Guest Review: Paul & Joe Opening Night Lipstick by Vee
Guest Reviewer: Vee
Paul & Joe Beaute, created by Parisian Sophie Albou, offers absolutely a gorgeous array of products. The premise of the line is “fun-loving sophistication” and has a modern vintage look to packaging… the kind of items you might find sitting on the vanity of a 1940’s socialite in Paris.
I recently purchased Lipstick C, in 062 (“Opening Night”), from the Spring Collection (limited edition). It’s a gorgeous blushing pink colour and feels like a lip balm. I paid $24 (Canadian) for the lipstick and while that’s a little more on the expensive side, it was definitely worth it. My lips were hydrated and the colour looked completely natural for hours. The tubing is a durable cardboard in lieu of the more traditional plastic case. I think this is my favourite splurge to date. Everything felt luxurious and decadent.
They currently have a Disney collaboration line out right now (think retro Disney – Bambi, Lady and the Tramp & Aristocats) that is adorable. The products include face colour balls, a lip treatment, and a hand cream.

Wow, that’s the prettiest design on a lipstick I’ve ever seen! How elaborate!!
I love the packaging. If you go to their website they have a background download with the lipstick design for your desktop. I couldn’t find the disney collection.

Honestly, it’s so pretty I would never use it. There is no Paul and Joe where I am (So sad, I wanted some Disney stuff)
Depending on your location, most stores will ship. In Canada, the store I bought from will ship within the country. I’m sure other places will do the same…
Hi! I’m from Canada too, I’ve been trying to find Paul & Joe here but with no luck. I was wondering which website you’ve been buying it off of. Thanks!
I bought it in-store at Beauty Junkie (West Edmonton Mall) and they will ship within Canada – http://www.beautyjunkie.ca. I dislike how so many e-tailers either won’t ship here OR charge ridiculous S&H fees.
what a coincidence, i was checking this brand this morning. i think they sell them at glow.com. they have really pretty packaging.
Oooh gorgeous…and it turns out that Paul & Joe is sold at a little boutique 15 minutes away! Now I have something really frivolous to do this weekend. Thanks for the review.
I have been getting my Paul & Joe stuff from these two websites:
