A big drawer in my antique desk my parents left to me! There’s a ton in a larger sneaker box and a regular box too! I know that I need to downsize because there are no more spots to put any new ones! LOL ??

I have an acrylic riser thing for most of my Essie nail polish that sits up on my desk (though has lived in a drawer in the past) and in front of that because I have too much nail polish I have 2 rows of my Butter London polishes (6 fullsize and 8 smaller ones to be exact). Link for the riser here: http://www.containerstore.com/s/bath/cosmetics-organizers/40-bottle-acrylic-nail-polish/12d?productId=11000164

I also have a few odds and ends in terms of nail stuff I keep in the bottom drawer of my Alex 5 where I keep spare brushes and my travel makeup bag. Mostly stuff like angled liner brushes for cleaning up manicures, some nail art tools, a pot of Lush’s Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter, and a few extra nail polishes that didn’t fit into the acrylic thing and some individual ones from different brands that I’ve gotten in grab bags or subscription boxes or as point perks and such.

They’ve kind of piled up since I got sick as I can’t paint my own nails, but hopefully that will change soon as I’ve avoided opening any since then so they don’t go off.

Ummm….. the lid to an old cardboard paper box? I think I’m going to have to dump most of them because a) I have 903 zillion and I rarely even paint my nails and b) they’re all at least 1.5+ years old. It’s sad because some of them are a tad bit on the pricier side (OPI, Essie, etc) but honestly the clutter is starting to make me anxious.

Kat, don’t worry, 1.5 years is still fine! They don’t go bad for quite a few years, they may get thicker or gloppier though. When mine do, I just add a little nail polish thinner to them, shake ’em up, and voila! Good as new! I have way too many myself; it’s addictive!!! LoL

I use an old fashioned train case–a hard sided makeup case. That way I grab one thing and am ready to do my nails. In the box I store the color I am currently wearing (I don’t change often), base coat, top coat, nail files, nail polish remover, etc. I can really do my nails anywhere. I usually do it sitting at my kitchen island watching the TV in the family room.

Ikea spice racks. They come in a light regular color so it was easy to paint them to match my bedroom. I have 5 of them placed on top of each other next to my beauty cabinet. It looks amazing!

Also Helmers, lol – I learned about it being amazing for nail polish storage from all the beauty bloggers praising it! *g*

I also have a purple faux leather OPI case. I keep my nail care items and top/base coats in there, mostly. The stuff I use all the time for most manicures so I don’t have to remember which drawer they’re in.

I have a black, metal spice rack with a scroll design hanging on the wall next to my vanity. It holds around 50 bottles of polish. The rest of my polish is stored in a huge basket — along with all of my nail art, emery boards, buffers, etc — in one of my vanity cabinets.

I bought a few of those acrylic wall hanging shelves, like the ones they use in nail shops. I have them hanging on the wall behind my bedroom door. That way I can see all of them at once.

Spice racks! I have two pretty wrought-iron looking spice racks on the wall holding my higher-end nail polishes. The rest of the nail polish stuff is in a shoebox size rubbermaid tub in my nightstand.

I’m still working out how to store my newest stuff – I’m pretty much using all Jamberry wraps combined with gel polish these days. Right now I have most of the wraps in a photo album, but need a bigger one. The gel polish probably will get it’s own tote, soon, or I may empty a row on the spice racks for it since my room stays pretty cool and dark all the time. I’m sure it’ll eventually take over, and all the regular polish will go somewhere else.

Old makeup bags I don’t use anymore. Instead of getting rid of them , it’s a perfect way to reuse them. Also, I put my bagged nail polish in the bottom drawer of my nightstand.

Sounds like many of you are storing vast amounts of polishes. How can you have so many bottles of polish with the polish getting sticky? I have to throw bottles out after a year because the polish is sticky and gummy.

I have 8 acrylic bins like the more square one in this link: http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/interdesign-reg-zia-stack-and-slide-basket/3252485?categoryId=12208

Except mine have a metal fold-down carry handle. They’re extremely stackable, so they only take up the space of two, total (they’re stacked in two columns, four high). I have one for each major color group, plus one for tools, accessories, nail art extras, etc. I can fit around 30 polishes in each bin if they’re neatly arranged in a single layer. If Idon’t mind piling them up, I can fit another 20 and still stack the bins just fine. Love them.

Right now they r in a tray on a shelf in my room beauty room. But I saw on you tube a cpl of video that they made nail polish shelves out if core board and hit glue it together. Then can use duct tape to pretty it up. The kind with patterns and decor on it. So my hubby and I r going to try to make the shelf and it’s very inexpensive. Supplies from the Dollar Tree. Core board especially. Duct tape from Walmart. I have glue gun and lots if glue sticks from other projects. Hopefully getting it made this week. U need exact I knife to cut up the core board. Takes three sheets. Can’t wait to see how it turns out. It has several shelfs like the clear plastic ones.

I have a 96 bottle rack on a shelf in my linen closet. My shades are organized by color from lightest to darkest with my base coat and top coat as the first bottles. I also keep my cotton balls and polish remove to the left and my decals, guides, and art brushes to the right.

I use one of my Ikea Alex drawers for my nail polish and all nail-related products. Really there’s room to grow if I wanted to in that drawer, but I don’t think I’ve put anything except clear polish in over a year, so I’m planning on downgrading to leave me more room for makeup.

Oh, I feel like such an amateur!
I have mine in my bookcase, in front of the books, on two of the shelves. They are separated by brands. I used to have them in the lid and the bottom of a cardboard box, but I had to lift them to see the colours, this way, though not ideal, I just have to lift a few. At most there are three rows. The shelves are 80 cm.

I have my ton of polishes and nail wraps organized by color family in a Black, Ikea Samla large plastic bin. I was amazed it all fit into one container, granted it just fit. Storing them like this until I can put up a wall mounted rack in our next apartment. Can barely put up picture frames in my current one as the walls are so thick.
