holiday gifts.
My favorite lip company is Besame. I love the attention to detail and the lipstick formula. I always feel luxe when wearing one of their shades!

I’ve tried mostly the eyeshadow so far but this brand has me highly intrigued. Sophisticated packaging , great quality and not flooding the market with constant cheap releases. Releases seem very intentional and really building a brand as a whole. I have 3 eyeshadow quads and two lid lusters and they make me very glam and elegant

You nailed it! Having 4 of Sydney Grace palettes that I absolutely treasure, I would have to say the same. That brand puts out some of the most unique color stories of any brand, and it goes for the ones that SG puts together on their own, not just those done in collaborations with beauty reviewers!

Another brand that I have fallen head over heels for would have to be Menagerie Cosmetics. Consistently great quality and their artwork is BEYOND adorable! I have the Artherine Cheek Palette on my mental wishlist. 🐻

Sydney Grace is a good one, Christine. I would say that if you like eye shadow another brand to try, particularly for the duo chrome shades is Kaleidos. I also think that on the lower end of the range, ColourPop is a brand that has mostly great products, a good price point and is one I think everyone should try at least once to see if they like the formula’s.

Laura Mercier. No, she does nothing glitzy or earth shattering, but she has provided excellent, top quality French products that are rarely discontinued. It’s, to me, an elegant unstated brand that will always have my heart.

I love pat Mcgrath and Natasha Denona. I have them all. But I recently purchased 6 pallets from Sydney Grace and I am obsessed and in love! I originally thought they were too colorful for me, but that is not the case. They are stunning . The Mel Thompson palette and all 3 Temptalia palletes are my new favorites. I am grabbing for these over all others. I can’t believe I didn’t try these sooner. I am on vacation and these 4 are the only palettes I brought with me. I truly believe everyone should try these. You will not be disappointed

I feel the same way about Sydney Grace! I am obsessed and it’s all I want to use. And their blushes are fabulous!! I have created about a dozen Natasha dupe 5-pan and midi palettes from my SG singles and I love the fun of creating them with the help of Christine’s Dupes and Swatches for all palettes I want to dupe. And it’s just so fun to do!!!! 🙂 I think I own all SG palettes and I am so excited about Christmas in July! I buy everything new. Tee!

I would also echo your pick Christine because the brand brings out affordable, yet excellent eyeshadows all the time and it is really easy to create your own palette of favourites.
My second pick would be ND – again, she has brought out some stunning eye palettes over the past few years too – although they are much more expensive.
For lipsticks – once upon a time I would have said ColourPop’s lux lipstick range, but they have recently d/c all their really good ones.

I do agree with Pat McGrath for a “mainstream” brand (although she began as indie I believe). Her palettes are so beautiful and color stories amazing. Her graphics are outstanding as well. I also love ND she has some beautiful stuff. There are a few indie brands that might beat out both of those. To quickly name a few… Fyrinnae, MBA, Clionadh, Terra Moons, Devinah. Their shadows are stunning.

Hey, I wish *I* could get Sydney Grace at a better price – the shipping and exchange on just the one Temptalia palette I got was rather shocking. If I could get her stuff in store, I’d have a lot more SG shadows!

I also find the shipping very expensive, and then I have to add the 25% tax so it’s not a very affordable brand for Europeans. possibly the same for everywhere except The US.
I still found it worth the cost for what I have bought from the brand, the Temptalia palettes all three in light and a bunch of complimentary singles that I think I bought while on sale, but I can’t really recall.
Anyway shipping from other US brands aren’t as costly.

Chanel. Have you ever tried Chanel? Creamy & dreamy. See if you can get samples. And USE them. They even have an exclusive ( read : expensive) line. Their lipsticks are superb. Their face makeup amazing. And try the Chance Eau Tendre perfume while you are there. Gorgeous.
