Solar looks like fun for summer! It reminds me of a really old Revlon slim style glossy lipstick I used to wear during summer, especially after a day at the shore, because we usually either went on the boardwalk or out to dinner. Perfect for that!
You have my attention, Hourglass.
Some nice shades here! I do think, though, that Hourglass is confused as to what color “mauve” really is.
Provoke does seem vaguely mauve on the darkest skintone, but that’s as close as it gets. There isn’t a single swatch in the range I’d call true “mauve.”
Yassss!
Iām feeling the peachy vibes!!
They need to invent one that lasts longer.
Boy I hate the shape of this packaging. Iām probably the minority there though. Also looks like it comes with a very small amount of product compared to a typical gloss for a high cost, typical of Hourglass lip products!
I find this collection to be a bit overwhelming, far too many shades (and some similar to each other).
I like it when brands choose to promote new shades for a new collection.
Interesting … the “neutrals” arm has a very attractive range of useful nudes (though Child and Sublime are too close in appearance). The “non-neutrals” arm is a bit confusing; there appear to be gaps in the range. I can kinda see what they did (three lights, three mediums, three intense), but it’s inconsistent — the intense colors lean cool, and the medium colors lean warm, while the light ones have a more sensible distribution of cool to warm. Seems odd.
These look promising š I tend to use gloss a lot in the summertime, and there are some gorgeous colours here. I look forward to checking these out!
Iām not very familiar with Hourglass lipgloss. Does anyone know if these have a scent or flavor?
