Have you ever repurchased a cheek color? Which one(s)?

I have in the sense of re-reviewing products (like recently, I re-purchased all of the current MAC blushes). As far as for backup purposes or because I finished something, the last ones I recall was Tom Ford Lovelust and Chanel Jersey.

I’m on my third BeneFit PosieTint. It really changed how I think about warm colors on my skin, because I wore berry blush for years and then put PosieTint on once, as a whim, and got a million compliments. And I still do. If I wear it after not wearing anything for a few days, at least a couple of people tell me how nice my skin looks. The Sephora Cheek Ink was a great, cheaper dupe for it but then was discontinued.

I repurchased Nude Mauve by Max Factor several times because it`s a perfect shade for my pale skin and can be combined with many other cheek colors. Besides I can also use it for contouring while travelling.

I’ve repurchased Clinique’s Peach Cheek Pop twice now. Partially because it’s the perfect shade and finish on me to look like I’ve got a natural glow from within, and partially because the packaging is prone to smashing if dropped. It’s a definite must-have in my collection nonetheless, it was the first blush I ever got and what a good one.

Not yet, simply because I’ve never finished up a blush and most of the ones I would repurchase (if I ever did finish one) are/were LE. The only one I know I’d repurchase (assuming it’s still around in the 5 to 10 years it will take me to need a new one) is Dior’s Rosy Glow Awakening Blush.

Illamasqua Zygomatic, my favorite blush despite its oversized packaging. Ages ago, I also bought a second compact of Becca’s Turkish Rose but I never got around to using it. It’s old but it smells fine — maybe I could still use it.

5+ years back, Chanel Tempting Beige was my HG, and I repurchased several times. Sadly, it’s been discontinued. Haven’t had occasion to repurchase a blush since — just haven’t found the next one so perfect on me.

Hourglass Incandescent Electra blush. I first tried it in one of their blush palettes and by the time I used it all up a new blush palette was out which included the same shade so I purchased it and I’m currently working on using it up. It’s still my favorite blush after all this time but I love all Hourglass blushes in general.

I’m on my third boxes of both benefit Dallas and Hoola! Id consider repurchasing Colourpop Between the Sheets but I’m working on finishing some other blushes I have that are close dupes first. I’d repurchase Double Dip if it were reissued!

Revlon Sandalwood Beige is probably the only one I’ve actually replaced. That said, I did pick up 4 backups of NARS Douceur once I found out it was being DC’d, a backup of a L’Oreal LE bronzer, a Wet N Wild Goth-o-Graphic highlighter while waiting for my order to arrive, and a few Wet N Wild Reserve Your Cabana backups, because for a while, they were either OOS or broken, so I’d pick one up when I caught one in-stock, and on sale.

I’ve also gotten a Lancome Blush Subtil in Miel Glace & Aplum a few times as GWPs/PWPs, but I most likely would have bought both if necessary at the time.

Burberry Lip and Cheek Glow in Hydrangea — will be repurchasing again (total of 3x). So easy to apply, lasts on me at least 8 hours, natural looking, a little goes a long way, perfect color, little pot lasts a lot longer than you’d think possible, but it is expensive — I have to force myself to use something else.

I’ve gone through a few Rosy Outlook blushes from MAC. I think I got sick of it because I hadn’t purchased it since, but now I’m rethinking that decision after revisiting swatches!

Laura Gellar had an allover face color, maybe ethereal rose. It was part of the regular routine, and I killed two, before it was d/c’d. BM rose radiance is not even close. Never found a replacement that was sheer enough, not too yellow, etc. it was another one trick pony, like the tf I mentioned Monday. Not into Gellar at all, but loved that one product.

Though not technically a cheek color, I’ve repurchased bareMinerals All Over Face Color in Rose Radiance many times. It was the only “blush” I wore for a good decade or so. I still use it from time to time, so I always keep some around.

I rebought e.l.f. Blush in Gotta Glow a couple times. I used it as my daily highlighter for a while, and I still use it frequently. I’m almost done with my last pan, and it’s been discontinued.

When I was in high school and college, I rebought my favorite CoverGirl Cheekers blushes as I used them up, but I can’t remember the shade names after all this time.

I repurchased Clé de Peau’s cream blush in #2. It’s a medium luminous pink which I apply with a Wayne Goss #14 brush for a subtle blush.

I have so many blushes now that hitting pan or needing to replace isn’t something I anticipate. Many years ago (mid 1980’s?) I went through many pots of Max Factor Ultralucent plum cream blush & loved it, obviously. More recently the only one I’ve finished would be Cargo’s The Big Easy….gorgeous color.

Benefit Dallas twice, Tarte Exposed twice, and Mac Ladylike twice. My favorite used to be Too Faced Mocha Mi Amore and it was d/c’d, so when I found it on Ebay I ordered 3. Sadly, I’m on my last one so I have to check if there are any more available. I also purchased Nars Orgasm twice and gave it away both times. Am I the only person that this blush looks hideous on?

I’ve repurchased my Chantecaille blushes a few times over the years. I repurchased their old Aquablush line over and over again. I’ve also repurchased Bliss a few times. I do t go through blushes terribly quickly since it doesn’t take much to create a nice flush on my fair skin.

Silvia Avatar

Yes. I have backups for Pearlescent Pink/WetnWild, Rose Champagne, Ticket to Brazil bronzer, Reserve my Cabana, Catwalk highliter. Really love these guys and would hate it if they discontinued them. WetnWild Rocks! Lol!
Cover Girl true blend blushes I have and like them too.

I hit pan on Nars Orgasm, I was set to repurchase until I tried Nudestix in Bare Back. Now I think I’m going to grab a backup of that instead of waiting to finish it–just in case.

I’ve repurchased Benefit Dandelion. It works great as a subtle blush on my light skin tone. I’ve also repurchased the Maybelline Bouncy Blushes in the shade Fresh Pink and am about to repurchase the shade Orchid Hush (which is my favorite of the line). I love the bouncy blushes in the fall and winter, they just look and work great on my skin.
