If it’s a short trip with a carry-on bag, I don’t want to lug my Clarisonic around. So I put my 2 favorite cleaners into 2 small jars. I put Hado Labo Tokyo Hydrating Cleanser on my damp face, and rub in a little bit of the Neutrogena Body Clear Wash in Pink Grapefruit, let it set for 1-2 minutes, then rinse it off with warm water. The Hado is gentle, and the Neutrogena is fantastic for dissolving dirt/makeup and unclogging pores. It’s as clean as I can get without a Clarisonic.

Because I have a thing for using baby oil to remove my eye makeup, I always bring a travel size of that! And a travel packet of moisturizing facial cleansing wipes, or several in a Ziploc bag. At present, I still really like the cheap tea tree oil ones I bought at Forever 21.

When I don’t travel by plane, or I’m going to check in my luggage, I mean I don’t have limit to carry liquids, I use a travel size MAC Cleanse-off oil, but when I have to limit my liquids, I carry a little bit of The body shop camomille cleansing balm in a pot.

If I have a lot of eyeshadow on I remove it with Neutrogena eye makeup remover. Then I rub coconut oil over the rest of my face (it removes everything) and use a makeup wipe to remove it. Then I wash my face with Cetaphil or Cerave facial wash.

Various brands, but usually Neutrogena makeup remover wipes in a sealed package. The fewer liquids I have to deal with when traveling (especially flying), the better.

Depending on how long I’m staying. For shorter stays, Apolosophy Makeup Remover Pads and face wipes (whichever ones I have). For longer stays, I bring my regular remover (TBS Camomille Waterproof Makeup Remover), and face wipes!

I carry travel size containers of Chanel bi-phase eye makeup remover and Tatcha cleansing oil. In my purse, I carry a small packet of Simple cleansing wipes in case I need to touch up before landing.

I use clinique cleansing balm. I use it just like a cleansing oil and I don’t have to worry about it leaking in my carry on. Also a tiny bit goes a lot further than a cleansing oil does.

Better than when I’m at home, I’m far more consistent about it when I travel. The same as at home, first oil to dissolve the makeup and then whatever face wash I’m currently using. Not a fan of the wipes, I have to rinse in order to feel that my face is really clean and without residue. Then moisturize.

I used to bring neutrogena eye and lip makeup remover, which is basically the dupe for Lancôme bi facil, or I would just bring Lancôme when I have a travel sized bottle hanging around. But nowadays I am totally hooked on the makeup remover dual fiber wipe!

I massage Kate Somerville goat milk cleanser on my face to dissolve all makeup and use a hot damp face towel to wipe it off and exfoliate at the same time. I rinse the rest off with warm water. It’s a cream but feels like a cleansing oil on the skin.

If I’m feeling ambitious, I follow up with a foam cleanser but not really necessary.

removing my makeup is REALLY important for me, not just because i will break out like a 12 year old boy if i dont remove it, but also because i really hate ruining other people’s pillowcases, bedsheets, towels, etc. with my eyeliner mascara etc.
i bring: makeup remover wipes, my own face towel, my face cleanser (clean and clear in the purple tube). my neutrogena facial cleaner (the vibrating thing that cleans your face) and pads for it, my MAC volcanic ash exfoliator, my clearisil *(yes im 33 and still need clearasil)…. an eyemakeup remover (i like MACs remover), my brush cleaner (to wash my brushes), and i think that’s it. i usually put these items in a plastic bag inside my suitcase so they dont accidentally open and ruin my clothes.
i cant NOT take my makeup off before bed, my face feels itchy and i cant sleep.

I don’t find liquid oil travels well; I’ve tried it several times in the past and it always ends up leaking. So now I take micellar water to remove eye makeup, a cleansing balm to get the rest of the makeup off, and a cream cleanser for washing my face. All of which are either already in small bottles/jars (samples are awesome) or decanted into them. I also take a couple of cheap facecloths as some hotels only provide full size towels, and as they are so inexpensive I’m not fussed if I forget them! And I take cotton pads and Q-tips.

I normally bring travel size Lancome bi-facil or Clinique eye makeup remover for eye makeup. I can’t live without it!! For face I use remover wipes from MAC. Recently I fall in love with banila’s cleansing balm. I dig it out to put in a small jar and remove all the make up (including eye makeup!)

If it’s a long flight, I have body shop’s Tea Tree Facial wipes in my bag. then wash my face. I still bring my makeup remover in travel size bottles but I always place them inside the check-in luggages. I never dare to bring liquids on board.

I just bought a lil MAC travel sized cleansing oil since I’m currently on a lil weekend vacay/ shopping trip with my mom! I usually rely on samples of oil cleansers etc. but I either didn’t bring enough or don’t really have any at home (I’m really trying to get through a lot of samples I’ve accumulated over the years!). I typically still like to double cleanse even on vacation.
