Haul: UD Electric Palette, UD Grindhouse sharpener, Too Faced La Creme Lipstick in Lollipop, Buxom Lip Polish in Sarina, MAC Creme Cup, MAC Full of Joy blush, Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer in Terre Neuve, FAB Ultra Repair Cream, Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner, Maybelline Silkissime Highlighter Pencil, I mentioned this last week but my Sleek i-Divine Sunset Palette finally arrived, I got a sample of L’Occitane Ultra Rich Moisturizer…. and I’m still waffling on whether or not to buy the IT Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Vol. 1 Luxe Matte Palette. We shall see.
Weekend plans: Lawn work and shopping for entry door hardware. Spring weather is finally here and it’s time to clean up the garden. The entry door hardware is something we need because we just ordered a new front entry door for our house. My husband and I own an ancient (200+) year old house and although the main front door is in great condition AND original, the side-entry “front” door…. is a piece of junk, hahaha. It’s about time we replace it. Also planning a vacation to the Finger Lakes wine region in New York state for the summer and seeing the new Captain America: Winter Soldier movie.
What was the last movie you watched?: American Hustle
Planning a vacation – how fun! Will you be going for a long stay or more like a weekend trip?
I’m hoping for at LEAST a long weekend… we’re planning on 4 to 5 days in June at the moment. I’m excited! We haven’t taken a vacation since our honeymoon 2 and a half years ago!

There is probably a couple that overlap, but I think I only have five of the shades in the set (which are all reviewed on the blog if you search by name, you should find ’em!).

November is usually when I get new foundation anyway and since Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation in 01 is a staple but Sephora doesn’t carry it anymore I’m ordering directly from them again.

What was the last movie you watched?: I think it was Catching Fire, with a group of friends! We watched Frozen together before that, and we’ll watch Totoro next monday. Yep, I have good friends.

It’s so rare to find US version of Chanel quads off French ebay, because we can’t buy Chanel beauty products from a seller outside of France, due to legal issues. And I’ve been meaning to find Kaska Beige for so long! 😀 It works amazingly well on me, I’m so pleased.

Haul: I placed a huge order at Sephora for their VIB sale. I got a 4 pack of clarisonic brush heads, glam glow mask and hydrating mask, Josie Maran argan oil, 2 hourglass blushes diffused heat and mood exposure, smash box full exposure palette. And I’m headed to Macy’s tomorrow to pick up a mascara and 2 pop blushes from clinique. I think I have a problem with blushes lol…
Weekend Plans: Tomorrow is my BFF’s bday so we’re doing Mani pedis during the day and then going out at night. Plus have some school work and lesson planning to catch up on for Sunday.

I was considering platinum blonde for the summer, and my hairstylist said black to platinum is possible, but if the dark hair is a dye job, you run the risk of frying it. If it’s natural, you still have to bleach it out, but it won’t be quite as damaging – you’ll just have to touch it up frequently. My hair is dyed black-brown in the winter, and she actually suggested I wait awhile and let my natural color grow back in before I dye it.

Haul: Oh boy. I got more stuff than I should have. I had a bunch of coupons and there were some really good sales going on.
I picked up eight nail polishes. Revlon’s spiderman collection in I’m Electro. Maybelline Color Show in Frozen Over, Emerald City. Sinful Colors in Mint Apple, Rain Storm, and Nail Junkie. A Sally Hansen Gem Crush in Bejeweled. And a Nicole by OPI in Sweet Surrender. 😀
Rite Aid has a 40% off all L’Oreal cosmetics this week so I got four more Infallible eyeshadows in Eternal Black, Eternal Sunshine, Glistening Garnet, and Timeless Blue Spark. And a L’Oreal color riche extraordinary lip color in Plum Adagio.
Ulta had a BOGO on Nyx so I got four lip liner pencils in Ever, Cabernet, Hot Red, and Plum. Two aqua luxe liners, glam black and purple. But I can’t use them on their own because they sting my eyelid. :/ So I have to layer another liquid liner below it and then put these on top. Two butter glosses in angel food cake and devil’s food cake. I found a new MLBB: The lip pencil in Ever with Angel Food Cake on top. 😀
And last but not least, Milani ultrafine liquid liner in prismatic purple. These things are super waterproof. I don’t think I’m going to be buying any makeup for a little while.
Weekend Plans: Tomorrow is my dad’s 65th birthday so I’m baking him a red velvet cake and my brother and sister-in-law are coming over. And my three best friends are coming over to celebrate and have a good time. 😀 Today I’m going to my favorite sushi buffet for lunch with one of the best friends, $12 for all you can eat deliciousness. And tonight the same best friend and my other friend are coming over to play some video games. In short, I’m really excited for this weekend haha.
Last movie I watched: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. It was on TV the other day. 😀

Haul: It’s a lip week with 3 big winners: Guerlain Rose Grenat…love the coloured tube.. Wearing it today and it looks darker and brighter on me and rather look out world here comes my lips 😀 Ate my breakfast and it is still perfectly intact. Guerlain rocks! Also hauled Dior Sunset lippie and Shiseido Nebula lacquer gloss.

Weekend plans… nothing, really. Attempt #2 at wisdom teeth surgery on Monday so I’m just gonna… do nothing until then lol

Grr wisdom teeth surgery… Did that in grade 9 at the beginning of March break. 🙁 It wasn’t fun because they took them out before they crowned so that they would not ruin my adult teeth due to crowding. Large teeth, tiny jaw = Shark teeth looking rows. lol
But as a surgery it the least traumatic to do as they knock you out for it in my case. 😉
Tough week for haul, or easy, if thy pocketbook overrunneth. Have talked myself out color until next discount sweeps. I think I’ve winnowed it down to S: couple of big z-palettes for depotting Nars palettes, which get tacky on the palette itself. (only have a/c for the dogs, natch + the temp soars in Aug!) Product, thankfully is intact. Well, some of the lippies will need to go….. Put almost all nars palettes in the bedroom cosmetics refrigerator, along with most of his lippies. Ironically, products in the bathroom with all that steam have faired better. Only the rubberized stuff deteriorates here. Now, one of these palettes is the original, with no shade names on back, + since I got the 2 Nars 15 palettes, I guess the original must be at least 16 or 17 y.o. None of it owes me anything, but still, as a HOARDER + fan of vintage products…..
If any Tempie members/bloggers have links to their recs or videos on depotting, it would be greatly appreciated.
Therefore, w/e surfing for depotting videos, etc. I can’t do hair, so have no flat iron. BOO! Might move some of the furniture around, but gotta figure out how the sun hits the room hourly in summer, before I unload that Craftsman chest, move it, + reload. Also want to be prepared for fixing any eyeshadows I trash in depotting. Lots of references to alcoholing them….kind of evaporates, like cooking off in recipes. Somehow, I think maybe somebody’s mixing medium would be better. I doubt that paula B would approve of alcohol in your eyeshadow! Help me out!
Last movie: third millenium move: Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest, in the Swedish version. Was there a US? BTW, frequently I do competing 1/2 face looks, while watching a movie on the computer. THAT’s multitasking and pretty dumb. Doesn’t work too well with subtitles!

Rikki: love your blog + others of Christine’s links, but I can’t reply there. Hope you’re going all the way out for the extractions. I was your age + flipped out on the gas. Actually knocked someone out, who had to be taken to the hospital: out cold! They put me in overnight + general anesthesia for the next two! Thank god dentistry has improved over the decades. Maybe Versed would work. Discuss it with them thoroughly. Don’t go into it uninformed. Good luck + lay in the ice cream!

I didn’t haul anything beauty related this week, I’ve been stuck in the house nursing an injury. I DID order the mini primary liptar set from OCC, but it won’t arrive till next week.
Frozen was also the last movie I watched, I liked it, I’m a sucker for musical numbers.
My husband plays way, way more than I do. I’m a sore loser, lol! For some reason, with card games like Hearthstone (or MtG), I can’t remember the cards. Sure, I can remember a makeup collection from four years ago, but cards? They just don’t stick.
Shaun thinks the card costs too much mana, though 😉
It’s definitely high cost, but to get to look at that precious face on the board, worth it!

haul: most boring stuff from the sephora sale-brow wiz, lancome waterproof concealer, shi cotton pads, caudalie facial mist. i almost got some sephora liners, but i just spent a ton on liners b/c my second grader’s science fair project is “which eyeliner lasts the longest?” i now have over 20 black liners to test! it was hard to resist more of the sephora ones, though because i really like the two i have. i still might get a couple though. i’m going today to check out the new armani blush because that is the only thing i really want right now. everything else seems a little blah. maybe i have too much already? oh wait, i got a foundation and two powders from the koh gen do sale on haute look too.
weekend plans: my kids are having friends over and have bday parties to go to, so it looks like it will be a kids weekend unless i can find a babysitter so i can go see captain america with my husband.
last movie: my 4 year old was watching high school musical in the minivan while i was driving, does that count? if not it was probably frozen. wow, i think I’m officially old and boring!
LOL! You know, having your second grader do a test… just means you get twenty eyeliners in the process 😉

I also succumbed to the VIB sale, but only got a few things – a Sephora Collection lash comb & luster matte eyeshadow, and a Dior Addict lipstick (which I have been meaning to try forever). But I also ordered the IT Naturally Pretty palette from their own website, the latest Cult Nails collection (which arrived yesterday, yay!), and some Tom Ford brushes (from Nordstrom – had a giftcard). So I have a lot coming!
No real weekend plans, my wife is at a conference so I’ll probably just sleep and blog and read a lot.

Haul: Recently picked up Josie Maran Aragan Oil Light and GlamGlow Thristy Mud from VIB Rouge Sale b/c my skin was acting up. Online I ordered Korres Make up Break Up (I think that’s the name), The magenta Hourglass blush, the bite beauty cashmere bright pink lip color you reviewed recently, the dahilia perfume from nest. I feel like I left something out…
I went a little bit overboard at Ulta. both the Mally primers, Japonese brush cleansers, Seche, Jane eye liners, It Cosmetics serum/primer, Stila lip glazes, Lorac Unzipped (been lusting after this one), Urban Decay Electric (not sure about this one). I might pick up the Too Faced Sweetheart blushes today.
Plans for the weekend: Since Macy’s is having GWP might pick up the Clinique cheek pops. They look so cute/pretty. Bringing my sister to her college welcome day and maybe hiking after.

Haul: IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer (travel size) and a bunch of drugstore products.
Weekend plans: Sleep, finishing up winter anime (I know, I know…), replace my laptop’s clickboard, and maybe a trip to the hardware store to find a replacement shower diverter which broke yesterday.
What was the last movie you watched?: Oh geez, I actually can’t remember. I’m not much of a movie person, I’m afraid.

Haul: just brought the Clinque exfloiator and royal beauty blender. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll go to San Francisco and then go get Guerlain’s Joli Teint and waterproof Maxi Lash. Perhaps a purple eyeliner and an Illamasqua shattered stars polish in marquise. (That’s the orange one right?) I don’t like to buy more than I need, I don’t like being wasteful. So my stash is small.

Haul: MAC Viva Glam Rihanna lipstick and lipglass, Guerlain Rouge Aumatique in Coque d’Or, Revlon Cherry Blossom lipstick, NYX Taupe blush (it’ll be good for summer, but it’s still the teeniest bit warm for NW10 skin), and Maybelline Nude Compliment cream eyeshadow (yay, found a backup). Also, I’ve started collecting vintage lipstick tubes. My next project is to transfer my favorite shades over to them, so I’ve always got pretty makeup on hand. 🙂 I’m on light no-buy on this for awhile, though, since my car decided to devour $1400 worth of repairs this past week. 9_9
Weekend Plans: I’m seeing the Captain America film with my friend tonight, and I’m working the rest of the weekend.

I don’t watch a lot movies, so it’s not often I can remember either!
Haul: Oh dear….I went a bit to town with the VIB 15% off but I am at the point where I can’t well recall what I got. I know I got another Sephora Professional cream shadow brush and a Sephora lip stain (Strawberry), a Sephora eye shadow (The A List) and just today, I went and got Nars Snake Eyes eye liner just to get see how much I like it and if I’ll like it enough to buy that new one Christine showed here that arrives April 15 (Boo-something – I can never recall the name) and a Sephora smudger brush. Oh, I remember – I bought some Dior Creme Abricot (used it years ago and had forgot how great it is) and Bit Agave Lip Mask – honestly, it is the BEST!! I would have bought Clinique’s Pop of Plum blush but they were sold out of it. At Clarins, I got their newer Instant Light Complexion Base in Rose and Instant Concealer in 01.
Weekend plans: I’m doing another 30-day yoga challenge (I’ve convinced hubby to join me this time) so much of the weekend will be yoga. I want to make a big pot of chili this weekend to freeze for lunches for the next few weeks. And we might go to a movie on Sat. night.
Last movie: I can’t even remember, though I think we’ll go see that new one – The Hotel Budapest or whatever it’s called – on Saturday night.
I’ve made three orders so far, and I can’t promise there won’t be a fourth (depends if anything new that I want to review releases before it’s up). I think I have a few things I’ll order from ULTA, since that’s 20%!

Movie: i honestly can’t remember. I’m much more of a tv person, i don’t think i’ve watched a movie in like 3-4 months
How do you like hearthstone, Christine? I thought about picking it up for the free wow mount, but i’m not that into card games. Is it very difficult?
I like it, but I have little memorizing ability for games like it. I just don’t retain the information, and to play exceptionally well, it’s definitely key to be able to know what type of cards you’d expect your opponent might have – e.g. after 5 turns, a mage might play x, y, z cards that might determine what cards you play. But in terms of game play, I don’t think it’s too hard to learn and start getting into the swing of things.
I struggled to play long enough to get the blimmin’ mount and stopped. It’s not as fun as WoW imho 🙂 I got better at it, but I don’t think it’s that god, but for free, I’d give it a try if I was you 🙂

Weekend Plans: More homework for this grad student :(. Date Night Saturday with the boyf. Not sure what we’re doing yet, its my turn to plan and I’ve been so busy I haven’t figured anything out yet!
What was the last movie you watched: Man of Steel. Kinda boring, just lots and lots of action sequences and explosions.

Haul: Cosmetics wise, Ive been a good girl: nothing for me this week, although I’ve been compiling a wish list as long as my arm (wahahaha!) which I shall be working my way through over the coming weeks (poor wallet). I did get a dress though, does that count?
Weekend Plans: Today (saturday) will be going to an afternoon tea party for a couple of hours and then its on to a BBQ at a friends house (phew). Tomorrow: We’ve been invited out to a dinner party.
Am feeling tired already!
Last movie watched: Started watching Taken 2 with the lovely Liam Neeson last night (by that I mean he was in the film and not on the couch watching it with me!!) but (gasp!) fell asleep part way thru it. Will give it another go later when I’m not so tired!!

The dress is a sleeveless ruche-y design with some black in it as well. Its quite form fitting and rather flattering in the posterior area ( which at my age will get a thumbs up from me every time!)

Christine, have you ever considered reviewing/comparing the different scents of the Jack Black balm? I just looked at the site and omg, there’s a pear and white tea scent now?! The last time I searched for in-depth descriptions of the balms’ scents I didn’t find much except two of your reviews (which make me want the blackberry one!), and sometimes I want something more exciting than mint…
Haul: Urban Decay Electric, Formula X A Little Sexy, a cobalt blue Sephora liner that was on sale, an adorable $10 Tarte mini set, a Lancôme Définicils 100-point perk, and a couple of cute makeup bags from Sephora, and Viva Glam Rihanna lipstick and lipglass from MAC! I did some really, really pretty damage this week.
Weekend plans: Finish some homework for cosmetology class, study for a chemistry exam, and hopefully I’ll feel up to editing some photos myself.
Last movie watched: Uh…I caught, like, the first five minutes of “Naked Gun 33 1/3” this morning while finding something else to veg out with, but the last movie I can remember seeing in full was “We Need to Talk About Kevin” (which I don’t really recommend even Googling for the faint of heart). I watch TV far more often, and a couple of weeks ago I binged on “American Horror Story: Asylum.”
I haven’t, but I don’t have most of them! I prefer the lemon and mint, lol! I meant to try the shea butter one but it was OOS last I looked at Sephora.

I wouldn’t mind having the Suit and Tie Smellan card in my deck. At the moment I’m submerged in Diablo III Reaper of Souls, though. Love it! So much fun.
Haul, I went and had my eyebrows threaded and bought a Babor eyebrow pencil, seem OK
Then I went past Sephora, I was just going to browse but left with MUFE HD Pressed Powder,Benefit Porefessional and Fake Up in 01 light, Ole Henriksen Ultimate lift eye gel roll on, Sephora eyeshadows in Midnight Kiss and Picnic in the Park (purple and green). Formula X Base and Top coat and Equinox. Blotting paper, a small bottle of Micellar water, just to try it and a lash comb/eyelid protector thingy. I also got a sample of Benefits BB creme.
Then I took a detour and ended up at a MAC counter, I swear I was just going to look at Lady Danger, just look… I bought it, love it. I also got Heroine, I love my purples! And for good measure I got the lip Prep and Prime.
Was Pink Poodle one of the MAC by request lipsticks? It’s one of my favorites, I have it from when it was sold aeons ago, and it’s still good.

Shaun’s been playing a lot of D3 since RoS released! I played some, too, but things are pretty busy on the blog so I haven’t had as much time to play!
What character are you playing most?
I decided to try Crusader, quite fun a bit on the easy side. I used to play Demonhunter, but as the ranged mostly are quite weak when they get hit you need to do a lot of evasive moves, and that isn’t my strong side, I actually prefere the Crusader.
In WoW I play a Paladin, guess that’s not surprising 🙂
In raids I did like to play Hunter, though.
I also liked the Monk (in DIII), but she’s (all my chars are female) still just in lvl 5 or 6.
So much fun finding gamers where you don’¨t expect to 🙂
My husband and I joked that I should stream playing ranged, because I’m pretty awful at it – like so bad it’s hilarious. You can’t even imagine just how poorly coordinated I am!
My main on Diablo is a monk… I am best at melee, because I’m not great at evading damage, so I need to be able to take some, lol! My main in WoW is a death knight!
