Giorgio Armani Halo & Stellar Eyes to Kill Stellar Reviews & Swatches
Halo (2)
Giorgio Armani Halo (2) Eyes to Kill Stellar ($36.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a medium, golden taupe with more muted, almost olive undertones, paired with a lightly sparkly, shiny finish. It had more shine than overt sparkle, which may or may not appeal more to a particular user. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which was easy to apply to bare skin as well as to diffuse and blend out for more of a wash effect. I felt that it worked as a wash as the base distributed easily and didn’t look patchy (an issue with deeper shades). The texture was spongy, thin, and lightly emollient but not truly “wet” to the touch. It wore well for nine hours and didn’t have any fallout that I could see.

Formula Overview
$36.00/0.14 oz. - $257.14 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "ultra-pigmented" and "long-lasting" with a "gel texture and shimmery finish." (Of course, the brand then goes on to say that they have "buildable color with intense shimmer.") The brand recommends applying them with fingertips, which definitely work, but I was also able to use the formula with flat, synthetic brushes and get good (nearly equivalent) results.
The consistency was gel-like, bouncy as they described, and felt like a cream-powder hybrid, though definitely more cream than powder in feel--slight slip and "wetness" to the touch. It had more of a powder-like feel and movement to it once the product is applied to the lid/skin. The pigmentation varied from semi-opaque to opaque, depending on the shade, and most were blendable so they could be used as a wash of color if preferred. They lasted between eight and nine hours with little to no fallout.
As a FYI, they are not an actual formula dupe/true replacement for the Eyes to Kill Intense range (which has been discontinued).

Stellar (5)
Giorgio Armani Stellar (5) Eyes to Kill Stellar ($36.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a muted, light-medium rosy copper with warmer undertones and flecks of fine sparkle and shimmer. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation (whether applied with fingertips or synthetic brushes) that applied evenly and blended out without much effort. It was harder to get this to be an even wash of color, though, as there were darker flecks of copper sparkle that seemed to give the illusion of patchiness. The eyeshadow had a spongy, lightly emollient texture that definitely dried to a powder-like finish when applied to my skin, so I didn’t have to worry about it settling into creases but it was still blendable. It wore well for eight and a half hours on me and didn’t have any fallout over time.

Not sure that I understand the numbers. Does they indicate the 2nd and 5th iterations of the shade, or the shade #? Pretty.
Each shade has a name and number – the name isn’t printed on the label, just the number, but they’re labeled with a name and number online.
What a gorgeous taupe! Love the shade and the beautiful finish.
Halo is beautiful. Fortunately, I’ve got 2 or 3 dupes for it but that doesn’t stop me wanting it.
They look pretty….pricey for such easily duped shades. I mean, really. Most of us probably already have these shades once or twice over.
Wow, Stellar is really pretty. Iām not sure I have anything quite like that in a cream formula.
Stellar looks like a bling-ire version of Tom Ford cream color platinum ?
