Guerlain Meteorites Blossom Collection for Spring 2014
Guerlain Meteorites Blossom Collection for Spring 2014
Guerlain’s Spring 2014 Météorites Blossom collection celebrates the reinvention of the legendary Météorites Pearls, whose light-diffusing properties minimize flaws and add brightness to the skin. More than 25 years after its invention, Météorites Pearls emerges with new constellations of colors to revive light and boost radiance. For the first time ever, Météorites Pearls incorporates Guerlain’s new, revolutionary ―Stardust Technology, a spherical pigment contained within each pearl. This formulation diffracts light upon contact to offer the ultimate in luminous skin. Météorites Blossom celebrates this revolutionary technology, as well as the romantic colors of the new constellations, through images of light and infinite radiance.
Météorites Pearls ($60.00) (New, Permanent)
Each shade of Météorites Pearls begins with the same legendary combination of 3 colors which adapt to every skin tone and collectively work to beautify skin: mauve catches the light, pink refreshes and yellow counters dullness and corrects redness. These delicate and perfectly round pearls continue to be shaped by hand, with craftsmanship mastered by only 4 people in the world. Softer than ever, the new pearls allow for an even easier application and a more visible effect with every brushstroke. These precious pearls are contained in a beautiful metal tin, now marked with a new emblem of a reinterpreted rosette created with a light gradation of pink.
- 02 Clair A harmony of green pearls for extra redness correction, white pearls to reflect the light and champagne pearls to adapt to the skin and gently illuminate it
- 03 Medium A nude harmony containing beige and champagne pearls to naturally reflect light and even the complexion, combined with peach pearls to add a unique glow to the skin
- 04 Doré The most smoldering harmony, this shade incorporates chocolate pearls with satin shimmers and vivifying fuchsia pearls that revive radiance and unifying beige pearls for deliciously beautiful skin
Météorites Brush ($42.00)
The stunning natural pink bristles of the Météorites brush are longer and softer, perfectly complimenting the new pearls. This luxurious brush sweeps lightly over Météorites Pearls taking only the exact quantity of powder required. The pure white handle is a promise of luminosity.
Météorites Blush ($42.00) (New, Limited Edition)
Guerlain’s new cream blushes melt instantly into the skin, leaving a satiny finish with a delicate violet scent. Available in 2 shades, a cheerful fuchsia and delicate pink, Météorites blush comes encapsulated in a perfectly round white and silver case, paying homage to the Météorites bubble.
- Pink (01) Delicate pink (Limited Edition)
- Cherry (02) Cheerful fuchsia (Limited Edition)
Gloss d’Enfer ($30.00)
Like the reinvented Météorites, the limited-edition spring lip gloss and nail lacquer shade capture the brilliance of stardust. Like a magically iridescent ray of pure light, the season’s new nail enamel and gloss shine with a surreal glow. Lips and nails dazzle with one application! As top coats they work to enhance color, adding a diamond shine.
- Star Dust (862) Iridescent ray of pure light (Limited Edition)

Maxi Lash Mascara ($30.00)

Unf! I’ve been looking forward to this collection for such a long time! I’ve hoarded so many Météorites pearls but I can’t resist the new packaging…! I also can’t wait to check out the eyeshadow quad!
Everything looks so beautiful!
Yay, new Meteorites!! Can´t wait for your review, Christine!!
I have to buy the Météorites Pearls in 02 Clair! I hope that my wallet will be ready for this! 😉
And I especially hope that they’ll available here in italy.
I can’t wait to try out Dore! It looks like it’ll be really WOC friendly. I really hope so!
I agree, I was so happy to see that!
Ohhh my God. WOW.
Waiting with baited breath for your reviews!
My eyes usually drift past new Meteorites pearls…too ashy for my dark tan complexion. I have to admit, though, that I’m intrigued by the Dore – the Crazy Terracotta powder worked out so well for me this season that I’m willing to tread a little bit farther into Guerlain waters. The blushes look delectable!
This was my thought also!
I’m loving the eyeshadow palette so much! Do you think Guerlain eyeshadows are worth the splurge?
Sometimes, but they’re not always worth it.
Oh lord…I want it all!
Definitely curious to see what the Rouge Automatiques will look like on.
I have never purchased from this company before but everything here looks so intriguing. I think I may be forced to indulge in quite a few items!
I have fallen hard for the look of the four-shadow palette. Furiously scouring Google for swatches but no luck yet.
The gloss & nail polish look intriguing, and *maybe* one of the Meteorites… At least the Meteorites are permanent! I’m just really trying to avoid any more “face” products for a while, until I get through at *least* 5, LOL!
Emmm, nothing really got my attention, maybe the last palette…. the rest seem too much on the packaging… I wouldn’t buy a makeup for the look of the package!
Definitely looking forward to the whole collection. New Meteorites and Rouge Automatiques? Sign me up! 😀
That Dore looks awe-mazing this just might be my first ballz purchase
I’ve never been into Météorites, but this collection looks worth it.
Those meteorites pearls are so breathtaking!! Loved them all!<3
I wonder what the gloss and nail polish look like! I already own a pressed Meteorites powder, so I’ll probably skip on the pearls.
So do these new permanent meteorites completely replace the existing permanent line, or will just be additions? 02 Clair sort of looks like Teinte Rose, but just maybe better R&D? If 03 Medium is anything like the Puccio D’Azure LE, I wouldn’t touch it with a ten-foot pole – D’Azure makes me look sickly. (I use Giorgio Armani Designer Lift no. 5 or Lasting Silk no. 5)
I believe these are replacing!
Hi Layla! Would you share how you’re liking GA Designer Lift and Lasting Silk? How does it compare to Luminous Silk,, if you’ve used it?
I really love both foundations, they feel really light on the skin and disappear completely. I feel that Designer Lift gives more coverage than Lasting Silk. For eg, I never have to use concealer with Designer Lift but will need a little bit of touch-up with concealer on some darker marks with Lasting Silk if I’m going to an evening event and need more coverage. I have not used Luminous Silk but I do have it in my arsenal. I tend to finish up foundations before cracking open a new bottle. Designer Lift took about 1 year to finish (1 pump, almost daily use applied with Real Techniques stippling brush) and I’ve been using Lasting Silk for about 6 months now.
I’ve only used Chanel and Lancome foundations before switching to GA which to me is really top-notch technology, does not clog my oily skin and I feel like I can smile a lot without my make-up cracking, if you know what I mean?
Everything looks glorious… I could just stare at all those promo photos all day… *drools*
I’m especially curious about that brow palette…
Those bubble blushes look a lot like those Lip and Cheek Domes from that collection from The Body Shop (the Lily Cole one).
I just bought Meteorites in Rose a few weeks ago…I hope the new ones are n’t so much better that I need to get the new edition too! Will you be reviewing the new formula Christine?
I hope to!
Wow, the Dore meteorite pearls might actually compliment tanned and darker skinned beauties. Welcome to the 21st century Guerlain!
OMG – I must try the new pearls. I love the mascara and have been using it for months. Not fond of the blushes. I saw all the new stuff today in Dillards but the MA had no clue on the new pearls and what was new about them…ugh
♥ So excited for your reviews, Christine!
OMG, Be still my heart.
The meteorites look gorgeous. I hate the packaging of the blush, tho; looks like maybelline bouncy blush, not guerlain.
I swatched these at the Nordstrom’s counter the other day. I really loved the eyeshadow palette, and they all seemed to swatch quite nicely, the matte shade being the only one that was a tad stiff (but still pigmented). It’s a palette that will flatter cooler skin tones, I think, particularly fair blondes. 🙂 The meteorites are also lovely, though I think Dore will be a bronzer for anyone in the NW10/15 range – hopefully it’ll be a good color for darker skin tones.
Hi Christine. We have the same shade. What color of Météorites Pearls do you suggest? Thanks!
Haven’t seen these yet!
This packaging is gorg! Must have it! Since reading your blog, I have changed the way I purchse makeup in a good way. I used to think I needed every MAC or Urban Decay product. They went untouched, and I realized that I tend to use higher end products for everyday. It’s not to be s snob, but I have noticed a different in the way my makeup applys and lasts. Also problems that I had with my skin are nearly gone. I seem to have gotten rid of my clogged pores by dumping out SFF and switching it up. I no longer purachse everything I see and my collection is much much smaller but I really really use the few iteams I do have. I rather have 1 foundation that I use everyday than 5 that I hate to put on. Thank you for intoducing me to Guerlain. Even though I can’t even pronouce the product names 😀
Hey Ann!
So glad you’ve found yourself purchasing more products you love and use all the time rather than ones that sit unused! That is definitely the way to do it – I know I would go that route if I had to start all over again.
No worries – between Chanel and Guerlain, I can’t pronounce half of their names either 😉
There are a lot of nice looking products in this collection!
This collection is really gorgeous! At first glance the ice blues felt out of place in a spring collection to me, but on second and third look they really brighten the offering in an unexpected way. Can’t wait to see these swatches!
I’ll be waiting patiently for your reviews on these goodies! 🙂
The pearls look so beautiful as does the rest, I imagine all those colour-correcting tones and great on dull skin. I love this time of year looking at all the spring collections as I think they’re the nicest 🙂
