How satisfied are you with the products you currently own?
Very happy! I am in want of nothing and have access to lots of incredible products, but over the last three or four years, I have been moving a lot more product out within weeks of publishing a review, even if I love it. Sometimes, I think I should just pick and choose certain shades but the realistic part of me knows that it’s so unlikely I’ll revisit much of what I’d want to keep anyway!
Very satisfied. I do not have any areas which are under represented and I am very happy with my core products. I switched up or added a few last year; always being game to try something, but tend to do so less readily than in the past.
I love my makeup collection (and skincare too). Not everything is perfect and there are a few real clunkers but, overall, I just enjoy it so much. I have more than I need and more than I could ever even hope to finish up if I live to be 100 (I’m getting close….to 100, that is, not to using up stuff) but wearing it, using it and having it really does bring me enjoyment.
I thought I was the only one to think that. Ever time I say enough is enough something gets released that is irresistible. I do wait now to read reviews here and check YouTube videos instead of buying the latest cult product that ends up being totally inappropriate.
I would have to say that I am quite satisfied with what I have! Hardly any real “misses” within my stash, which I would have to admit I owe a debt of gratitude to both this site and several very trustworthy YT’ers. I’ve been spared disappointment many times. And even when something hasn’t worked well for me, 95% of the time it’s my own fault for not waiting for reviews or for not considering how it would work with my own complexion/coloring/undertone as opposed to the different reviewers. Which is why I do always try to see how shades look on Tara Lynn or Alicia Archer (previously known as kinkysweat). I’m only a shade lighter than either one of them, so those are excellent models for how things could look like on me. And your site gives me excellent and very honest reviews, as do theirs.
I am quite happy with my small curated makeup collection. I’m satisfied with how it’s structured, but I would want to switch a couple of eyeshadows and blushes; I’ll go back to repurchasing old favorites for a couple of shades, I picked up different products just for the sake of trying something new… but it’s not my journey… They’re not bad enough to not wait to expires, but in the last years I’ve learned that I am satisfied with old favorites.
VERY satisfied in the area of color cosmetics! I don’t really need to buy anything this year in that arena.
Currently dissatisfied in the area of mascara and skincare. I’ve been trying to find new faves in both of those categories, preferably on the more affordable end.
VERY happy with haircare, too! The products that my new stylist recommended this summer really make my hair look great. I did run out of the shampoo she sold me and started using another one I got in a gift basket, and my hair doesn’t look as good, so I guess it’s back to the salon to get the good stuff soon!
I am very happy with the makeup products I own. I buy wisely, after reading reviews here and I use what I have in my stash. Over the past few years I have been steadily moving back to neutral eye palettes, as I use them all year round. I have a couple of colourful palettes to provide the pops of colour, when I want to add something to my eye looks.
I have culled my lipstick collection to those shades that work best on me and my preferences have changed over the years to more mid tone spicy shades, rather than darker lipsticks.
I am in the process of adding an extra foundation to my collection – I only have two and will probably add in another blush shade once The Balm’s Hot Mama runs out.
I’m very happy with my small collection, everything fits into a Saxborga case which helps me focus on what’s important to me–just having basic products that enhance. That’s the look I go for.
Very and don’t need more. Seems like nothing new under the sun, so even if I see a couple of colors (usually eyeshadows or lipstick) that catch my eye, I know I either have it, something very close or don’t need it.
I am so particular in what I purchase now, I research everything before I make a purchase. My collection is complete unless something unusual comes along that I am lacking.
Very happy with my small collection, I’ve worked hard on a versatile beauty routine. Discovering new mineral sunscreens, tinted moisturizer and concealers that play well together is always a plus! 🙂
I’m quite satisfied, I do have too much though, and I do feel a need for once again going through my eyeshadows. There are palettes I hardly ever use but I always think I’d miss them if I tossed them.
I’m half way though my lipsticks now, trying them all for one day each, tossing what I don’t like anymore and keeping what I like.
I don’t need to buy anything this year, but I’ll probably get a lipstick or two and maybe some eyeshadows. I still need to replace my favourite eye brow pencil, but other than that I don’t need anything.
I think I’m not even going to have to buy any skincare for a long time, what I’ll probably need though is a new perfume. A good thing I can now read reviews on quite a few here, ones I’ve never even heard of. I will buy small testers first though.
I’m satisfied with what the products I have, although there are still some things I’d like to get!
I love what I have and definitely don’t NEED anymore. That being said I’m realizing that I’m pretty much a collector of pretty makeup; I get so much joy from looking at it and swatching it. I would love to find a liquid foundation that works for me but so far that hasn’t happened.
