Ha ha! Yeah, exactly! for my work makeup I have to try to make it kind of boring. Enough that I still feel fun putting it on, but not so much that people will pull me aside at work and be like, “umm, tone it down please.” This is about as dark as I can go. 🙁

I agree what a pretty job you did 🙂 it does almost appear as if you are wearing nothing at all…but totally in a good way! Its always nice to see make-up used in a way that just enhances ones natural beauty…bright colors are fun too but I really like how glowingly natural and pretty this makes you look. Though I would suggest you curl your lashes or maybe wear Prep and Prime 🙂 it would really add to the look to have “more” lashes, if that makes sense.

Hi Tanya! Yeah, I need to get better about curling my lashes. I get lazy and skip it even though you’re right, it does make a big difference. I actually got some false ones as a gift but haven’t really tried them out yet :/

I did try a free sample of Lancome’s lash primer and it made a big difference. I should try the MAC version..you like it?

I do like the MAC Prep and Prime, but I havent tried a bunch of other brand to compare with so I am a bit limited in my ability to compare. That said I totally dig the primer…I have tried a ton of mascaras on my bare lashes but once I get the Prep and Prime on them it really doesnt matter what mascara I am using. A good trick to know, is to use a metal lash brush on the primer before putting on mascara…its almost impossible to get lashes seperated if the primed lashes havent been properly seperated.

Same here with the lash curler…its one of those steps I almost always skip…I am trying to remember to do it more often 🙂

I think I may hit the mall and try the Prescriptives 🙂 It got pretty good reviews on MUA.

I have very sensitive, rosacea-prone cheeks (you can tell on that first pic) and dry skin and I just tried a ton of foundations and settled on this one because it tends to be gentler on me when I want the coverage of a liquid.

About half the time I wear mineral makeup, though. But for liquid foundation, this has been the best match for me so far.

Wow! The lid colors are fantastic! I thought you didn’t actually wear anything on the 1st picture. And smut and satin taupe, I never thought those colors could work together; and bare looks totally different on me, must be your natural lips color. Pretty

Yeah, the blessing/curse of my eyes is that when I put on a normal amount of makeup (ie work safe/day makeup) it is almost totally hidden by my hooded eyelids.

Some days it’s frustrating because I can’t apply eyeshadow on my inner lid the way a lot of people can. But most of the time I love that it makes me different.
