Giorgio Armani #10 Eyes to Kill Solo Eyeshadow
Giorgio Armani #10 Eyes to Kill Solo Eyeshadow ($32.00 for 0.061 oz.) is a golden beige with warm undertones and a metallic sheen with larger dark champagne sparkle. The texture was soft, but it was dry, which made it apply less smoothly. It was also more prone to sheering out when blended on the skin. The eyeshadow wore well for seven hours on me before fading. ColourPop XO (P, $5.00) is a cream product. LORAC Uninhibited (P) is lighter. Dior Golden Shock #5 (LE) is similar. MAC Sweet Sovereign (LE, $15.00) is slightly darker. Too Faced Nutmeg (LE, $16.00) is lighter. Tarte Golden Locket (LE) is yellower. MAC Until Dawn #2 (LE, $21.00) is yellower. Sleek MakeUP Meet in Madrid (LE, $9.99) is darker. Giorgio Armani #10 #2 (P) is less sparkly. MAC Rich Glance (LE, $21.00) is a cream product. Dior Night Golds #5 (LE) is similar. Dior Fairy Golds #2 (LE) is more sparkly. bareMinerals Kudos (LE) is less warm-toned. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
Giorgio Armani #19 Eyes to Kill Solo Eyeshadow ($32.00 for 0.061 oz.) is a brightened, cornflower blue with iridescent bluish-teal shimmer and a frosted sheen. It had semi-opaque color coverage, and it didn’t build up much more than that when I tried layering it. It’s the kind of shade that needs a white, tacky primer to really pop, or else apply it over a black cream eyeshadow for a really iridescent sheen. The texture was slightly powdery, though blendable. It wore well for seven hours before fading. ColourPop Kimono (P, $5.00) is darker. Hello Kitty Dear Daniel (LE) is less shimmery. Make Up For Ever I212 Periwinkle (P, $21.00) is less shimmery. Dior Rivage #1 (LE) is similar. MAC Moon’s Reflection (P, $15.00) is darker. Inglot #429 (P, $6.00) is brighter, lighter. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
Giorgio Armani #23 Eyes to Kill Solo Eyeshadow ($32.00 for 0.061 oz.) isa brightened, coral-orange with warm undertones and a soft, pearly shimmer. It had good color payoff with a soft, finely-milled consistency that was slightly powdery, though it didn’t sheer out readily so it retained most of its pigmentation when applied to the skin. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading. ColourPop Ex (LE, $5.00) is less shimmery, cream product. Sugarpill Charmy (P, $13.00) is slightly darker. Chanel Tisse Fantaisie #1 (LE) is lighter. Make Up For Ever I746 Watermelon (P, $21.00) is slightly darker. Kat Von D Placebo (LE) is pinker, less shimmery. Makeup Geek Mango Tango (P, $5.99) is darker. Disney by Sephora Arabian Sunset (LE) is darker. L’Oreal Cherie Merie (LE, $7.99) is darker. See comparison swatches

Giorgio Armani #23 is looks like such a gorgeous shade! 🙂
It is 😀 Very cheery!
#19 is gorgeous! I can totally see that smudged on the lower lash liner.
Oh, yeah, gorgeous over a blue/teal, too!
Leaving! Way over priced for the performance..Thank you for the review Christine!
No prob, Nicole!
Shame about #19, it’s a really unique shade.
Indeed!
Too bad — that taupe-y color is right up my alley. BTW, in the first part of the description paragraphs, they all say #10 — think that’s a type-o.
Thanks for the review, as always.
Fixed, thanks!
Oh, yikes. For $32 each, it must be A rated, and a shade that’s more unique.
I feel like the first few I tried were really good but a lot of the others I bought afterward were less impressive 🙁
#23 looks oh so lovely! <3
It’s a nice summery shade!
Too bad they are mediocre. Guess the Eye Tints look even better after this showing.
The Eye Tints are better for sure!
Oh, I absolutely adore color #19! How I wish it performed better! I’m thinking that blue-violets must be really difficult to do well.
They aren’t easy, that’s for sure!
I have my eyes on #23! Loving that coral shade!
Yay!!
Way too much money for this sketchy quality. Number 19 is such a beautiful blue shade, too. I think I’ll go with Kimono, though.
I was surprised that #10 wasn’t a knockout, given it is a neutral! #19… well, a bit more expected.
Yeah, I know. How did they mess up a nude tone? SMH The purplish blues…now, they are always a fickle bunch.
#23 is a beautiful color! I’d rather try one of the dupes though. The quality doesn’t seem worth the price
They could be better!
I love 19 🙁
Aww!
