How often do you get a pedicure in the summer?
How often do you get a pedicure in the summer? Do you get it done or do it yourself?
Probably every two to three weeks, and I almost always do it myself!

Hi!
I get the pedicure by the beautician one time each two month.
I aim for biweekly, but sometimes it winds up being once a month. I prefer to pay for them- its my moment to relax ( and that massage chair is EVERYTHING to me). In fact , I just got a fresh pedicure yesterday 🙂
Same here, except I go once monthly. I definitely prefer to pay for them as well. I am a busy wife/mother, so my monthly pedicures are my chance to unwind and indulge in some “me” time. I LOVE my salon and look forward to that monthly alone time and massage!
I always get them done *g* I get one at the beginning of summer, to get my feet and heels (which are awful) into shape for the summer, and then I try to go about once a month to every six weeks after that, but what usually happens is I forget about it until I have an event I have to go to and get a pedicure for that. But I usually do shellac polish on my toes, and that stuff lasts a *really* long time, so it’s just my heels I have to worry about.
Every two weeks and while I used to go to the salon exclusively, I find I prefer and enjoy taking the time to do it myself.
Do it myself about once a month!
I usually get one professionally done at the beginning of the summer. I like it to help make sure all my nails are even and smooth. After that, I do them myself once the nails are pretty much chipped. Usually every 3-4 weeks.
But if I’m going on vacation or somewhere where I know I’m going to wear a lot of sandals, I usually get one done a day or two before I leave.
I’ll get a real one at the start of summer (I’m going tomorrow!) to get rid of dead skin but then mostly just change the polish myself every three or four weeks after that.
Polish usually lasts forever and a day on my toes (and I usually forget to do one when I’m painting my finger nails) so maybe ever 3-4 weeks (that’s regardless of season).
If I get a regular polish, every 2 weeks. When I was getting Minx, I was going like every 6-7 weeks. Those last forever on my toes.
I do my own once a month. A little late on May as it’s been cool but I’m doing my first on this weekend which will last till the end of June. So it usually May, June, July, August, and maybe September depending on the weather. Basically sandal season only for polish.
I try to every month or so…but i think regardless of the time of year, its a treat that should be done as often as possible!! I live in Phoenix, so I am always barefoot or in flip flops- that’s why I try to get them as often as i can!! 🙂
Every 3 or 4 weeks. I always get them at a salon, but usually the $15 quickie kind. Once a season, if I have the cash, I’ll do a spa pedicure at a nice salon.
I change my polish every week-chlorine and sand do a number on my polish- I always do it myself-God help me when I can’t reach my own toes 😉
I do my own pedicure about every 2 weeks. I don’t go to a spa to have a pedicure too often, but I want to start going more.
Once a week and i do it myself! my nails groe so fast and i love changing colors!
I do it myself once a week. I use scrub, creams and socks !
About every two weeks and I usually leave polish off for 24-48 hours so that my nails can come up for air. I do my own pedicures.
I get them done every 2-3 weeks in sandal season, which, where I live, is about 9 months out of the year. In the winter, I tend to get one about every 4-6 weeks.
A professional pedicure, once a month in summer (I’d love to go more often but it’s a question of time and they’re pricey too). I will sometimes change my polish in between (even if I’m not a the lake, I am at yoga several times a week and like my toes to look pretty). I love pedicures and find them so relaxing. I prefer them to manicures.
I have a pedicure every two weeks, year-round, but in fall and winter, it’s always a DYI project. Once the warm weather starts and I can start wearing sandals (usually in May) I’ll have a professional pedicure once a month (so every month I alternate between a pro pedicure and one I do myself).
About every two or three weeks and I do it myself and change my nail color, particularly summer when I will be wearing sandals. I have never had a pedicure at a salon I only go there to get haircuts and maybe style my hair if I´m going to an important event so in both cases I really don´t go often. Also nail polish lasts forever on my toes.
Every week or so and I always do it myself. I use Aquaphor on my feet and toes every day so I never get dead skin buildup even in the winter. I highly recommend it!
I just do my own. Toes are what quick dry polish was made for, and done well it will last. I find that working over my feet with a file every day or two in the shower works better than waiting for somebody else to do it anyway. But that’s the real work part- I go get my feet done a few times a summer with friends, it’s like going to lunch.
I’ve never had a pedicure!
Every two weeks at the salon, then I change the polish at least once a week on my own. Wearing sandals every day, in the South, your toes are always showing, so I like to keep them very nice. Seeing them all the time, I get bored with the color, as well.
I get one pedi professionally done in the beginning of spring and then I maintain it myself the whole summer
I splurge and get it done professionally the first couple of times during the late spring/early summer to get my feet in shape- then take over doing it myself every couple of weeks.
Not as often as I should…
Every 3 weeks
Professional pedicures about every six weeks during the summer. I do weekly maintenance myself.
I have a fierce nail polish collection and I do my nails myself every 3-4 days and my toes every 2 weeks.
I give myself pedicures all year round and It’s probably every 3-4 weeks. I never go to nail salons, too paranoid of germs…
Usually every 2-3 weeks or sooner if I come across a fab color and just have to change! Hang onto your money for a lovely summer time cocktail ladies!
