Haul: Not much this week. Lorac Pro Matte Lip Color in Nude. I am loving it!! Also bought a new MUFE Matte Velvet Plus Foundation in a new shade. Been working on my tan 🙂

Haul: I went to the Chanel counter to pick up the Bon Bon lip glossimer, only to find out it was discontinued and they were out. (It was just there last week! ;-;) Instead, I walked out with the new Chanel Les 4 Ombres in Tissé Vénitien. Napoleon Perdis also looks to be leaving Target, so I grabbed the matte lipstick in Madrid to try it out.

Haul: At Shoppers Drug Mart I picked up the Shiseido eye cream with SPF since I can’t get my beloved Clarins SPF eye cream any longer and I also grabbed Maybelline Downtown Brown loose eyeshadow pigment and Bioderma Atoderm shower gel in a travel sized tube; I like it so much that I’m going back for the bonus sized special offer one they have; part of my IT Cosmetics order arrived – it’s the Showstopper from TSC and while most of the products are not new to me, the face trio, which is very new, is AMAZING – it has the most beautiful, perfect blush and also an illuminating powder that, IMO, eclipses the Hourglass ones I have
Weekend plans: yoga, putting our house back together (painters were in; we’ve got most everything back except for the 3 large bookshelves full of books – shelves are back, just not the books), baking for an upcoming bridal shower I’m hosting
Favourite toy growing up – probably a toss up between Barbie and my “Have Gun Will Travel” guns and holster (it even came with a set of business cards like those used on the show). Hey, it was the 50’s and I was a tomboy and kids actually did play with toy guns!

Plans – relaxing as its super awesome climate here in Pune – pouring every other minute and last night it was blackout for 12 hrs .. can you imagine ?
Fav toy – hahaha now i dont rem but yeah when i was pregnant my mom gifted me a small policeman doll kind of thing ” lucky charm ” hahah and that i still have and keep it safely 🙂

Weekend plans: I´ll organize my makeup stuff, my vanity desk..play with my new babies: Naked 3 palette that I bought last week, new foundation, I bought Alluring Aqua and Maleficent from MAC some time ago and can you belive that I didn´t use it yet?

Ren Rose Centifolia Purity No. 1 Cleansing Balm (this stuff is really great), Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair II (finally gave into the hype and it is amazing!), Elizabeth and James Nirvana White (finally a floral perfume that doesn’t turn metallic or bitter on me!), Originis Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask and Origins Drink Up Overnight Mask, Tarte Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation and the Tarte Airbuki Bamboo Powder Foundation Brush, MAC pan eyeshadows in Omega, Charcoal Brown, Brule, and Wedge.
Weekend Plans: Nothing really, relaxing after attending a wedding last weekend. Seeing Boyhood tomorrow night for date night with the boyf.
Favorite Toy Growing Up: Tie between Barbies and Baby Dolls. My best friend growing up and I would create families with the Barbies, or pretend to be mothers to the baby dolls and enact life stories for both scenarios.
What do you like most about Advanced Night Repair II? How is the scent?
Haul: Bobbie Brown lipstick in Brownie. I took advantage of this week’s Rite Aid sale on Revlon and I picked up two of the new Colorstay Moisture Stains in Stockholm Chic and New York Scene, Colorstay Gel Envy Nail Enamel in Showtime and Sky’s the Limit, Colorburst Balm Stain in Crush, and two of the Spiderman collection nail polishes in 1000 Volts and Super-Powered.
Weekend plans: Much, much work. I am starting the intro and literature review on that paper I mentioned a couple of weeks ago. I also have to sell a few things on Ebay.
Favorite toy growing up?: I remember having a Play-Doh factory set that I liked a lot. I also really loved a Wuzzles stuffed toy I had. I think it was Moosel. Wish I still had it. I had very few toys to call my own when I was a kid because I was forced to share with my sister. I was really into books when I was a kid (still am), so toys weren’t really that covetable for me.

I actually repurchased several because my parents gave away many of my old books. I have “The Lost Half Hour”, “A Wave in Her Pocket”, “Book of Virtues” and “The Lorax”. The others I mentioned are collections of stories. “Book of Virtues” a very nice collection and includes old favorites like “The Velveteen Rabbit”.

Weekend plans: Still more patio work. Playing nurse to my Mom who had 1 wisdom tooth crack down the centre and had to be remove. I cringe for her a she was in so much pain before going in to surgery.

Funnily enough the same dental surgent pull my Dad’s impacted wisdom teeth, Removed my not crown ones (all four to prevent impaction) and now my Mom’s.
At least she’s getting some power naps! Hope she feels like herself soon.

Eyeshadows : Simply Marlena, Wisteria, Shimmermint, Mermaid, Chickadee, Last Dance, Homecoming, Dirty Martini, Envy, and Stealth. I also got a Soft Dome Brush. I made a stop by Sephora yesterday and got Kat Von D Studded Kiss lippie in Homegirl and Smashbox Master Class III palette.
Weekend plans: I plan to start and finish a book for my bookclub meeting next weekend and catch up on a few tv shows. I also have to mentally prepare for the upcoming school year. I have a three-day training from Monday-Wednesday and in-service is the following week.
Favorite Toy: Cabbage patch kid.

So fast!). theBalm order from Hautelook, though the Cindy Lou-Manizer arrived completely broken up and the Rockstar Palette looked like it had been stepped on, and they would not let me return either! 3 Witches and Black Cat liquid lipsticks from Pretty Zombie Cosmetics, they are both fantastic and I will be ordering more from her.
Weekend Plans: White Sox game tomorrow night. Working on landscaping.

I don’t think they do returns but you should ask about getting a Hautelook credit. I got a broken Laura Geller powder a while back and they just gave me a hautelook credit.

Haul: I discovered a place near me filled with Japanese makeup. I may have indulged ever so slightly – but the prices were surprisingly great! 😀 They had Majolica Majorca, Shu Uemura, Paul & Joe, Kate, Anna Sui, Laduree, etc. Not the full collections, but it was exciting to see some new brands!
Weekend Plans: Gonna try and lock down that Snake Eyes look tomorrow (if the light’s good!) Otherwise, BALLET OMG. All the ballet.
Favourite toy growing up: I had (and still have – he’s sitting on the couch next to me as I type!) a wonderful stuffed clown doll. NOT A CREEPY CLOWN. He’s lovely 🙂 I’ve had him for 27 years!

Rimmel Lastin Finish Colour Rush long lasting intense colour balm in a fuchsia pink, I can’t find what it’s called and 2 Scandale Eyes eyeshadow crayons in 002 Bulletproof Beige and 009 Blamed blue.. Trying out a drugstore brand, so far it’s quite promising, It was the vibrant colours I fell for, I wasn’t going to buy any new makeup.
I also got 2 L’Oreal Feria haircolours, they were on sale, colour Blue black, a cooltoned black.
Weekend, going to the petstore to stock up on food for Stubbs and to buy a new collar for him as he broke the best one last week. He tried to catch a butterfly and went from standing still to I’ve no idea what speed in 0.00009 seconds or so,and the collar broke. one of the metal rings just opened. He isn’t even a big dog, but he is sstrong and agile. (Standard schnauzer, black)
My favourite toy was a real fur teddy bear. I still have him, a bit worse for wear, but even at my ripe age, I can look at him and feel that safe, warm, secure, nothing bad will happen feeling from when I was around three and got him for Cristmas.
I do sound pathetic, LOL. He lives in a secure box, without a lid in one of the closets. I will never get rid of him.
