By far hands down the best face oil. I’ve never seen my face so smooth and glowing. My makeup looks amazing now with my skin so fresh underneath.

I didn’t believe the hype either so I bought the small size ($14 I think) of it to sample. it took my husband 1.5 months of daily use to finish and I’m going to buy the biggest size now.

I have oily/acne prone skin and I massage my face with 100% sweet almond oil before going to bed. It’s only been 2 weeks. So far so good!

NUDE Skincare ProGenius Treatment Oil. I LOVE this stuff. It has really made a difference with my skin. Since using it, my skins feels hydrated, glowing and fresh.

I have only used 2: Josie Maran’s Argan oil and Tarte maracuja oil. Both are good and I use one or the other every morning. I put 2 drops into one pump of my am moisturizer

The ELS (Every Lipid Serum) from Skin Actives is my number one choice for a facial oil. I use it at night several times a week in place of my usual routine. My face is very soft in the morning with no dryness or splotchiness . My second favorite oil is the RoseHips oil from SkinActives. I use this one with a light hand on face, neck and chest…often on upper arms as well. Best on damp skin. Very nourishing. I have “mature” skin and these work beautifully for me.

All the oils you can find at the grocery store, no need to spend a lot of money. I regularly use coconut, avocado, grapeseed, sweet almond, argan and rose hip.

Seconding this! Things like the Josie Maran are just over-priced versions of oil you can get MUCH cheaper. The Tarte oil is just passion seed oil!

I’ve been using Shea Moisture Organic Raw Shea Butter Baby Oil Rub w/ Argan Oil & Frankincense & Myrrh for nearly 2 years, and at 40 years old, I can’t remember my skin ever looking better. It’s basically the same as the brands “anti-aging” formula, but you get 4X the product at half the price. It contains pretty much every beneficial essential oil all in one product, so it saves a couple of steps in my routine. I typically use this at night, and jojoba oil in the morning, although in the warmer/more humid months, when I’ll use a “lighter” oil at night (ie, almond, maracuja, or jojoba).

I remove my makeup with coconut oil, and will apply additional argan oil on my forehead, and/or pure vitamin E oil around my eyes, as needed.

I LOVE this oil! I use it from head to toe and we are the same age. I use it on my children but I keep a hidden supply for myself. I do not want to be without this.

I haven’t been using face oils for long, but I currently use two: one from Yon-Ka and once from Safeas. I like both. I guess I still need to explore more to be able to really get a good idea of what is the best oil for me.

I mix equal parts of jojoba, sweet almond and coconut together and put it in a spray bottle. The coconut oil can be problematic in the winter because it’s a solid at room temperture. I just run the bottle under hot water and shake. I use it as a moisturizer and makeup remover.

I love Juice Beauty’s Organic Treatment Oil. It contains a blend of sunflower, olive, jojoba, and borage seed oil, among others. It hydrates and helps clear up my skin.

Plain old Grapeseed. It is fantastic stuff. I buy good quality cold pressed oil (living in a wine producing country has benefits!) and i use it to cleanse my skin, and moisturise at night.

I am quite new to face oil. Have tried Josie Maran’s Argan Oil, and I am really pleasantly surprised by how well it works on my oily combination skin!

I use only 3 drops at night (it is too oily for day use, I am considering getting the lighter version for daytime). Usually when I wake up in the mornings, I can see my rather deep laugh lines and before I started on argan oil, I had to do a face mask (My Beauty Diary’s Hyaluronic Acid paper mask), followed by a hydrating face lotion (Avene’s Moisturizing Lotion), then a sleeping mask (Laneige’s Water Sleeping Pack). It was really time consuming on a daily basis, and I am really glad this one step of applying only 3 drops of argan oil did the job of the other 3 products combined!!! Time and $$$ saved for sure. Heheh.

When I mentioned the laugh lines, I meant I used to have to do those 3 steps of masking, lotion and sleeping mask to lighten them up. Now with this argan oil, I am waking up with lightened laugh lines, which makes me a lot less distressed when I do my morning routines. I am not sure if argan oil can reverse the lines already there, but I like what I am seeing so far!

Pai’s Rosehip Oil all the way! My skin looks better than it has since I was a kid.

I bought it in June to soothe a fresh facial scar, but it ended up making my entire face look better. It helped with my hyper-pigmentation, minor breakouts, and is very moisturizing. I have also tried JM’s argan oil, Tarte’s maracuja oil, and plain old coconut oil, and the rosehip is by far my fave. The others just seemed to lie on my skin and didn’t seem to do much.

I am fond of argan and rose hip oil. They do wonders for the skin. I use Shea Terra Organics’ Argan & Rose Serum of Youth. The name is lame, but it’s a great mixture of oils: Moroccan argan oil (certified organic), South African rubiginosa rose hips oil (certified organic), evening primrose oil, seabuckthorn oil. It’s so silky smooth and hydrating. It gives my skin a glow. Every time I put it on and let it sink in a while, I get a lot of compliments on my skin, despite the fact that it’s far from perfect. It’s also great for soothing irritated skin. I love this serum/combination of oils sooo much.

I have been using RMS Beauty’s Beauty Oil for the last 6-8 months. It’s expensive, but it’s done wonders for my face. I will never go without it. It’s funny, I never would have thought putting oil on my acne-prone, oily skin would actually HELP it!

For a cleansing oil, Bare Face by Julep is absolutely amazing. It really gets all of the dirt and makeup off my face. For a moisturizing oil, I like Fresh’s Seaberry Face Oil. It keeps my dry skin hydrated and the bottle has lasted me through the year.

I use coconut oil from the grocery store. Works great for me (although it can be a little messy). I’ve used josie maran argan oil and still have some around the house. I liked that one too. But my skin gets so dry and the coconut oil just works better for me most of the time.

I’m really enjoying Clarins Lotus Oil. It really makes my skin feel soft and moisturized without being greasy. I have combination, reactive skin and this oil has not caused any breakouts. It’s also excellent for bringing spots (even those lumpy cysts under the skin) to a head and healing them super quick.

Hello,
I’ve never yet used any type of face oil. I’m a bit sceptical about it because I have oily/combination skin and my face is very oily in the mornings. Is there any type you can recommend for a first time user? I’m 31 years and live in a tropical country.
Thanks.
