- Do you like to travel?: Not really! The work to leave to go on vacation makes it hard for me to want to go on vacation, and then I end up missing home and Mellan! I’d rather get a massage and go for a really nice dinner out every few weeks than a week-long vacation (as far as taking a break goes).

Do you like to travel?: I love traveling but not the actual process of getting to the destination. It’s always stressful for me. The packing alone is a process haha

Do you like to travel?: Most just for work. I like to travel to experience the culture, rather then back on a beach and relax some where else.

Do you like to travel?: I LOVE traveling. Especially when it’s for work and on the company’s dime. 😉

Haul: My Givenchy Le Rouge Couture Edition arrived! Basically it’s Rose Dressing that comes with an extra case with floral print! LOVE. THAT. THING.
Weekend plans: Most probably blog work! Every single day I come to terms with the fact that I’ll never get all of it done LOL
Do you like to travel?: Only city trips! I am not the adventurous/outdoor type, so a city trip for a few days is really the ideal thing for me. I also end up missing the cats and chain call whoever is cat-sitting.
What a sexy Givenchy Le Rouge that must be!
It’s so pretty!!! I hope it’ll make it to the States. I had to buy it from the UK because I was told we wouldn’t get it here in Belgium.
Givenchy is such a weird brand, because they’re practically a whisper and are only carried at Sephora… primarily online here.
Here it’s also exclusive to one chain, and only in certain stores. Some LE pieces are also very VERY hard to find. I really hope they’ll expand because they have some really sweet stuff!
I know…I miss when they used to have counters in the US. Heir powder, blushes, lipsticks were a fave of mine. Then they closed them up and I had to find new loves. I used to love to walk into Saks and see what was new at the counter.

Haul: Kat Von D liquid lippie in Lolita & the Bobbie Brown cheek palette in Calypso. Much less of a haul than I thought it would’ve been for my birthday on the 23rd! I have some prospects for a bday haul, but I haven’t committed. I’m really doing well sticking to my low-buy! 😀
Weekend plans: I have someone else’s birthday party to attend on Saturday! Haha I’ve already celebrated with my family, and my friends & I will get together next weekend for a nice supper out.
Do you like to travel?: I love to travel! I’ve been on planes since I was 10 days old; I’m very fortunate to have had so many opportunities to travel throughout my life. In 2008 I went backpacking around Europe for 3 months. We went to 21 different cities in 12 countries over 12 weeks. It was the most amazing thing I’ve ever done! I spent my 21st birthday in Graz, Austria with a best friend who had been an exchange student in my home town during 2004/05. Over those 3 moths I went to so many museums, ate great food, met some really cool people that I’m still in touch with over FB. I’m 28 now, and I’m particularly proud that I was able to save up for such an unforgettable experience!

Haul: Really wondering if I should pick up the IT Cosmetics Buki set (from this past holiday season). It’s on sale and I need some good face brushes.
Weekend plans: Homework, studying, unfun things 🙁
Travel: I love it! Road trips with my friends are my favorite. We jam out to Taylor Swift and stop at all the interesting (sketchy) places we see.
What’s the longest road trip you’ve gone on, Ren?
Kentucky to New York! The trip there was really fun, we stopped in all the major east coast cities. The trip back was painful, 13 hour straight drive.

Haul: a BHA exfolient from Paula’s Choice. I placed the order last Saturday and received it Monday which was great, however the bottle leaked in the package. I contacted their customer service and they were really nice and sent me a replacement bottle. I’m very happy with the way they handled the issue!
Week-end plans: sleep, if I can. I’ve had trouble sleeping for a little more than a week and I’m not as nice to be around as usual…
Do you like to travel: YES! It’s my favorite thing to do with my time. I would travel a lot more if I could. My only issue is the heat, especially humid heat, so tropical countries are not my favorite destinations. If I won the lottery, travelling would be my priority, way higher up the list than buying things, aside for a house.

Weekend plans: cooking dinner for friends on Saturday, House of Cards season 3 on Sunday (love a good binge-watch;)
Do you like to travel: When I had a dog (I miss her still) I only went on vacation in my own country so I could take her with me, but now we have two cats so I can travel more easily. I like city trips to London, Rome, New York etc (I live in the Netherlands), and I like a week of sun now and then as well. Packing and the traveling itself I don’t like as much, though.

I hate leaving Mellan behind! I always get him a sitter or my parents/sister will take care of it, so he’s in good hands, but I miss that guy after 24 hours, lol! He’s actually at the groomer’s right now, and I miss him!

**Travel – Depends. Love if it’s for vacation. And love if it’s business travel to a nice city and company’s paying for it, but not like if it’s to a boring city.

**Oh, you should, Walgreens carries them online and in some stores. I got Wild Thing, a vampy purple burgundy and love it.

Haul: YSL Desir de Jour palette from the Belle de Jour collection and the purple/gray moire liquid eyeliner.
I bought the palette despite a few horrible online reviews. The shades are very pigmented and the pink one is wearable even for my NW-20 skin. I smile every time I look at this “makeup candy” palette (the top really looks like a confection). I’ve never bought YSL makeup and got lucky the first try! The liner is lovely and the brush a nice design. So I’m happy!
Weekend plans: Sewing projects, reading. Supervise the Honey-do spring cleaning of the kitchen cabinets and pot rack that did not get done this past fall.
Do I like to travel: In moderation. I’m a bit of a home-body but then I get cabin fever. Travel is indeed stressful and requires organization. You have to be up for the work of packing to go on vacation and then traveling and then ease into the relaxation and then gear back up to packing to go back home. It can be a lot of shifting of gears! I’ve known people who needed to recover from vacation!
But I love seeing new places and people! So I plan the travel impulse wisely!

Haul:This is actually 2 weeks in a way because the mail is nuts because we had a blizzard/actic type thing come through and I think it’s camping out here. I finally got a z palette for my mufe shadows! : Foundation and lipstick madness!: Guerlain Parure de lumiere and Lingerie de Peau (both in shades 02 and 03) and Koh Gen Doh aqua foundation (I had to get the 143 to mix with the 213). I have others on my list. so hopefully, I can stop at this! I am impatiently waiting for: my first Guerlain Rouge G lipsticks ever! I ordered Garconne,Gipsy,& Garrance. I am also still waiting for Josie Maran’s liquid powder, 3 mufe shadows, Nars Bette,Jane,Vivien, and Dominique, Burberry lip velvet in Military red and Rose pink.( I know..lipstick demon got a hold of me). I also restocked from the too faced Valentines sale their lip primer and picked up a glossy one too(new formula). I ordered the It velvet Luxe foundation brush that was reviewed this week . while I was at it, I added a crease brush so I wouldn’t have to pay shipping,lol. I know..I spent way too much. It was two weeks though. I need to slim it next week. Change of seasons stresses me because the weather changes so much here and usually it pretty abrupt. It requires complete skincare and foundation overhaul generally. I am hoping the 2 Guerlain foundations will work all year and I can stop doing the foundation dance every year.
weekend plans: So many errands to catch up on form the bad weather!
Do I like to travel: I love to travel. But , only because I prefer a warmer climate. I love the beach and I live in Cincinnati. May be a move in the near future for us though. Hoping so.:)

Haul: MAC Cinderella: Stroke of Midnight Eyeshadow Palette and Lightly Tauped Eye Gloss. Ordered the Glamglow Supermud Daily Cleanser, because the St. Ive’s Apricot Scrub has been wreaking havoc on my skin. I also read some pretty bad things about it, so I figured I’d try something different!
Weekend Plans: I’m doing my best friend’s makeup for her med school formal on Saturday, and I’m going to a Shakespeare Abridged show with another friend tonight 🙂
Do you like to travel? YES. I love it so much! I could pack my bags anytime and jet off wherever. I’ve always had a passport ready to go just in case 🙂 Also, F**k taxes. Being a grownup sucks.

I’m usually very lazy about wearing blush on a work day but I’ve been wearing Love Lust every day this week. PERFECTION.
My eye is fine! Just unfortunate that I have to drop money to get a new pair, which means no new makeup for a while, sigh.

Haul: Even though I bought it last week, my new Tarte Set from QVC arrived and so far I’m liking it and on the verge of loving it.
Weekend: Not 100% sure yet.
Do you love to travel? I LOVE IT. I love everything about it. I take my dog on trips too. He’s been to Switzerland, Austria, France, Italy, and all over Germany. His favorites were Switzerland, Italy, and our home in Germany. Because I was living there, he just got in the back seat and went along! Paris was the only place we didn’t take him.
When we were in Italy, he got to be on a farm and play with the animals. He tried to work cows and horses. The hares that were his size were a bit of a revelation to him. Plus we did a lot of hiking and walking to the beach in Tuscany. He used his skills of hunting and flushing game. He found us Sea Tortoises too. He was exceptionally put out we never followed his quarries. Once we found he’d been hunting a female boar, we leashed him for the remainder of the time in the area.
I Germany he played with the massive amounts of rabbits and he cautiously followed hedgehogs!
Awww! What kind of dog was he? It’s really great that you took efforts to take him with you 🙂
He’s half Black Lab and half Border Collie. He’s always ready to roll at 100% day or night! He’s about to be 7 and everyone thinks he’s around a year. He’s also too smart for his own good.

Haul: Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant (every time I buy it, I say “it’s too darned pricey; never again” but every time I finish it, I have to get another one because I like it so); Dermalogical After Sun body lotion (I think you can use it for the face too – I got it to use after waxing)
Weekend Plans: friend whose visit was cancelled by the last big storm is coming to stay and we’re going out for her birthday dinner to an Indian place I think she will love; I may try to get to the gym tomorrow morning and I have to start packing because….
Do you like to travel: Mostly yes. I don’t really like resorts (discovered that when we went to Jamaica) and I like to visit places where I can speak the language but, yes, I do like to travel even though the packing restrictions when flying are a pain. We’re leaving on Tuesday for a trip to Rome and then a Mediterranean cruise. The winter has been so dreadful here that I can’t wait. I really like travelling by car because I don’t have to edit my wardrobe or my makeup – just pack it all in.
Ah, sometimes if it works… it is worth it.

Haul: I brought my first Tom Ford product the brow sculptor in expresso.So far I like it especially because of the slanted tip, but not sure about wear time yet. Also ordered based on your beautiful eye looks Christine : the Colour Pop Rebound palette ,Pitch (brown) lipstick and the gold Get Lucky eye shadow. This will be my first order from Colour Pop so I’m looking forward to my package from them.
Weekend Plans: Catch up on some DVR shows like Grimm and Constantine. Also plan to watch a few Netflix movies. I’m reading a couple of good books too. Do some house work.
Do you like to travel: Traveling is one of my passions. I love getting away from it all. I get a kick out of learning about different cultures. I’m highly visual and enjoy people watching , architecture and trying different foods. Been to Africa. Europe and Canada. Next up Asia !!

I like being in another place, but I hate preparing to travel, it makes me extremely anxious.

Hi Christine! This is a tough question, I basically love everything I got this time 🙂 But, if I’m pressed to choose, I have to go with Tom Ford Savage, it’s an amazing color, extremely pigmented, and give this amazing sun burnt effect on the skin.
I would also like to mention how much I’m enjoying both the BareMinerals palette, the Nars palette and the Burberry quad. They are just beautiful 🙂
Oh, the Lancome brush also surprised me a lot as I hadn’t tried any of their brushes before, but it’s one of the best smudger brushes I’ve tried.
Savage is a nice color for sure 🙂
Haul: not much. I picked up the Nars All Day Luminous Foundation and a couple of sheet masks (Green Tea and Pomegrante) at Sephora. I also grabbed a couple of Maybelline’s Baby Lips as an impulse buy at the drugstore.
Weekend Plans: errands and starting to thin out our books so we can do a little redecorating.
I love to travel. My parents started us early; we went to Mexico when I was nine and my sister was two. After that, my dad took overseas jobs so we could travel all over Europe. My wife and I stick to the U.S. these days and our trips are usually baseball related. In a month we’re headed to Arizona to check out the Giants at Sping Training.
Arizona is really beautiful! 🙂 And you’ll be traveling when it’s perfect weather!!

Haul: Benefit’s new Dream Screen high SPF sunblock lotion, which I’m really liking so far. Too Faced lip cream in Stiletto Red – much love. And Bourjois blush #34, which is a golden pink, part of their LE spring collection. So pretty! Things were 3-for-2 at Superdrug so I also got a couple of shadow sticks, one medium grey and one that’s an unusual metallic sage green.
Weekend: nowt special planned, just puttering around the house, laundry, etc.
Travel: love it. I love activity-filled trips and city breaks; not a beach gal. A 10-day trip away somewhere is perfection. Agreed, the prep can be annoying, but since I live in the UK and fly back to Toronto approx. annually to see family, it’s all old hat and I can pack very quickly if need be.
Is the Dream Screen scented, El?
Nope, fragrance free and oil free. Doesn’t even have much of that naked sunscreen smell. Best part for UK consideration is that Benefit has a money-back guarantee on the new skincare, if you use it for 14 consecutive days and return it within 28 days because you don’t love it. Since we normally can’t return *anything* that’s been opened (and sometimes even when it hasn’t been, depending on store), that’s an excellent way to try the products out.
Awesome! 🙂 I remember Benefit’s initial roll out had SOOOOOOOO much fragrance in it.
Haul: LORAC Resort Palette (very nice!) and NuSkin Moisture Restore Day (low buy does not apply to my regular skincare).
Weekend plans: Hubby is working, so probably I’ll do something fun with the kids. Help my older son fill out housing applications. Cleaning and laundry, per usual.
Do you like to travel?: I love it! I wish I got to do it more often. I feel like Bilbo Baggins: “I’m going on an adventure!”

Haul: Chanel Virevoltante rouge allure, Chanel Laque Rouge polish, Burberry silk shadow Nickel, MAC Opera lipstick from the Toledo collection, Milani Sweet Nectar lipstick – I wanted to try an orange lipstick, and see how I like it before I commit to a high-end one, but that color looks terrible on me lol. I need something with a lot more red than yellow in it, I’m thinking of Chanel’s rouge allure Incandescente).
I ordered a new bag, a Rebecca Minkoff mini Crosby (it was on a very good sale at Bloomingdale’s).
Weekend plans: none, going with the flow :).
Do you like to travel? I love it actually! I love flying, but I don’t get to do that too often, we drive everywhere
What was the last road trip you went on?
The most recent long trip was to New York City last November.

I am stoked! ), Clinique All About Eyes Rich eye cream, Sephora Contour pencil eye liner pencils in Go For A Ride and Purple Stilettos, ELF Makeup Mist And Set, and two Maybelline mascaras; Colossal Cateyes w.p. in Glam Black and Lash Sensational w.p. in Very Black ( Ulta has Maybelline bogo).
Weekend plans: Same old same old, except I don’t need to redo my mani this weekend. Also, went food shopping and got a a few pieces of clothing.
Do you like to travel: Yes, but not over large bodies of water! So as a result, I have never left the continent! Lol! That has just always made me nervous. But I have done quite a bit of traveling around the different states. Miss that.

Haul: Just put in a sephora order- Origins ginger body scrub (it smells amazeing..) and Drybar Hot Toddy heat protector and frizz fighter (we’ll see how that goes, I haven’t had any luck with drugstore heat protectors and this one got good reviews).
Weekend plans: Saw Jupiter Ascending with my boyfriend, ate at Hard Rock, went swimming, and now am relaxing. 🙂
Do you like to travel?: Love it! Haven’t gone anywhere in awhile though, looking into cruises for next year. Haven’t been on one of those since I was a teenager and I remember it being a ton of fun.
