Still haven’t found my Holy Grail Concealer…
I own the MAC Select Cover-Up, the Stila Perfecting Concealer, the Clinique All About Eyes concealer and the Bobbi Brown too. But even if they’re good, none of them has wow me.
Still on the search for the perfect one, so this thread should be really helpful for me.
Looking forward to know what everybody is using! 🙂

I use my INGLOT AMC Concealer in #70. It brightens my eyes and give me the “I’m awake” look. It’s very creamy in consistency and easy to work with. I still have yet to find a transparent powder to seal it with so I hardly ever really use it, unless I am going out with friends.

Another I like is the Bobbi Brown creamy concealer, same consistency but more pricey.

Blemishes – Kett Creme Fixx: creamy enough to blend, but dries matte. Coverage is buildable from sheer to full-on and will cover anything without caking! I use for everything from zits to capillaries to scars.

Undereye – Bobbi Brown creamy concealer: hint of peachiness that brightens the eyes and the creamy finish means no creasing for at least 6 hours.

I can’t say I’ve found one that I honestly love. They all crease, it’s just a matter of how badly. The ones I like the most, however, are MAC’s Studio Finish, Bobbi Brown’s Creamy Concealer, and Laura Geller’s Real Deal Concealer.

Definitely Bobbi Brown her concealer kit! And of course her corrector. If I could only bring one beauty item to an uninhabitant island, it would be my corrector in Light to medium bisque!

So far the best I’ve used is my most recent purchase- Smashbox HD! I have very light skin and the palest shade is still just a hint too dark, but that actually helps it cover my blemishes better and after I use setting powder it blends beautifully. I used the Garnier rollerball tinted treatment for dark circles under my eyes and it is also great! For pale to fair ladies only, but I actually have seen a reduction in darkness just like they claim.

I’m so glad you asked. I’ve just started using Bobbi Brown’s Dark Peach corrector under a little bit of studio sculpt. My awful “who socked you in the eye?” dark circles are impossible to detect. Even at close range.

Amazing Cosmetics. A travel size tube of it lasts for EVER because you only need a tiny bit and it covers everything. Plus it lasts all day, and it’s the only concealer I’ve tried that does that. Nothing else comes close.

Bobbi Brown Corrector paired with Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer. I have very pale skin and no matter how much sleep i get the under eye area is always dark and shows veins. These two products are miracle workers!

Meh I’ve yet to find the perfect under-eye concealer (I don’t have anything else that needs concealing). I don’t think it exists yet. I do like MAC Studiofinish and Select Moisturecover in NW (though the rest of my face is NC). I also like the light reflective pens that By Terry makes. I forget what they’re called but one is a silver pen and the other is a purple pen.

I am curious to try the Bobbi Brown correctors. I had them applied to me at a BB counter before and I found it creased horribly within 15 minutes. BUT I also know how these counter MUAs like to over-apply everything and caking it on so I’m wondering if I’ll get better results applying it on myself.

I have yet to find one that I absolutely LOVE but the closest so far has been MAC prolong wear! Everything seems to crease or be too drying… frusteration!

Agreed. I love this stuff and you only need a teeny tiny dot. I should also point out that I only use this under the eyes. I don’t have to conceal acne marks, imperfections, etc. so it serves it’s purpose for my use. It lasts all day without creasing. It’s pretty amazing for $6.

Amazing Concealer, my Shade is Fair (Ultra Light) and I can us this alone without foundation to conceal blemishes and my dark blue circles. The peach undertone really work to brighten the blue circles but it’s not so peach it doesn’t look unnatural on my pale olive skin.

Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer and HD Foundation. The foundation works real well to correct and conceal and the Salmon Concealer range is for correcting and brightening all blemishes and darkness in the skin.

Concealer Trio “A” (Fair/Medium) is packed with natural shade and the medium Salmon Concealer making it a great corrector wheel as well.

I don’t have many issues with under eye darkness/bags, but I do have some fine lines right under my eyes, and concealer tends to settle into them. I do like Garnier’s Tinted Rollerball though for days that I feel like I look tired.

For blemishes (my biggest problem) I’ve been using Benefit Boing in Shade 01, but my favorite is The Balm TimeBalm concealer in Light.

I don’t have a one true love for undereye, but I’m currently using Clinique’s undereye concealer. I like it because I found my perfect, perfect match.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer!! It’s the best…I like it better than bobbi brown, hourglass, laura mercier and many others! It doesn’t crease, stays all day and never looks powdery!

smashbox hd in 4.0 for its peachy shade, as well as laura mercier in 3 for the same reason, its dupeable to BB light bisque corrector for the same price without being so irritatingly overrated. I like mac’s moistureblend as well for its blendability, and select spf for its coverage.

So suprised no one has said Laura Mercier “secret concealer”. The one in the pot. Super creamy, amazing coverage and doesn’t crease or dry out. Don’t need much of it either to see a real difference. I’ve tried them ALL, and this truly is my favorite for under eyes.
For the rest of the face I would go with the Cle de Peau concealer. Stick formula and Less creamy then LM so holds on skin longer. LM is definitely more for undereyes only. LOVE both!

im using LM secret concealer . its nice , but need to be worked into skin very gently . not everyone got patience for that, but i love it. and it lasts forever.

There are quite a few I’d like to try but don’t have easy access to (Cle de Peau, By Terry, some other pricey one, the name of which I can’t recall, Eve Pearl, etc.) but of all the many I HAVE tried for my dark under-eye circles, my favourite is MAC Pro Longwear. I’ve got both NW15 and NW20 and both work well for me though I like the 15 for under my eyes and the 20 for the redness on my nose. I like that it lasts all day, doesn’t melt or smear even when it’s hot and humid, doesn’t cause the makeup on my lower lids to smear and smudge and that it gives good, buildable coverage and has good shade selection.

Undereyes: Hourglass (corrector and concealer in one), with Bobbi Brown corrector underneath for those of us with REALLY bad undereye circles

Face: MUFE Full Cover

Under eyes: Benefit Erase Paste. I have read that people say it doesn’t work for them, but #2 seems to work fine and makes my eyes look alive.

Overall concealing and also under eyes: MUFE 5 Camouflage Cream Palette #1. I blend the last 2 shades. It lasts a long time and covers nicely. I also like the green for redness I sometimes I get around my nose.

I also like Benefit Boing, Maybelline dream mousse, and theBalm Time Balm concealer.

I LOVE Erase Paste. You have to be careful with it under the eyes or it will crease, but I get so many complements when I wear it- My boyfriend asked me why my eyes looked so big!

It’s also great for blemishes.

Tarte Maracuja Concealer covers very well & you need the tiniest bit for your whole face. Ben Nye concealer wheels are also excellent & very inexpensive.

I have to go with Bobbi Brown. Perfect match, perfect under tone. It does crease a little if its very very warm and humid. Otherwise, with the setting powder it stays put!

I’ve tried more than 30 concealers for the under eye area and my two favorites are the Lancome Maquicomplet and the Estee Lauder Double Wear. I use the Lancome one for photos and the EL for everything else. The two are quite similar in texture and coverage though the EL dries a bit more quickly, has SPF, and doesn’t need a powder to set, though I set it anyways. In terms of color, texture, coverage, ease of blending/application, longevity, accentuation, and price, nothing beats these two.

I used to quite enjoy the Bobbi Brown Corrector, but after using it more often, I’ve found that it just pales in comparison to the other two, particularly when it comes longevity, accentuation, and to an extent price.

I don’t use a separate concealer for my face since my foundation works beautifully for that.

I’ve tried both the Laura Mercier and Bobbi Brown concealer kits(Warm Natural). I have to say, I like the Bobbi Brown more. And her corrector (peach) is pretty great too! 🙂

I have *finally* found my holy grail of concealers and I love them. I use Bobby Brown corrector and then put on Chanel correcteur perfection. Both of these go over Smashbox primer (the one for aging skin) and then I use MAC comfortblend on my whole face. People never believe me when I tell them my age (49) because they think I am 35 or so. It took me a long time to find my HG, and lots of experimenting…but I cannot recommend these two products highly enough.

The verdict is out as to whether these will be my final HGs as I have several items on my w/l yet to try, but I’m very satisfied with what I’m using — enough to repurchase. I’ve tested many brands Sephora — wore them home for day, but none good enough to purchase.

For eyes, I am using using MUFE Full-Coverage concealer & Eve Pearl’s salmon concealer under eyes (either/or,not together). Very pleased with both. I have, but haven’t used yet, BE’s Well-Rested.

For the face, both Kevyn Aucoin’s Sensual Skin Enhancer & MUFE’s Camouflage cream. Very pleased with both. The only other face concealers on my w/l to try is Lorac’s Coverup (as I wore this home from Sephora & thought this was pretty good), Ben Nye’s new MediaPro & DuraCover concealers & Kryolan’s Camoflauge Cream. This is as far as I will go in my quest — whichever one(s)work best I will stick with.

Having mild rosacea, I also have corrector colors that I haven’t worked with yet: Inglot’s green concealer & Mehron’s corrector wheel &, at some point, will try Graftobian’s corrector palette & MUFE green concealer.

Now, all I have to do is live long enough to test all these out to figure out my HGs. lol!

MAX Pro Longwear Concealer! MY HG CONCEALER. Easy to blend and long last! Only con is the pump. It’s very hard to control how much product you pump out so you need a bit of practice. Other than that, it’s AMAZING. NC30 is PERFECT for my skintone!

Hey I had the same problem! What I do is pump some (2 or 3 pumps) into a little MAC sample pot and then I can use as little or as much as I want with a brush. Just a thought, it helped me from wasting a lot of product! 🙂

i also depot my mac prolong wear concealer, but it starts to dry out in the pot and everytime i dip my finger into the pot, i end up getting more than i’d get when using the pump lol i’ve been using it for a almost half a year now, and after months of practice, i finally manage to pump out the exact amount now LOL practice makes perfect!

Cover FX.

However, I tried the Laura Geller concealer a couple of days ago and it did an incredible job with my under-eye circles. I may have to make a switch….

I prefer the waterproof kind since I end up sweating at work but I have tried everything I can get my hands on. So far the best has been the new Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer, I got it at QVC in a Tarte kit but I have since bought several tubes since its works so well.

Another great one for has been Amazing Cosmetics Concealer but it does crease a little more than the tarte.

I use Estee Lauder full coverage makeup as a concealer. Just a very tiny dot will work and a bottle will last forever. I don’t use concealer under my eyes because I have no issues there. I do use it for redness and other spots. Works great and I use foundation over.

I’m serious when I say that EVERYONE needs to try dermablend smooth indulgence concealer! So great and covers perfectly, never had a concealer like it!

Still havent found my holy grail! right now im using covergirl fresh complexion for my under eyes (i love this stuff! amazing for the drug store. i wish it had a little more coverage though..) and mac celect cover up for blemishes. I like liquid concealer becuase i can never find a way to make cream concealers work for me, but they never have enough coverage.

Then you might wanna try the CG-Olay potted under eye corrector, or just the CG-Olay concealer. It’s got a creamy tezture to it, so more coverage than the liquid fresh complexion.

Eve Pearl Salmon concealer for under eyes.
MAC Studio Fix for redness/blemishes.
Benefit’s Erase Paste for when I’m in a hurry, it applies best with my ring finger and I can use it for both under eyes and redness/blemishes.

I like tarte’s concealer in the tube. It brightens my undereye area and doesn’t settle in fine lines when patted in well. BE Bisque is terrific for blemish coverage and blemishes. I use BE foundation or Laura Geller’s Balance & Brighten, then post conceal.

For under eyes, Josie Maran Argan blend concealer (or Tarte’s Maracuja Concealer if I don’t get enough sleep as it has fuller coverage) topped with Guerlain Precious Light Illuminator. I’m into beneficial natural ingredients for my under eye concealer. 🙂

For acne/blemishes, I use cover FX.

I never hear people talking about it but I really like the Stila perfecting concealer. It has the perfect color match for me (a) which is hard to find for me to find. It looks really small but you need such a tiny amount. I use it both for blemishes and under eyes but for under eyes I prefer the MAC moisture cover in NW15. It blends better and I like that it’s a tiny bit light for my skin which helps lighten up the shadows.

Sadly the moisture cover really doesn’t stay put all day. It just kinda fades away to nothing within 5-6 hours. Also it doesn’t have enough coverage for blemishes.

The Stila lasting perfection is amazing amazing amazing on blemishes. It’s full coverage and really gets rid of all the redness. Plus it’s not drying at all. Also it stays put all day. It’s just a bit heavy for under eyes and isn’t light reflective at all. Good for non shimmery zits though.

I am a total concealer junkie though so I’m sure I’ll pick up some new ones soon.

I have dark circles and have tried drugstore and department store brands. The best for me is Cle De Peau. Simple application. Effective. Stays put all day.

The Magic Concealer from Helena Rubinstein does a very good job at covering dark circles and reducing puffiness. It leaves the skin very smooth. You can barely feel it’s there when applied (which is very important to me) and it really makes a difference.

Chantecaille Biolift concealer in camomile for my under eye area. It’s concealer with peptides in a soft cream center all in one so I don’t need an eye cream in the am.
Dior Skinflash in candlelight in strategic areas. 😉
Smashbox Camera Ready in 1.0 for any concealing on my face, as needed.

My holy grail for now is Mac prolong wear. I’ve been using the Mac select cover-up for years and just recently switched to Pro long wear. I love it! It brightens and also erases the fine lines under my eyes! Not to mention it lasts all day, all night…AMAZING!

Monave Liquid Matte foundation in Caroline under my eyes & on my lids. It conceals & brightens without settling into lines, caking or creasing. For blemishes, Monave Cream To Powder concealer. I got it to test several months ago in the summer, before it was released. I believe it’s now for sale on their website. It’s extremely concentrated, takes just a little bit patted over blemishes, doesn’t cake, looks natural & because it’s silicone free, it doesn’t further irritate or infect acne spots. Both products are silicone & talc free actually and can pull double duty. I can use the foundation on my face & for concealing around my eye/nose area because it’s very creamy as opposed to a runny liquid product. Their Cream To Powder concealer can also be used all over the face in place of foundation, as well as on the eye area. They’re both affordable and actually good for your skin. I believe the concealer is under $10 & lasts forever. A small jar of the foundation is only $8.50 & also lasts a very long time. These products are better than any of the other ones I’ve tried over the years, which are many of the ones already mentioned ++. None can even come close to these when comparing price, high quality ingredients used, concentration, etc. Unlikely I’ll ever stop using them.

Benefit Boing!! I’m quite pale and the lightest shade (01) fits my skin ton perfectly. I use it only for blemishes and redness around my nose and it always gives nice coverage but I don’t use it for under my eyes.

I don’t really get bags under my eyes and so I don’t use a concealer there but sometimes the Sephora under eye illuminator (in light) to seem more awake. But now I’m just going to have to try Bobbi Brown!!

before I adored YSL touch eclat, but it is a little dry: the stresses wrinkles and roll! I found the ideal quite recently, this concealer firm ellis faas from holland!
