Yay. I’ve been looking for this since many of my friends in the UK and Asia have already bought it. I kept checking Sephora (since I know they carry her lippies). Thanks for the good news Christine!
This looks very nice….I can’t wait to see your review if you’re reviewing it
I saw this today and immediately signed up for email notification for when it’s in stock. Never heard of Huda or the brand but it looks lovely! As long as it’s not made in China, I’m going to add this to my Sephora VIB Rouge haul.
Huda Kattan is a very successful professional blogger based in Dubai. (Her blog, HudaBeauty, is in English) You can also catch her on Instagram and YouTube. She recently launched her own line of cosmetics which gained quite a bit of traction amongst her fans. Will it have broader appeal? Time will tell.
I forgot to say that according to Alibaba.com the manufacturer is China.
Nooo….. it’s $83CAD. lol I’m not surprised but I’ll have to wait if I get this one.
Yessss! I’ve been eyeing this ever since I stumbled upon this online. The colors look stunning. Please, please swatch and review.
I have read heard mixed reviews on this. I am eagerly awaiting your review 😀
I’ve not heard any outstanding reviews either; particularly about the mattes.
You are right Lea. Although some people seem to absolutely love this palette, then some don’t like it at all! There is no in between.
I was pretty surprised that the shimmerswere the positive and the mattes the issue. This seemed like it had potential alongside the Ciate Chloe palette to be a cool option for people. Given the ratio of matte to shimmer, it just doesn’t sound like it works for the price point; at least without being able to see face-to-face first.
I agree with you .I prefer the colours in this one over the Chloe palette though. So, as a last resort I am waiting for Christine’s opinion. If it is also negative as far as the mattes are concerned, then this will be a no go for me.
I wish November would hurry up and get here. The VIB ROUGE sale seems so far away. This is at the top of my wish list now!
I have heard very mixed reviews on this one.The mattes are supposedly pretty bad.I don’t think I am going to buy this.If it is available in my Sephora I will swatch it in store and have then try it on my eyes and then make my final decision.I have the ABH Modern Renaissance and have the Kyshadow Burgundy palette on the way which have a similar color selection.
This is truly a stunning selection of colors and finishes.
I look forward to Sephora carrying more of her stuff.
Wow, this sure seems to overlap ABH Modern Renaissance across many of the shades. Some of the shimmers/frosts look interesting. It’s going on my “maybe” list pending reviews and competing products I’m eyeing.
there are so may mixed reviews on this palette. Some people like it and others don’t. Huda says that some shades must be picked up with fingers for better performance. So i am waiting for your review 🙂
I’m intrigued…
I just saw a YouTube video a few days ago by Total Makeup Junkie 101 on this palette and it did not get a very good review at all. In fact it was a total disappointment.
This looks pretty, but I’ve seen several reviews on youtube that say the quality isn’t there. I really trust your opinion, Christine, so I’ll wait for your review on this one!
My wish would be that it just came with only the metallics and that none of them contained carmine and since it only had half the shadows (no mattes) it would be half the price. THEN I could buy it!!
It reminds me of my Violet Voss Holy Grail palette.
Ugh just when I thought my vib rouge sale cart was complete here we go!!!!??? I’ve been eyeing this Thing for forever but couldn’t push myself to pay that much for shipping!!!! I was gonna go with the abh renessaince palette but this is wayyyyyy better in my opinion because of the foul shades alone!
I meant foil darn auto correct lol
Right on trend with the red family. It will be interesting to do a palette comparison with mod ren, etc. when C has this up. Got psyched when Michele wanted it, then read on…. Prob not a good choice for me, if the mattes are iffy. The top row looks rather chunky in pan, as if it is glittery, not shimmery. ‘Trying Too Hard’ palettes aren’t always the best choice in my age bracket. Very appealing, though. All the Huda consumer reviews for previous Sephora offerings are very mixed. Almost sounds like batch issues, rather than taste/preferences.
I think you nailed it for me: trying too hard. I was sitting on the fence on this one being ott red obsessed, but the heavy shimmer almost glitters are not my thing and I read something about needing to pick up shadows with a finger.. not my thing either. But it’s definitely purdy to look at.
Although it would have been nice to wait for the VIB Rouge sale on Friday, I didn’t want to chance it selling out. I ordered it first thing this morning! I hope it’s as nice as it looks.
I know this isn’t really a valid point when every brand’s formulations are different but this just looks so similar with the ABH renaissance palette & the new Natasha Denona one, it seems super derivative.
This puppy has been getting very mixed reviews, as in just 2 categories: Love it or Hate it. I’m pretty set with my ABH Mod Ren, glittery pink/red/ brown in my UD Moondust, etc. So this is not a huge must-have in my mind. Still curious to see your take on it anyway!
Does anyone think this would be a good palette to get if you’ve been eyeing ABH’s Modern Renaissance but wanted a little more out of it? I feel like this has everything it has, and a little more, but I don’t want to buy it until we can see a review.
Not worth the hype…stick to Anastasia Beverly Hills RENAISSANCE goes on like butter..HudaBeauty Rose Gold Pallet over priced, cheap packaging… don’t waste your money…..also not vegan….shame on you HudaBeauty for sub par product.
