MAC 239/Chikuhodo GSN-09 — I can apply my eyeshadow on the lid, in the crease, along the lash line, on the brow bone, or just for blending.
Thanks to May for today’s topic!
Probably shea butter, unrefined. I use it as hand cream, foot cream, lip balm, body lotion, to treat my eczema. Even eye cream for awhile, but that area is prone to getting bumps so I had to stop. Super hydrating!
I agree! I use it on my hair too! Very moisturizing.
Arbonne’s CC cream! It’s magic. It color corrects, moisturizes and primes my otherwise dry face. I wear it every day. I can wear it with just a finishing powder, just mineral powder and look good – or go all out and put everything over it.
My Madison Street Beauty Loose Bronzers. I can use them all over the lid, inner tear duct, brow bone highlight, and as a face highlighter.
A good concealer (NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer) so I can use it as concealer and as an eye primer for when I’m wearing neutral matte eyeshadows. Also a nice blush (NARS Boys don’t cry or MAC Frankly Scarlet) to use on my cheeks and as eyeshadow.
Tough one…part me wants to say “Nars Eye Paint” – it’s a liner, an eyeshadow or an eyeshadow base. Another part of me thinks “Nivea cream” (the stuff made in Germany) – great moisturizer for face and body, a lip balm, foot cream and I even smooth it onto the ends of my hair in a pinch.
Probably coconut or olive oil. I use both for my hair, skin and nails. They make a great cuticle oil, shower oil, hair conditioner, moisturizer, makeup remover, etc. The list really goes on and on lol.
Coconut oil for sure!
Coconut oil for me too. And shea butter
Lancome’s matte eyeshadow single in Tres Chocolat! I can use it:
-As a dark, fairly neutral brown eyeshadow on the lid or lash line.
-As a brow powder
-to set or smudge eyeliner, specifically my favourite UD Demolition
Not bad from one product, really!
Either that or the Collection NZ concealer – I can use it as concealer, eye primer or (basically) BB cream!
L’Oréal Sublime Sun Liquid Silk Lotion SPF 50; not only is it an amazing sunscreen, but it also doubles as a lightweight primer under foundation. It does contain silicones, so it helps fill in pores, but it doesn’t slide around or pill like some primers can. It also saves a step when getting ready in the morning, and although it is a sunscreen, I’ve used it at night as a primer, since it makes my foundation look so good!
MAC 109 brush. I like it for highlighting, contouring, blush, powder foundation..it’s awesome!
Grapeseed, olive and coconut oils. I use them in my hair for pre-poo treatment, hot oil treatments, deep conditioning and add them to my leave in treatments. They are impromptu makeup removers, skin and cuticle moisturizers. I also use them to cook: stir fry, egg white omelettes, baked goods and smoothies.
Cetaphil’s Rich Moisture Cream – I use it on my face, body, feet etc. Comes in a handy big tub and is very cost effective. Great for people with sensitive skins.
Bare Minerals Rose Radiance loose mineral all-over face color: Alternative to bronzer for adding color to the face, blush, can be swept on eyelids as an eyeshadow, dip lip balm in it for a lip tint, dab on top of lipstick for a different look, or mix with other loose minerals to color correct or create new colors. It can be applied to be barely there and built up to brighter pink.
Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips in Natural Nude Eyes. The colors work individually or swiped together in any combination for eyeshadows. The darker shades can be used as contour. The lighter shades work as highlighters. Lighter shades can be dabbed over lip color for highlight or sparkle.
Lately, I’ve been using the UD Pulp Fiction palette to contour my face, as eyeshadow (its intended purpose) to blend shades, as a Eyeshadow base, as eyeliner, to fill in my brows and highlight under the eyebrows and down the nose. It is extremely useful. I also use coconut oil to deep condition my hair and remove eye makeup.
Sibu Body Cream works for just about everything. I even put it in my hair sometimes! Other than that my RT Blending Brush for eyeshadow works for concealer, foundation, shadow, highlighter, and contour.
For me it is Mary-Lou Manizer these days. I use it for cheek highlight, brow bone highlight, eye lid and face highlight 🙂
Coconut oil!
