Haul: Everything from my Black Friday haul has finally arrived! It’s mostly skincare. Some stuff I’ve wanted to try and some stuff that I restocked on. My friend brought my a Bite High Pigment Pencil from the US and I got Burberry Nude Blush online. I heard the texture is more similar to Gold, and the color story is something I personally can’t have enough of!
Weekend plans: The husband needs new shoes so we might go look for some. Need to do some photos and sort the new products that came in as well.
Do you prefer watching a movie or a TV show?: Probably a TV show! I know it sounds bad, but after getting hooked on some TV series, a lot of movies are just too slow for me nowadays!
He doesn’t! He punctures them, just because he has, you know, big doggy teeth, when he picks them up, but he doesn’t destroy them. He’s not the dog that’ll sit there and tear off the eyes, then the nose, etc. methodically. He just grabs them and frolics around the house.

I also purchased Bad Gal Riri lipstick and Phresh out veluxe eyeshadow palette from last year’s Riri <3 Mac collection on ebay – I usually never ever buy make-up from ebay but this time it was someone doing a de-stash of all the products that they bought from limited editions but never used them, so I thought that this was reasonable and the products came in a perfect condition. Can I just say that I'm head over heels with the lipstick.. it's like my god.. perfection.

Weekend plans: It’s my birthday on Sunday, so we’ll probably go out to eat at a nice steakhouse.
Prefer TV or movie: It really depends on what is playing! I like watching movies, but I enjoy the fact that a TV show is shorter.

Yes it’s really nice! I should’ve known better than to order it without confirmation of it being Jersey though, I just kind of eyeballed the press/ sample picture used on the site. Also it’s the only Canadian site I can find that will stock & ship Chanel products, but I don’t know why there wasn’t a clear identification of the product. Oh well 🙂

Love it! My current favorite. It is the only green/plum combination I have so far, which makes it really stand out. And in terms of color combination, Nars Narssist Dual-Intensity palette is less interesting to me since I have a lot of similar cool tone shades already. (Don’t take it serious, I probably can’t resist it and would still buy it when it comes out! )

Buy more peanuts, seeds and birdfeed for the squirrel family in our tree and the birds. The squirrels now scratch on the glass of our patio door if they run out of food. Yeah, we’re suckers for cute animals.

Thanks. I love Naked On the Run. The bronzer leans a little too orange for me to use as bronzer on my pale skin, but it makes a lovely peachy colored blush. Works as eyeshadow, too, so I’m still very happy.
Vice Ltd is so much fun. All but one of the shadows is very nice, IMO. I’m seriously in love with Junkshow. Provocateur has major fallout. I can work with it, but it’s the most disappointing shade for me. I also wish Floss were true to pan, but it’s still nice. I didn’t have most of the colors in this, so it’s nice to get them in one place.

Movies always seem like such a big time commitment. When I’m browsing Netflix or whatever looking for something to watch, I’ll find myself thinking “ugh, a whole movie?” and then I’ll watch five episodes of an hour-long tv drama in a row.

Movie or tv? What I like best is a tv mini-series adaptation of a book. I find that movie versions really suffer because there isn’t enough time to cover all the details and characters in the book (2 examples, from very different times, that come to mind are To Kill a Mockingbird and Bridget Jones’s Diary). I love things like the serial adaptation of Cranford or All Creatures Great and Small (I guess I also love British stuff).

Mellan is SO cute!!! Our family dog was this really cute pom-mix, but he was a serial killer around stuffed animals. He would grab them, shake them around, then methodically chew off the eyes, nose, and ears. Kind of scary. But to him, it was just a chew toy

Haul: Despite my pledge at the beginning of the week to concentrate my spending to only bills and Christmas spending, I find myself with a stack of miscellaneous things that I picked up for myself this week! LOL I stopped at Walgreens this week to pick up photos, and saw that Wet n Wild was on sale, so I picked up backups for my Creme Brulee eyeshadow, as well as a bright blue color, a creme eyeshadow pencil in Techno (a nifty violet shade), and some lip gloss. Then today I went to TJ Maxx and found some Kat von D items that I had to have, a liquid lipstick in Outlaw and Sinner perfume rollerball, also a Bliss Fabulips glossy balm. I also picked up a NYX lipstick in Snow White, and from Sally’s Beauty Supply today I got Seche Vite top coat and some lip liner pencils that were on sale for 99 cents. I haven’t used Seche Vite before, but so many people mentioned it when posting about their nail routines, that I thought I should try it. I also bought some MAC products on Ebay and some Bare Minerals products on Ebay, but they haven’t arrived yet. Most of those are supposed to be Christmas presents, but we shall see…. 🙂
Weekend plans: Catching up on work that has been waiting, and trying to catch up on rest.
Do you prefer watching a movie or a TV show?: My wife and I are kind of movie addicts, we probably buy 2 or 3 DVDs a week on average, especially the old stuff. As much as I love binge watching tv shows on Netflix, I tend to keep movies playing in the background while I work. At the moment, I am watching Rosemary’s Baby.

Movie or TV show: totally depends on the item. Proably movie, although what I watch most of these days is YouTube/other internet based entertainment (like Cinema Snob, Yogscast, Gronkh, etc). Looking forward to seeing the Hobbit 3 next week ^_^
Haul (more like mini haul!): MAC Pure Zen lipstick, Sephora Contour 12 hr. eyeliner pencils in Sun Tan, Sailor Suit, and Tango Night, and redeemed 100 points for a Clinique Chubby Stick in Super Strawberry. Also got Wet n Wild Fergie Take On The Day eyeshadow primer because I have heard great things about it, especially for glittery eyeshadows.
Weekend plans: the usual ; wash and deep condition hair, get to my meeting on Sunday.
