Not very often, but I definitely have! I actually did quite a bit for this year – I bought more nail care for my dad (who’s still having trouble with his nails). Mellan also bought Shaun a fancy razor, razor blades, and an Art of Shaving Sandalwood kit. He’s such a nice son 😉

I bought my dad a really nice shaving kit once from Sephora. He basically said, that was very nice, but I will never use it.
So back it went.
Not me, since I am estranged from my father, but my husband certainly has.
I regularly buy my dad beauty products, he’s outdoors a lot and likes to protect his skin. He has to use a manly range though, so usually L’oreal men expert or something like that!
Yes many times : fragrances, fine soaps, most of the time, this year I took a Dior one, last year Durance, the year before L’Occitane.
My dad doesn’t like any type of male beauty products-so, no
I got my dad cologne this year (he’s a cologne junkie)!
Nooo LOL. My dad would look at me like I was crazy. He’s more of a techie, so I’ll buy him stuff like that.
I brought my husband a Jack Black set of hand cream and lip balms one Father’s. I ended up using most of the stuff since he rarely used it.
Thats such a cute idea having Mellan buy a gift! haha
My dad is very very low maintenance when it comes to anything involving beauty, so i don’t think i would get him anything of that nature just because it wouldn’t get any use. I normally buy art supplies or model cars/trucks as he is the creative type!
I’m more likely to do it for Christmas, honestly – his skin gets really dry during winter, but summer his only skin issue is his refusal to put on sunscreen when he goes out to the pool to bake all day. I don’t really get him the really nice stuff so much as the best quality drugstore stuff, though, since his interest level really only has it at a tertiary present level at best.
I got my husband a fragrance sampler from Sephora, He likes cologne but will not be caught in a store or picking one out for himself, so this was a winner for both of us!
No, but I don’t really buy *anyone* beauty products as gifts. Everyone I know would appreciate other things more, so I try to stay on course.
Lately I’ve been encouraging (forcing) my bf to take better care of his skin ie. exfoliate, moisturize etc so I bought him a set from Murad and he actually really likes it!
I could try, but my dad would never use it. He doesn’t use a moisturizer or sunscreen. He doesn’t even use shampoo! He just uses a bar of Dial soap for body, face, and hair. Shameful, I know. He also is against anything “different”. He’s weird, yes, but he’s my dad and I love him. This year we got him an extension thing for his chainsaw that helps to cut down trees. He was SO excited.
