How many foundations do you own?

I usually use two. One for everyday and another higher end one for going out and stuff 🙂

I have about 2 liquids, 1 stick and 2 minerals

I have seven that I rotate through and/or mix and about 10 additional once that I don’t use or use once in a blue moon.

None!!! I don’t use foundation( I don’t like the heavy feel on my face), just concealer and translucent powder, and of course blush. I will probably buy one now for summer, I think I will buy one from Clinique, their products are not crazy expensive and they are good for your skin, which is something I really like from their brand,so we will see how it goes…LOL =-)

I have two: a sally hansen one that I don’t use because it makes me look like Geisha) and another Anna Sui one I use when it’s cool and dry as it turns blotchy with the tiniest bit of oil…

LOL. I technically have two, but I don’t like and never use one of them (I actually got it from a sponsored blog giveaway). I have samples of four others, two of which I’ve been wearing on a daily basis for the last two weeks or so trying to decide between, so I’m pretty sure I’ll have 3 very soon… but it’ll be a liquid and the other one I use is mineral makeup.

I don’t own any foundation because i don’t wear it!

Too many? I have three fluid ones and two powder mineral ones. I use them all on different occasions. When my skin breaks out I use either mineral powder foundations for light coverage or bb cream for heavy coverage. When my skin dries up like a desert I use a tinted moisturizer, when I go partying and dancing I want a fluid one with heavier coverage so you dont see me blushing from all the dancing (and drinking) lol

MAC studio fix powder + foundation, MSF natural, MAC face and body foundation, 2 BE foundations, MUFE mat velvet+, sample of Stila oil free natural finish foundation, and I had that new mineralize creme foundation from MAC, but I returned it…so all in all 7!

I have MAC Mineralize compact foudation, MAC Select fluid foundation and NARS Sheer glow foundation 😉
I have also Lily Lolo mineral foundation but I don’t use it!

Sadly I do not use it because it is the wrong shade. 🙁

My first instinct was to say only one, but that’s likely not true. I’m sure I have abandoned half used bottles of foundation floating around my room that I’ve managed to forget are there. But typically I don’t buy foundation until I’ve used up whatever I’m currently using. Foundation and concealer are among the few beauty products I’m unlikely to buy on impulse and since I wear the same stuff day in and day out, I’m unlikely to buy some new foundation I run across out of curiosity or on a whim like I do with lip or eye makeup. I’m very fickle when it comes to eyeshadow, liner, mascara, lipstick, and lipgloss (and to a lesser extent, blush), but I’m very steady when it comes to foundation. I like to find one type that works best for me and stick with it.

Hi. I have 2 at the moment. One is getting lots of use and one is old news.

Just two really. I use Benefit Hello Flawless when I want light coverage but my staple is Clinique Even Better which I use most everyday because it’s moderate-full coverage.

My skin colour doesn’t change through the year because I make sure to keep out of the sun (what little there is here in the UK) so I don’t need summer & winter shades.

I am on the lookout for a new foundation though because my Clinique is nearly finished. I sampled MAC Studio Fix Fluid but I hated the smell. Next I’m going to try Nars Sheer Glow but if that doesn’t work I’ll just repurchase my Clinique one

I also have a tinted moisturiser that I sometimes wear at weekends but I don’t count that as foundation

1! Its works so well i cant imagine using a different one. its MAC studio fix powder foundation

I have 3 bottles of liquid foundation – Guerlain Parure Extreme, Bourjois Healthy Mix, and Anna Sui Moisturizing Foundation. The first 2 are for Spring/Summer/Fall, last one is for winter.

I also have a few powder foundations, like Chanel and Jill Stuart ones that I use for touch ups or for days I’m feeling really lazy…

I have three, all from Bedhead Cosmetics and I use them all.

I have three. 2 of them are light and i use them in winter and one has a little bit darker shade that i can use in summer. 😀

I own two a MAC Studio Fix liquid and a Foundation Stick (which I haven’t used in ages). I try not to buy so many foundations but once Studio Fix finishes, I’ll either repurchase an MSF or look into other brands like NARS, Becca or MUFE. Too many foundations would overwhelm me.

I’ve got four which I use regularly, two powder mineral and two liquid. I use them depending on season (summer= a bit darker skin tone) and coverage( medium for day and full for evening).

I have two that I switch around for work and non-work days. But then I have another (I think) in storage that I don’t use.

I have about 4 I use on a regular basis and one I use in the short summers we have here in Canada. I love trying out new foundations though. The next one I’m eying is Diorskin Nude

Technically 4 but they are use to create 3… I have nars sheer matte, revlon photo ready, korres vitamins and revlon colorstay. I mix the nars and the colorstay together with moisterizer…. one was from halloween, one was the sale lady talked me into it and they are both for oily skin which i do not have….Photoready and the korres are awesome tho 🙂

I only own 2, before that just one. I used to only use Mac Studio Fix Pressed Powder foundation, but recently I’ve started using Prescriptives Virtual Matte Satin Finish foundation. I picked it up at the CCO super discoutned and so far I like it. Its much heavier than my StudioFix, for one b/c its a liquid foundation and I typically use powders. I’ve always been hestitant to use liquid foundations, because of my oily skin, but the Prescriptives does really well on my skin. I hear Prescriptives went out of business, so I’m not sure what I’ll purchase once I run out of it.

2. A mineral powder foundation for when I need more coverage in the summer and a liquid for the winter. I RARELY wear them though! I usually just use my concealer on the areas that I need to even my skintone and powder over it.

I only own one and that is bcuz I have sensitive and acne prone skin. I love foundation but many aren’t suitable for my skin type. I get horrible breakouts from some foundations where I cant even leave the house.
Any suggestions on what foundations to use? I heard excellent reviews on diorskin nude but dont know if someone with my skin can use it. Please help!

6 total: a MAC Studio Fix and a backup; Studio Sculpt; Select SPF15 foundation and a backup; and Loose Mineralize Foundation. I think I’m set for foundations for at least another year 😉

I have 3 but one I use on lazy days when I’m actually going somewhere but not important, like the store. The other is if I’m going somewhere important like the movies and the last one is oil free, which I use on my forehead and my nose.

I have 1 bottle of Revlon Color Stay, 1 bottle of Revlon Photo Ready, 1 tube of Mary Kay liquid and a bottle of MAC Studio Fix Fluid (which I can’t use anymore due to 🙁 breakouts) I should back to MAC this one..hmmm ..lol.

i have 6 and thought i was mad until i read everyone’s responses…!

three of them are not a very good match for my skin anymore since they are from when i was more tan (and lived in a country with sunlight), but hopefully one day they will be cycled back into use.

i’m hoping to try out a new foundation either one by ellis faas or one from illamasqua, but i’m making myself finish one of the current set first! it takes me a really long time to use up foundations…i think my select cover one is from two years ago or something!

I don’t know. I’m guessing about 5 kinds of foundation, but I have back ups for a few (I do that, I like something, buy back ups, then find something I like better, buy back ups, etc.). 🙂 Currently using Givenchy Photo’perfection and Maybelline Dream matte foundations (not at the same time, lol).

I have two – Revlon Colorstay in my winter shade and Tarte ReCreate in my summer shade. I mix the two to get my perfect shade any time of the year.

I am only going to count the ones I actually use – Shu Uemura face architect liquid and Laneige Dual Foundation!

I have 4 Mac foundations, 3 Guerlain, 1 YSL, 4 Lancome and 1 Clinique. My definate least favorite is the Mac Mineralized Satinfinish….have you had any problems with this foundation making you look like a discoball???

…All drugstore (simply because I don’t have the heart to splurge so much), but I rotate between them.

At least 7 And only 3 of them are a perfect match for my skin. The others I have to mix with a white foundation to make them wearable.

I have four. MAC Studio Finish Powder Foundation. MAC Mineralize Skinfinish (IDK if this counts), Prescriptives Custom Blend powder and a Prescriptives pressed powder. I don’t wear liquid foundation because I sweat on my nose and upper lip no matter the season.

Two. I only use one, though.

oh, well, right now I have 5 liquid, three samples, two mineral powder foundations and one tinted moisturizer. I change colour SO much!!

I have 1 pressed powder, 1 liquid, 2 cream and one mineral foundation.
and I never had more! will finish one of the cream foundation soon!

I have 7, yet I hardly ever use them. I use my bare minerals matte often. Otherwise I just use concealer and MAC Studio Fix Powder.

Powder, liquid, mineral, stick combined would be about 25 or so foundations. I have so many because I kept buying instead of asking for samples first and also because I like experimenting with different types of foundations. Right now I am loving MAC Studio Fix Fluid.

Many. Too many! But my favourites at the moment are MAC mineralize SPF 15 & Studio Fix Fluid (NW20).

I have one, MAC Face and Body which i love. Two, if MAC MSF Natural is categorized as a foundation. I like Face and Body because i can use it everyday and when im going out. I use it like a concealer for everyday use then more product when I go out. I dont buy foundation all the time, if i do and it doesnt match me i usually give it away. I dont like keeping stuff that i dont use.

Covergirl clean makeup in oily/combination (it’s practically new, but I don’t use it quite often ’cause it’s such a pain to take some off the bottle!)

MAC Studio Fix Fluid (I only use this one on special ocassions and summer, it’s a little dark for me)
