Happy New Year!

In the blogosphere, it is rather traditional to go through the past year’s posts to find favorites, gems, and the like.   I’ve got a few more things to keep me busy this New Year’s Eve, which you’ll see soon enough.  Sometimes we have readers wonder why we cover every MAC collection, but from these top post lists, you’ll notice that these are often our most popular, most requested/expected posts here on Temptalia–and ultimately, we want to provide you with the content you want. It is also with great happiness to see both the Makeup Dupe List and the Foundation Matrix do so well this year!

Thank you for ALL of your amazing support over the past year! We’ve had a great 2010, and I just know we’re going to rock it out again in 2011!

I’m suprised the Rodarte post did not make it onto either list-I remember reading and rereading that post so many times-it was such an eye opening and informative discussion!

Hey Christine! I just want to say great job and thanks for all the hard work that has gone into making your blog awesome this year!! I hope you’ll peruse through our archives, as I cover as many other brands and products as I possibly can, including MAC, but our brand coverage hovers between 30-70 different brands per month. I respect that you do not like MAC, but many of our readers do – as you can see from these lists, these are our most popular posts, and it would be a failure on our part not to give our readers what they want to see.

Happy new year, Christine! Totally not surprised with MAC’s VV coming in at the top, Disney anything gets almost everyone in conniptions, lol. A big congratulations on all your successes and achievements on the blog thus far and here’s to an exciting 2011! You and the blog are fab and although I have no monies to spend on makeup right now, I’m real excited to see what new makeup goodies are in store this upcoming year! 🙂

I’m a bit surprised that the new pigment jar debates didn’t make it onto these lists. It feels like it was forever ago, but it was only a year! Scandals are easily forgotten sometimes.
