Give Me Glow Foiled Pressed Shadows Reviews & Swatches (Part 1 of 5)
Ruby Rose
Give Me Glow Ruby Rose Foiled Pressed Shadow ($7.00 for 0.105 oz.) is a deep red with subtle, warm undertones and a slightly cooler sheen. It had rich color coverage in a single layer with a smooth, lightly emollient texture that was more substantial without being too firmly-pressed into the pan or being too thick when applied to bare skin. It wore well for eight hours before creasing faintly on me.

The brand offers matte and foiled finish eyeshadows, though the descriptions are largely the same: "highly pigmented," "blendable," and "finely milled." The difference is with the foiled finish eyeshadows, the brand cautions to use less because they're that pigmented and going in with a heavier hand could cause flaking.
The foiled eyeshadows are incredibly pigmented with a very smooth, creamy consistency that was dense without being too stiff or too firmly-pressed into the pan. I didn't have any issues picking up product with a dry brush, and they also worked well with fingertips or a dampened brush an even more intense, metallic finish that was ultra-shiny.
I found this finish to be more consistent, too, and it was rare to run into major issues with the shades in this finish. There were a few with a touch of fallout or that might have creased a bit faster over time, but by and large, they hit all the high notes for those who love pigmented, metallic eyeshadows. They wore between eight and nine hours, often creasing more than fading on me.
They come in oversized pans (relative to average size) at 37mm, and they contain double the product (0.10 oz.) the average eyeshadow does (0.05 oz.).

Selfie
Give Me Glow Selfie Foiled Pressed Shadow ($7.00 for 0.105 oz.) is a deeper, coppery-brown with moderate, warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. It was incredibly shiny, which set it apart from other similarly-hued shades. It had opaque color payoff that applied evenly to bare skin and diffused well along the edges. The texture was lightly creamy, moderately dense but not too thick, so the shimmer and sparkles stayed in place better. It lasted well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Sweet Tea
Give Me Glow Sweet Tea Foiled Pressed Shadow ($7.00 for 0.105 oz.) is a bright, medium copper with strong, warm golden undertones and an intense, metallic sheen. The eyeshadow was richly pigmented with a smooth, creamy texture that felt almost wet to the touch as it had a lot of glide, but it still adhered evenly to bare skin and blended out easily along the edges. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before creasing faintly on me.

Give Me Glow Pink Lemonade Foiled Pressed Shadow ($7.00 for 0.105 oz.) is a very light, pink-coral base with brighter, more golden pearl. Stunning! Where can you purchase these? Thanks.
These look great!
I have to admit, products that are really large are a bit of a turn-off to me now that I don’t go through products like I used to. Remember Yaby? They had the opposite approach, ha ha! Little tiny baby shadows (15.5 mm pans, don’t remember the weight).
These are all the most perfect kind of shades – easy to apply, beautifully soft and vivid shimmers. I do think that Selfie and Sweet Tea are quite alike, but the rest are just gorgeous shades.
My favourites are: Selfie, Follow Me and Pink Champagne.
I hate to say that your swatches and reviews of Give Me Glow and JD Glow eyeshadows make me want to purchase a few for myself! The only hesitation I have is the huge amount of product in the pans. I have so many eyeshadows I just know that I won’t ever get to using even half the product up. I really really wish that they would offer a smaller pan size.
Thank you Christine!
These are sooo good! Ruby Rose, Pink Lemonade and a few others are so very tempting, but I know that I do have dupes, so I’m trying to restrain myself here.
These are looking great! I love how metallic Pink Lemonade looks!!
Pink champagne is stunning.
These are gorgeous! Looking at the company’s web site, they have empty duo palettes that would satisfy my urge to downsize to much smaller palettes too.
Wow, love these!
