Giorgio Armani White Punch (11) Eyes to Kill Intense Eyeshadow Review, Photos, Swatches

Giorgio Armani White Punch (11) Eyes to Kill Intense Eyeshadow

Giorgio Armani White Punch (11) Eyes to Kill Intense Eyeshadow ($32.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a pale pink-tinged beige and white mix of colors that translates into a pink-tinged white with a high-shine metallic finish. The sheen is so reflective–this can really pop on lids if you apply it opaque. I did find that this shade did not apply as well as many of the other shades within the range–it was a little uneven, which led to some sheerness in places.  The color reminded me of MAC Et tu, Bouquet?, perhaps a little pinker.

The texture of the Eyes to Kill Intense Eyeshadows is interesting; it’s a really compacted loose powder, but it’s so finely milled that it almost feels like a hybrid cream-powder. Each pot contains 0.14 oz. worth of product, which is a good amount, given that most pressed eyeshadows average around 0.05 oz. I have worn around half of the range alone on lids with 12+ hours of wear without creasing, smudging, or fading.

So…shiny…
This reminds me of how people describe neons as “retina-searing,” and now I’m thinking…what if there were a neon with this kind of shine? Ouch.

What a breathtaking sheen! I am in love with these Eyes to Kill shadows! They’re really quite amazing, and this is a beautiful twist on the basic metallic white. So multidimensional.

Hi Christine! Out of all the Eyes to Kill shadows you swatched, what would be your two must-haves? I don’t want to dish out the money for more than 2 but I want to make sure I get the best, most unique 2 I can find. Thanks!

Hi Erin,

I think you might also want to consider what you’d actually wear and wear often! 🙂 Like Lust Red is gorgeous, but it is super dark, so maybe not as wearable. I like Purpura and Blast o’ Blue quite a bit for colors that appear more multidimensional both swatched and applied. I’m also a sucker for the khaki shade 🙂

Thanks, Christine! I am definitely going to get Blast of Blue and I’m going to go through your swatches again to figure out which other color. Perhaps Purpura! 🙂

Have others that look just like this…many like it I have tossed through the years as well. Way too much $ for what I spend on eyeshadow EVER.

I have this…I went on a mini-binge with the Eyes to Kill shadows. I like it. It’s a nice contrast to my brown eyes. It probably doesn’t go on as smoothly as the others, but it covers really well compared to most light-colored shadows.

It’s interesting how it looks sort of.. grainy? in the pot, yet you say it’s very finely milled. The colour is gorgeous though, looks like it could be used for many different things, such as a pop of shine on top of another colour? Inner corner highlight? Just my kind of thing, really!
