The formula is supposed to be long-wearing and adhere well to the skin. It had semi-opaque color coverage with a soft, but dusty, consistency that adhered decently to bare skin but needs a primer to actually wear well. The dustiness of the texture made it harder to apply smoothly. On its own, I was only able to get six and a half hours of wear before it started to fade.
Enjoy

Meh, looks kinda blah and boring… They could have picked a more fun shade, right? 🙂
Sometimes how Guerlain decides to create collections confuses me – mostly because a single eyeshadow is like, “Hmm, why not more?”
I sooo need inspirational messages from my makeup ?. I don’t get the choice of colour either here tbh. This product makes absolutely no sense to me.
I’m still trying to get over one single eyeshadow released in a collection…. that isn’t 110% amazing.
And it’s yellow, a color that only a few people can actually wear.
exactly!
Very strange indeed… And then why not make this one colour a super good covering, creamy and blendable shadow?
IKR? It’s so weird. Then they pick the one color to be yellow, which most people wouldn’t wear.
$34 for one mediocre eyeshadow that’s easily replicated in ones costing under 10 bucks (and of better quality) – YEAH, I’m really ready to sign up for THAT!
It’s puzzling 🙁
An easy pass.
Lotus, where did you go? Guerlain gave us another fairy coffin with another horribly performing eyeshadow!!! Yeah, this shade has me scratching my head in utter amazement. Bizarre shade choice with terrible quality. Again. ?
It is an interesting choice… not sure where the spring collection was going.
Tbh, I don’t believe Guerlain did either…
Huh?? So strange they only sent you 1 product out of their collection. Where’s the blush, face powder, lipsticks, eyeliners? And for $34, it doesn’t even score well 🙁 I can see the sheerness, my oily lids will eat this for breakfast.
They didn’t – this is just a review for the eyeshadow 🙂 I don’t usually review multiple formulas in one post!
Actually, the soft glow and delicate yellow could make a nice base color; especially for blue eyes, but I do find myself wondering where all the other colors have gone! It would be nice as part of a quad, but as a stand alone, it’s far from inspiring. Guerlain didn’t seem to have a unifying concept this spring. That’s too bad for me, because Guerlain is one of my favorite brands.
I like the color, though performance could be better I think. It is just odd as a single shade for sure.
Very average in colour and rating. This kind of colour abounds in many of the recent palette releases, so I think we have a few in our stash.
Exactly! Just so-so.
I used to have an Estée Lauder single shadow in Butter, which was gorgeous – everything this one looks like it ought to be were it true to pan (and decent quality). What a shame!
Ah, bummer that this couldn’t be as good!
I think Guerlain’s become self-aware about their mediocre LE eyeshadow releases.
They used to such good powders…
They just need to rehash Turandot every couple of years. That’s really the only eyeshadow release from them that’s wowed me.
I think I have three or four palettes from Guerlain that I really, really like. Which is pretty terrible given that there have been at least a dozen, if not two dozen, in that time period!
I might be the only one who thinks the colour is gorgeous. Soft and a bit shiny. I’d love to have a colour exactly like it, not this particular one, though, as I want my eyesahdows to get at least a B.
I like the color itself, but it does strike me as an odd solo release!
Looks dry and boring 🙁
