- Haul: I have an Ulta order that’s supposed to arrive later today!
- Weekend plans: I desperately need to clean my office. Half of it is covered in makeup brushes! I’d like to do that, and then the usual — grocery shopping, brunch, annoy Mellan.
- Favorite flower?: It’s usually sunflowers, sometimes tulips, and more recently, peonies!

Mellan LOVES to bite and lap at the water!
Haul: Chanel Intonation blush (absolute love) and a cute salmon pink and purple cardigan from COS. I’m also seriously eyeing Chanel Diapason eyeshadow, and Chanel Orchidée Rouge Coco. I’ve been desperately wanting more spring colours lately, after a somewhat long no-buy period (not self imposed, I was just uninterested).
Weekend plans: I have loads of work to do. Fortunately, I’ll be also going out with friends on sunday!
Favorite flower?: blue forget-me-nots!

Haul: I got a few items at The Makeup Show LA last weekend! My favorite items I got are my new Ellis Faas foundation & my new/replacement Ellis Faas concealer.

Weekend plans: Bake like a madwoman, because I’m providing the snacks for after church service on Sunday. Currently planning on loads of muffins and breakfast breads.

Haul: I really need to have a week where I can answer this with “Nothing!” because my buying has been out of control lately! I am thrilled because I finally found a Guerlain Perles du Dragon totally accidentally, and it’s been on my wishlist for AGES. I also got a Crazy Paris meteorites jar… and perhaps Perles d’Azur. Can you tell I’m in a Guerlain phase? Ha! Other than that, I got come Caudalie Beauty Elixir, both bareMinerals ready lumninizers (The Love Affair and the other one!), a couple of Revlon Legacy Collection lippies, Guerlain Terra Soleia, some Rodial skin products… see the issue?! I blame you, Christine! I’ve been in a very highlighter/bronzer-y phase and reading your reviews of some of these has set me off!!
Weekend plans: Watching a lot of Breaking Bad. I’m way behind the curve on this, but my SO and I have just gotten into it lately.
Favorite flower: Hmm, I don’t know if I have one. I do really like ranunculus(es?)…
Side note: Christine, have you ever posted (or would you ever) a photo of your makeup room? You must have an entire room (or entirely separate HOUSE! ha ha) dedicated to all the products you have. I’m curious to know what you do with things once you’re done with them, if you give them away to family and friends, if you keep everything in a very scientific and precise organizing system, etc 🙂 Love this site so much and I’m on here every day!

Haul: La Roche Posay facial sunscreen (Anthelios? I think that’s the name); a honkin’ big bottle of Biolage shampoo and I think that’s it (I wanted to pick up that new Maybelline Colour Tattoo but it wasn’t in the store yet)
Weekend plans: it’s the start of March Break here and since I’m not going anywhere (it’s a crazy time to travel), we’re doing a few “day trips” and beyond that, I’ll be taking it easy and trying to get to the gym more regularly (and yoga too)
Favourite flower: peonies – such beautiful, old-fashioned flowers – and lily of the valley. Early daffs and tulips are lovely too because they’re such symbols that winter is finally over (we hope). I’ve actually been buying a lot of bunches of florist tulips in the past weeks to put in the house because this winter has been so horrible.
I’ve been trying to track down the last Color Tattoo but no luck yet! Haven’t seen another display except the one I raided already.
Haul: I brought a Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser, toner and moisturiser which cost me a bomb but lucky for QVC easy payments.
Weekend plans: Lots of sleep, films and relaxing.

Haul: Textbooks. Heavy, expensive textbooks.
Weekend plans: My boyfriend’s birthday is on Sunday, so we might do something for that. Mostly I plan on studying, though.
Favorite flower: I’m not a big fan of keeping/looking at flowers (floral scents, they die, allergenic pollen…) but I do like tiger lilies, mostly because my godmother gave them to me one or two times, and she passed when I was really young. I also enjoy “exotic” flowers like orchids. Flowers are all pretty interesting from a scientific view, though!

I do not miss buying textbooks at all. So expensive, heavy, and boooooo!
I can’t wait for the day all textbooks become e-books. I’ll probably not be in school anymore, but I can still dream!

Haul: I don’t know if this is really a haul, but I bought Nars Final Cut blush. It’s definitely going to be my favorite blush for spring; it’s such a gorgeous shade!
Weekend Plans: Catch up on much needed sleep then work on a paper.
Favorite flower?: This is kind of a hard one to answer (but I have a difficult time picking a favorite anything). Maybe tulips.

Haul: I found the Maybelline Dare to Go Nude Collection at CVS! I bought three of the lipsticks and glosses and all of the Color Tattoo’s except the copper and black ones. I loved the Color Elixirs so much I went back and bought four more from the permanent collection haha, and there’s still a few I’m eyeing 😉 I’m expecting an Ulta order today as well, along with my Urban Decay order. So excited! I also found the new L’Oreal Collection Privee and got four of the lipsticks, but honestly I’m not too crazy about them (kinda sheer).
Weekend Plans: Work out! Maybe do some cleaning.

Hee hee, looks like Mellan feels right at ease there with the water! My Lenka hated bath time. She’d spread out all four legs and put on her invisible hand break and refuse to go in. So I’d have to carry her into the shower and get in with her.
Haul: Does something as boring as shower gel count? If so, then shower gel.
Weekend plans: Not sure… If my blog move goes smoothly, then I’ll probably spend a lot of time tweaking the new website. And if not, well, then I’ll just go with the flow and see what the weekend brings 🙂

Plans: Heading out to WalMart tomorrow, and hopefully find the LE Maybelline Cooor Tattoos. My local CVS didn’t even havena space for them the other day, so I may also check back there.
Flower: Roses. Preferably red, but all are beautiful.

That photo is hilarious! I think we need to see a video of Mellan biting the water! Does he bark at it, too, because that always cracks me up.
Haul: Bite Lip Mask and NARS Matte Multiple in Siam (I discovered that I actually like how they feel on my lips! I can’t feel the slightly powdery texture as much as other creamy lipsticks, so I like it!).
Weekend plans: Volunteering, Souplantation for grilled cheese focaccia and tomato soup, cleaning.
Favorite flowers: I like roses growing on rose bushes because they smell wonderful. I literally always stop and smell the roses! I have a flower-eating cat, so I can only really enjoy flowers outside!
No barking, just biting/trying to drink it! 🙂
Haul: My Shiro Cosmetics order finally arrived, so there was quite a bit. Shiro cosmetics loose shadows in Steve, Nic Cage Raking Leaves on a Brisk Afternoon, A Terrible Fate, Master Sword, Kaebora Gaebora, Hodor, Housewife, What’s That Smelt?, Equivalent Exchange, Twilight Realm, Temple of Time, Elite Four, and samples in Rebellion and Not Drawing Room Fashion. Also picked up Revlon’s matte balm in Showy.
Weekend Plans: Working night shift in the IV room all weekend!
Favorite flowers: I’ve always been partial to roses and orchids.

Haul: I found a small NYX counter at a department store here in Mexico and got a Butter Gloss in Tiramisu and a Love in Florence eyeshadow palette in Love, Eat, Be Fab!
Weekend plans: House cleaning, time with boyfriend, do some reading
Favorite flower: I love tulips and roses, but also the small flowers of cherry, peach and pear trees – so pretty!
Mellan is the star of FFHF, so adorable!! My Lab Kasumi also loves to “bite” water and splash on puddles, but she doesn’t enjoy baths at all…though I think that if she saw a pool or lake, she wouldn’t hesitate to jump in!

Haul: Just ordered some NYX lipsticks in celebration of my new job.

Plans: Hang out with the hubby and maybe play a little Warcraft.
Favorite Flower: Crocuses. It (and Snowdrops) is the very first flower of spring here in Michigan, so it gives me hope that winter is on the verge of being over.

Haul: Got a couple of the new spring 8 pan Wet and Wild eyeshadow palettes, gold and purple. I wore the gold over primer and got a nice look. I own way too many purple eye shadows but the lavender colors won me over.

I need some office equipment to organize my printed mails, memos, documents and so on. And I started watching season one of the Gilmore Girls aging. I think I will continue that.

Haul: I swear, it’s getting crazy – the big ad signs are up for the new Revlon matte and lacquer balms…but the displays are still empty – they haven’t released the actual product yet! It’s been like that for literally more than a month…
Weekend plans: Ballet, thesis – and on Sunday the dance school is having an open day, so the classes are all $5! Hence: MORE BALLET!
Favourite flower: I have many that I like, but at the moment it’s a plant with little sprays of blue/purple flowers that have a soft, sweet scent. It grows at Uni, and the scent reminds me exactly of a discontinued kind of dessert called Daisy Pudding that was the ambrosia of my childhood. 🙂
A lot of times he’s in the bathroom when I shower, and I swear he’s jealous the whole time.

-TheBalm (via Hautelook) Cindy-Lou Manizer, Bahama Mama bronzer, and Schwing liquid liner.
-Tarte Aqualillies Glamazon lipstick in Timeless. (I’m so glad it’s back! It is so gorgeous and you actually get a standard amount of lipstick for the price. Tarte normally gives us way less, 0.07 oz vs the 0.13 oz I’m getting for Timeless.)
My weekend plans: Work, as always. 🙁

Haul: got my first ever Givenchy le rouge lipstick in rose dressing on Wednesday. Love it so much I’m going to get mandarin bolero and carmine escarpine in the next week or so.
Weekend plans: Its now Saturday night here in NZ and I’m having a well earned rest after having 12 people over for lunch earlier today. Was up at 7.15am vacuuming and dusting and making my two egg pavlova and some assorted nibbles.
Favorite flower: I quite like magnolia flowers and frangipani.

Weekend Plans: Getting through my random checklist of stuff-to-do! Topmost of the list is to read a book and submit a paper on it.
Favorite flowers: Hmmm…orchids and gladioli. I also like tulips, sunflowers and hydrangeas.

Haul, I bought the Smashbox Full Exposure palette and from MAC Face and Body Foundation in C1 Paints in Bare Canvas, Lipglass Viva Glam Rihanna, and two brushes, 217 and 106. Finally got the 217 and I love it, the 106 is shredding, very annoying. The Foundation was a repurchase, the Paint is just for base so not very exciting. The Smashbox palette is OK and I love the Viva Glam!
Weekend, walking the dog, maybe do a bit of cleaning.
Fav flower, roses, white roses also old fashioned roses in all colours, the kind that have the really rose-y scent.
The palette is just okay? That’s kind of what I’ve been hearing 🙁

Haul: Arrived Monday or Tuesday – a Fyrinnae order! I haven’t ordered in ages and they were so quick (within a week) despite the 30 day time on the website!! I purchased minis of Hypercool, Enchanting Otters, Peppermint Vodka and Sloth Snuggles. My free sample was Frostbite. Sloth Snuggles is the only one I’ve had a chance to try out and I’m not sure how I feel about it. Lovely as a swatch, not so much yet on my eye.
Weekend plans: Work all weekend, try to spend time with my daughter and hubby!
Favourite flower: So many!! My mom’s a florist and we had our own gardening business for a while. But I always go to Lavender, Peonies, Poppies and Eryngium (Sea Holly).

Mellan made me giggle — always nice. Our cat, Moses, loves to drink warm shower water. He actually gets IN the shower. Freak!
Haven’t been hauling anything but myself in and out of the hospital since mid-January. I was admitted for 8 days and have been on a liquid or mechanical liquid diet since. My hair is falling out by the handful, and I’m having a ton of complications from not being able to eat.
Just can’t seem to get ahead of the health curve the past few years. 🙁
