These like interesting are they Cream formula?
Tabitha, yes, they are cream eyeshadows
Those colors are ultra-stylish!
L’AVENUE
Oh, I hope these are good… actually for my wallets sake I hope they’re terrible. I really like the look of 2, 3, 6 and 8 particularly.
Such nice hues! Can’t go wrong with Givenchy.
I hope that white one performs well! I really need a good white base for some of my pastel shades.
Judith, unfortunately it is not white, just specks of silver glitter in a transparent base
I’m wondering if you’ve heard anything about a tenth shade Rose Illusion that seems to only be available in Europe at the moment. Do you have any idea when/if it might be available in the US?
Hi Maria,
Givenchy lists only 9 shades for U.S.!
Ohhh. I need to get a few cream eye shadows. My shadow stash is paltry!
They all look too warm for me, but rock on, warm-toned women!
I love the formula of these – I just bought Prune Taffetas! I can’t wait to see what you think, and obviously, if I should get ALL the colors! 😛
I can’t wait for your reviews of these! Hopefully some of them will be matte or low-sheen. The world needs more of those!
Ooo, promising colours!
Ooooo I want the purple one!!
Ooh… I’m excited to see how 1, 4 and 8 work out! Can’t beat purple and navy blue!
I swatched these eyeshadows at Sephora. After seeing them in person I think they are nicely pigmented (at least the ones I swatched), but they are all dupable. Since I have more than enough paint pots, I’ll pass. I liked the purple/plum color the best.
I like the shades and the reasonable price. I’m trying at least one or two for sure 🙂 Liking 1, 3, 5 and 8.
I am so intrigued by this collection – if they are as good as the Le Rouge lipsticks, I could seriously end up collecting each one of them 🙂
I’ve been testing 1,3 and 6 (as well as cold light pink one which seems to be only for the European release) shades for the past month, and my impressions are very controversial. The shadows, though pretty on the eyes, just do not stay on my lids and crease within 2 hours of the application. #3 is the best of them in terms of pigmentation, it works well with the eyeshadow primer, but #6 creases and fades even combined with primer 🙁
