Oh no! What a terrible awful amazing idea! I don’t much care for the amethyst palette – the purples are all too pink-toned and I own an amethyst and it’s not – nor do I really like ruby or topaz. But the emerald one looks pretty for all the people screaming that they need more green shadows.

Hmmm – bit of a missed opportunity with the emerald palette I think. People have been crying out for a green colourway, but at first glance this looks to be much more teal/tuquise leaning than olive/khakhi. Although the colours are still lovely we could have stood to have seen more of a range of flattering green tones.

Still quite an exciting collection though! I will be picking up a few of these as Xmas gifts.

I am one of those people that was begging for green shadows and I completely agree with you. Total missed opportunity here. The more swatches I see on YouTube the more disappointing this palette appears. We asked for greens, not Carribean Teams. The Emerald has no blue hues in it. Its a deep green isn’t it?

While I’m super excited for these, I am a touch disappointed that the “emerald” palette is so teal/mint — I feel like there are fewer true green and olive eyeshadows available than teals or mints, so this doesn’t fill the gap in my collection like I thought it might before I saw the swatches.

And though there are two olives thrown in, they’re both so dark (and clash so strongly with the vibes of the other shades) that I wouldn’t be creative enough to make a Look with the olives unless I pull in colors from other palettes. :/

That topaz palette, though! Such a wide variety of mattes to complement the shimmers! Hoping for some good scores!

Kimberly Clark called this in an anti-haul! She said she wanted a ridiculous palette along the lines of unwearable couture; she specifically said “12 crazy green eyeshadows.” Wooo!

Lol…I love her anti-hauls and I get what she’s saying. But this emerald palette is screaming to me!

I love greens and I don’t have anything like these shades in my collection. It definitely isn’t a stand-alone palette, but I think I can do some beautiful looks just by adding in a neutral, like MAC Kid or Malt.

I’m so excited to get this. And to top it all off, I have a $25 Sephora gift card that someone gave me for my birthday!

Lol! I would buy a 12 green crazy palette in a whim and use the **** out of it. It just have to be good. Nobody needs colors that turn muddy and go nowhere 😉

Love it!!! Green is tricky for me, but I don’t care.. need Emerald! Also will probably pick up the Amethyst palette. Pending reviews, of course. Looks like some cooler shadows here. The Sapphire and Ruby palettes look more dupeable in my stash. The topaz is complete hard pass. I’m very excited and hope they review well.

Aaack!!!! I want too many of these! It’s been so long since I’ve seen palettes with so many blues, purples, and greens! I have the Mauve Obsessions palette, it’s not very mauve, but it creates the most stunning red shadow combos, hoping these are just as good.

I love the mauve palette color wise but I am not sure to buy it or not because temptalia gave it a not so good review. Does it perfom well? I care about the blendability and creasing the most.

Evelin, I think there were QC batch issues, as mine swatched well on the arms without primer, much better than Christine’s. I have oily lids, one hooded too, so use primer, but had no issues with wear or creasing. Hopefully you can buy from a place that allows returns if it doesn’t work out

Thank you 🙂 I’ll give it a try at some point. I want all the huda beauty obsessions palettes except of the orange/warm ones and the green one. I am going to buy all the others eventually.

Anxiously awaiting your reviews/dupes for these so I can know whether they’re worth my coin! Right now I’ve got my eye on emerald, ruby and topaz (although I feel a bit suckered into liking topaz because that’s my birthstone).

Oh wow, the sapphire palette looks beautiful! I’ve strayed away from palettes into single eyeshadows the past year but that sure is tempting…

I actually thought these might be photoshopped “dream” items instead of actual palettes, given how many people have been wanting more green and purple palettes for years without any response from companies.

I have light blue eyes with fair/warm undertones so many of these colors won’t be particularly “flattering”, but I am excited to see all of the amazing looks that people come up with using these!

That’s exactly what I thought! I assumed they were like Christine’s photoshopped urban decay palettes. If that emerald one is rated b or above and doesn’t mean too blue, I will buy it first chance.

I don’t have any of the Huda pallettes, but I definitely need the Emerald pallette because I love green eyeshadow, and Emerald is my birthstone. The others all look beautiful also.

I don’t need them, but I kind of want to get the Emerald and Sapphire palettes just to support the idea of brands releasing palettes in colors other than orange, brown, and red tones.

IDK. Think I might haul the Sydney Grace No Joke bundle, which was developed as a reaction to the Tarte April Fools Icy Betch vapor palette. It might cover both the blue and the green Hudas, grossly. Michele and Rachael R have spiked my interest in the indies.

I hope that the folks wanting a green palette now will have something. None of these really appeals to me and I was not wowed by the quality of the Mauve Obsessions palette, which is the only Huda that I own.

These look lovely! I don’t tend to wear green or blue but the other 3 look right up my alley. Dangit!

I think the Emerald one is the most interesting to look at though… I hope everyone clamouring for green themed palettes is excited, I think it looks really lovely!

You know I’m hoping one day you’ll get to do a collab and release those colour schemes you have made earlier because I swear I would buy your eye shadow palettes in a heart beat. You picked out all the shades of greens and purples I naturally gravitate for.

Finally a green palette! I feel like it’s not green ENOUGH, but given the slim pickings in that shade range I may check this one out depending on how it rates.

If the quality is good I will take one of each (except the blue). I hope the mattes are good because I had some issues with a couple of the mattes in the other Obsessions palettes. Fingers crossed.

Oh wow – this is what we were talking about when speculating what UD’s next options were for their Naked range and Huda has completely jumped into the fray with these gorgeous options. I really hope that they are good. I am definitely eyeing off the Emerald palette – so long waiting.

Thank you Tarte for your April Fool’s palette, because look, an Emerald Palette has arrived! Okay, so perhaps I have enough green eyeshadows, purple and teal too, but if this Emerald Palette works out? It will be mine! 💚

I really love these little palettes they are the perfect size I have the eclectic and sparkly one.

I too want the green and the blue! I love green and blue together. Warm colors and purple I have too much of.

::Excited::

I do not want to support Huda beauty, but boy, she makes it difficult to resist! The emerald palette looks like what we’ve been waiting for.

I’ve been screaming begging and praying for more purple and greens.
And there they are! I have to agree with some fellow make up lovers here, the purple palette leans (too) pink, the green (too) teal, but al least… gawwwdddd… if these are good, they will be so beautiful to pair up.

Before I buy I will await the reviews, knowing it’s hard to make a good purple or green.

Happy for now!

Wow what sorcery! Huda’s swatches are all identical on each skin tone.
Photo manipulation aside, I love the idea at the price point and think especially the green will do well. I like what she’s done here. People have wanted this for years and stubborn companies refused to oblige.

I am dying for the purple one!!! Oh my God! She could bring other purple palettes with different tones and I would but them all! I like the pinkish red one too, it is a good way to get all those redish intense colors in one small palette for when you need a fiery look! I love blue but I feel that a sky blue and a periwinkle blue instead of the 2 similar blues would be better.
