Estee Lauder, tender lipbalm.
Hands down, Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm. I am in love with the original mint flavor. I have these things everywhere, in my purse, on my desk, on my nightstand, etc. it is a little pricy but completely worth it.
Fresh Sugar in any of their great colors!
Clinique Long Last Glosswear SPF 15 in any of their colors!
Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25 in any scent, but I love the original Natural Mint.
This is such an important topic as people always forget SPF on their lips. I had to have a biopsy of a mark on my lips and then a plastic surgeon had to cut out a venous lake due to too much sun exposure on my lips.
The Jack Black line, hands down. They are FANTASTIC. I haven’t yet tried a flavor I haven’t liked, they are supremely moisturizing, and most importantly, there is no sunscreen smell to be found.
@crystallinity It doesn’t matter which scent they are, they are all amazing.
@crystallinity The fact that they don’t have a sunscreen smell or taste is my favorite thing about Jack Black! 😀
Another chime in for the Jack Black. I also really love the Fresh Sugar, although I have the “reddest” color and it’s a little intense for balm.
I also have to echo Jack Black. My husband turned me on to the product. I have very, very, very dry lips, and this stuff works-I love that I don’t have to reapply every hour, like other products I’ve used in the past.
Jack Black! I[‘m on a medication with dry mouth as a side effect so I get very dry lips, this stuff fixed it in two days! I never even knew my lips could look this good until I used this stuff. Get and guard it with your life, cause you will not want to lose it!
Like many people, I also use the Jack Black Lip Balm. I’m not sure I would say that it’s the BEST lip balm however I make do with what I have. As mostly just shea butter, the texture is rich withot being heavy. The finish is slightly more shiny that I’d like, especially for daytime wear. There are some antioxidants in the various versions (blackberry is my favorite; hate mint), and an adequate chemically-based sunscreen. But it’s relatively cheap, so that’s good!
I’m a big fan of Burt’s Bees-any of them. I find I get several hours of wear before having to reapply, and I can even wear lipstick on top. It’s inexpensive, available at nearly any US drugstore, and doesn’t contain parabens or petroleum products.
jack blackkkk or medicated blistex 🙂
Jack Black all the way! Lavender & Vanilla is my favorite 🙂
I like the MAC tinted lip conditioner and MAC tendertones for my tinted, delicious smelling lip balm needs, although they are only SPF 15 and SPF 12 (respectively). However, I figure that’s better than nothing.
Jack Black is still my favorite though =) The mint one!
Yet another vote for Jack Black lip balm! I honestly didn’t think it was going to live up to the hype but the first day I tried it I fell in love. It is by far the best lip balm I’ve ever tried, and I’ve tried many. Unfortunately, I despise the smell of them (with the exception of the shea butter and vitamin e one, but the only time it was available individually it sold out rather quickly). I really wish there was an unscented version. Right now I’m using the Lavender and Vanilla one and I think it smells like medicine. But I’m willing to put up with something that smells terrible if it works.
The shea + vitamin e is up on the site right now to buy individually! That’s my favorite one, too 🙂
JACK BLACK! Grapefruit & Ginger.
MAC TENDERTONES , smells amazing(not mac vanilla scented) and spf 12 i think.. mine was from the MAC SHOP/COOK MAC collection
The Jack Black Blackberry one is the best one for me 😉
Either Jack Black or Fresh – I like the Fresh because it’s tinted and sometimes I prefer lip balm to lip gloss, esp. if my lips are dry. But I love the feel of the Jack Black and I think it’s a better lip balm overall. I use both 🙂 (*Love* the JB mint. Haven’t tried other flavors, but I like the tingle I get from the mint.)
I need soy-free, gluten-free, shea-free, paraben-free, benzone-free lip balm which is really hard to find. The only one I’ve found so far is Yes to Carrots Pomegranate SPF 15 balm.
Jack Black Natural Mint, spf 25!
Badger Balm LIP BALMS. A-FREAKING-MAZING!!
Jack Black in the lemon flavour is my favourite! It’s super long-lasting and moisturizing.
Gotta vote for Burt’s Bees! My fave (replenishing) does not have spf, but several others do and they don’t have the chemical suncreen which I’m allergic to. The label has worn off the one I have…but it comes with an orange cap if that’s helpful. I also really like the tinted ones with spf.
#1 – Carmex Moisture Plus Ultra Hydrating Lip Balm Sheer Pink Tint SPF 15
» Moisturizing with bonus of gorgeous pink tint! I have all shades but pink is my fave, few strokes and it’ll look like sheer lipstick, not a tinted lip balm.
#2 – Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25 with Natural Mint & Shea Butter
» Super moisturizing, I love to layer this over lipstick rather than a clear gloss
#3 – Carmex Vanilla Ultra Moisturizing Lip Balm SPF 15
» When I feel like I need to rehydrate my lips but don’t want the pinkish tint or don’t want the hassle of Jack Black application (I tend to wear too much lip balm when it’s packed in the tube, totally my bad!) , I choose this one.
#4 – Ocean Potion Suncare Moisturizing Lip Potion SPF 45
» Too be honest, I don’t use it daily, it’s more like my “holiday lip balm” because of the high SPF but still provide great moisturizing effect.
Jack Black – love the lemon one – and Burt’s Bee. Have them in my purse, car, nightstand…..
E.L.F. SPF 15 Lip Balm in Rose. It feels really great on your lips and gives a nice pop of color too!
Jack Black lip balm in Mango Mandarin or Blackberry Black Tea =]
Jack Black lip balm is Ginger & Grapefruit!
I like the Vitamin E lip balm of The Body Shop. I know it’s flavorless but it works okay with me. Sometimes, I use the Nivea lip balm with SPF, too. Haven’t had any allergic reactions so far to these products.
