*Haul – UD 100 Degrees lipstick , CosRx 2-in-1 Poreless Power Liquid, and IT Small Shadow Brush #220 (backup)
*Weekend -amusement park with friends/playdate for the little one
*Vacation – probably Disneyland later this year
I want UD 100 degrees! What do you think?
Tammy, sorry for slow response. For some reason, I’m not getting notifications when people comment on my response. On me, it’s a gorgeous warm coral, with lots of shine, nice bright pop of color on lips, perfect for summer. It’s in their sheer finish formula, but there’s plenty of pigment, and from looking at various online swatches, the color will pull more coral pink red and others will pull more coral orange red, might depend on the batch or your natural lip color. The color’s kind of a stretch for me, but the shiny glossy balm finish makes it a lot more wearable, and I can sheer it down by applying a thinner layer or putting some SPF lip balm on top. It’s moisturizing and comfortable to wear. But I think it will look gorgeous on you and something to consider, if you don’t have dupes already.
Hi Katherine,
There are no records of any requests for subscriptions from you within the last 30 days. I’m wondering if you are not be choosing to subscribe – the default is “don’t subscribe” based on new regulations passed in the EU, which was implemented in late May. Users have to affirmatively select an option to subscribe from the drop down menu (all comments or replies only).
Christine, I was subscribed and getting notifications of email comments, but it stopped, just noticed it today. Must be the changes due to those new regulations. I will have to remember to hit “replies to my comments”. Thanks for letting me know!
You should still get any notifications for say, a post from before then, but yeah, I’m not seeing any subscriptions for your email address for anything after May 20th (but I am seeing other people with subscriptions and am seeing those emails being sent out, people receiving/opening/clicking the links, so I know the functionality isn’t broken!).
Haul: Some Real Techniques brushes from the Ulta sale. I got the Brush Crush 302 blush and 305 shadow brushes and the shade + blend duo pack. The brushes in the shade + blend pack were larger than I expected and I might return them. I wish RT still sold the shading brush separately because it’s my favorite lid brush.
Weekend plans: Packing & cleaning today. Leave for a week at the cabin tomorrow.
Upcoming vacation plans: The annual 4th of July cabin week mentioned above. Also spending a week at Table Rock Lake with my brother & sister-in-law in September before heading to St Louis for 3 days for our cousin’s wedding.
That sounds like you have a fun week or so ahead. The Table Rock Lake looks like a beautiful spot and a wedding in St. Louis would be wonderful too.
Haul: CoverFX Power Play Foundation, ABH Dream Glow Kit (I really feel like I’m going to return this b/c 2 or 3 of the shades look exactly the same on my skin tone), CoverFX High Performance Setting Spray, Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Waterproof Powder, Becca EverMatte Poreless Primer, Pat McGrath Highlight Trio, & Melt Cosmetics 27 Palette… I know I know it’s a super boring palette, but for some reason I had to have it.
Weekend Plans: I’m doing a workshop to help improve back strength and back bends tomorrow, so that should be fun.
Do you have any upcoming vacation plans?: I’m having a staycation starting on Monday, and the next week I’ll be traveling to Chicago to compete in a pole competition.
YAS QUEEN! Video pls! How exciting!
Improving back strength is so important to people of all ages in order to avoid back problems. That would be a beneficial workshop Jessica.
Good luck in your upcoming pole competition, you must be pretty good at it.
HAUL: Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner, really not impressed with the application! I got it as a freebie GWP, so maybe it’s a little old or something. It chunks up on my brush so when I go to stroke it on it makes a horribly wavy edge. I get my general shape on and then I need to go back and try to crisp it up. It also streaks a little and needs two coats. I mean, it’s not a wretched product. I’ve been wearing it every day for the last two weeks and it always turns out looking good without toooo much effort and it wears well. Just not as fluid as I’d like. I do love the color, Indigo Ink, a very dark navy with a slight greenish edge. You can’t beat Bobbi’s color selection of gel liner.
WEEKEND: Pickling, pool party
VACATION: Nothing planned really, just some beach days!
Aw – feed me face!

Weekend plans: Blog and mani as always. It’s supposed to be a heat index of 110 here on Sunday so…yikes!
Do you have any upcoming vacation plans?: Yes, will be heading to Maine and Nova Scotia.
OMG, that’s so cool! Eat some LOBSTAH for me!
Haul: 3 Sigma angled kabuki brushes, they were only $8.75 each on their sale!! Also picked up Sigma Pet Name blush, looks like a dupe for Nars Sex Appeal.
Weekend plans (also vacay): Pirates Regatta/friend’s birthday weekend off the grid in the gulf islands of BC. Will go makeup free for a change!
Envy. BC, I mean. Think I answered BC on the travel question.
I took advantage of Sigma’s brush sale and got some great deals, too, but I haven’t received them yet, so I’ll put them in next week’s haul report. What a good sale that was!
Ohhh, I love it out there but I’ve only been to Vancouver Island.
Haul:
*Macy’s — Urban Decay Born To Run Vice Lipstick in Marfa, 66, and Ready; Born To Run 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Overdrive; UD lipgloss sample; GWP deluxe sample All Nighter Setting Spray, mini Vice Lipstick in Backtalk, and Born to Run Luggage Tag.
*Apocalyptic Beauty subscription — Spider Queen: E/s in Arachne, Purple Bloom Tarantula, and Black Widow, blush in Recluse, and glitter in Tangled Web.
Weekend plans: Finishing packing up my mother’s house and moving stuff out.
Do you have any upcoming vacation plans? No. Our trip to Australia is on indefinite hold. 🙁
Noooo! Get to that vacay girl, you deserve it!
Thanks, Erin. I’m hoping we’ll get out there in a few years’ time.
Rachel — best wishes on clearing out your mother’s house. I lost my mother about a year ago after a long illness. Whole thing is so difficult, and the clearing out belongings is weird and painful. Hang in there and take care of yourself.
Thank you, AB. My mom was a hoarder, and had a compulsive shopper friend who enabled her, so her house has been a nightmare to go through.
We finally finished it today, though some stuff was just moved to a storage unit for future evaluation. She rented, so at least we don’t have to deal with selling a house.
I have a friend who is just getting set back up after being homeless, so quite a few furniture and household items will be given to her.
It’s a hard slog packing up your mum’s house and deciding what to keep, what to donate and what to throw away. Thinking of you in my prayers Rachel.
Thank you so much, Genevieve. 🙂
Haul: Mac Oh Sweetie Lipcolour in Creamy Peach Pie! I literally grabbed this last night so I haven’t had the chance to wear it yet. I wanted to smell it in person first and the scent isn’t that strong so I had to have it.
Weekend plans: My brother will be leaving for the Fall Semester soon so I’m trying to cram as much time as I can in with him. He’ll be going into his first apartment this year versus having a dorm so it will probably be a while before I see him again.
Do you have any upcoming vacation plans? Nope! I don’t have enough time off from work this year to take a vacation 🙁
What a shame you don’t have enough time to take a small holiday Alana and I hope that your brother settles in well to his first ever apartment. Does he know how to cook and wash his own clothes? I only say that because when I first moved into a self catering set of apartments at university, I taught a couple of the boys in our unit on how to launder their own clothes (separate the whites and coloured etc). One of the boy’s mum sent me a beautiful casserole dish as a thank you present, which I still have and use to this day.
ULTA “20% OFF” HAUL: Mostly bought backups (Estee Lauder Double Wear in Desert Beige, Clinique Mild Face Wash, NYX Proof It Waterproof Eyeshadow Primer). I also bought Urban Decay Mattifying Powder to keep in my bag for touch ups. Freebies included a really nice size sample of Clinique Even Better Foundation that looks like the right shade, though the coverage might be too light for me. And now I’m kicking myself because there are a couple more things I want, but I’ve already used the coupon. 🙁
COLOURPOP “FREE SHIPPING” HAUL: Lux Lipstick in Cheetah. Ugh, it looks awful on me. But mixed with MAC Matte Royal it makes a really nice medium purple. So there’s that.
WEEKEND PLANS: Family, chores
UPCOMING VACATION PLANS: Nothing until November!
Mellan’s face is mine every single morning until I have my coffee!
Haul: I couldn’t resist. Had to buy 1 more item in the MAC x Aaliyah collection, At Your Best You Are lipglass x’s 2. It is well worth it, too! Went to Ulta with my daughter on Monday because when she came over for me to give her the items I bought for her from MAC x Aaliyah, she emphatically told me that we were going to go get UD Born To Run! My damage wasn’t too bad (20% coupon), I did buy UD BTR Palette, Smashbox Always On pencil eye liner in Fishnet, and Jack Black lip balm in Lemon. I really need to cool it, and go on a no-buy except essentials.
Weekend plans: Food shopping, possibly. Otherwise, just the usual stuff.
Do you have vacation plans for this summer: Nothing firmly planned, yet. I had really wanted to go back east to visit friends in NJ/NY. but I don’t particularly like vacationing all by myself. So, idk.
I ended up getting the Aaliyah eyeshadow palette, 1 in a Million gloss, and Street Thing lipstick. They were too pretty to resist.
You got a very cool combo, as every person I’ve seen who paired Street Thing with 1 In A Million together has gotten a gorgeous purplish black glossy lip look out of them!
That’s what I was hoping for from them. I hope I like the eye palette as much as I think I will.
Haul: I HAULED! Not makeup, Pottery Barn was having a sale so I bought a whole bunch of pillow covers. Whoopsie.
Weekend: A friend is coming to stay with us for a bit over this weekend and into next week. Other than that shopping for food and trying to get my hubby to tell me where he wants to eat for his birthday.
Vacation Plans: I wish! We’ll probably wait till it cools too and go to the grand canyon or Sedona. Maybe Santa Fe or over to the ocean.
I love Pottery Barn!
Haul: Murad Resurgence Reintol Youth Renewal Serum (Ulta 20% coupon); Amaterasu Liquid Brow Liner in Brunette; samples of foundation, primer, bronzer and highlighter from Vapour Organic. The Amaterasu is a real find for me. I liked the Milani eyebrow pen but it had a red undertone. This one does not and it stays on all day.
Weekend plans: None. It is supposed to be really hot and I plan on following Mellan’s example.
Upcoming summer plans: Lots of friends coming to visit throughout the summer. I have one weekend planned to go to a meditation retreat. We tend to vacation off season.
Haul: Glasses! I have an eye exam and get new glasses every three years. I have been in progressive lenses for the past 6 years, and progressives are significantly more expensive than single vision lenses. The eye doctor did an outstanding job with my prescription, I can really tell a difference. I also had to pick up a pair of computer glasses. It will be three months of restricted cosmetic hauls for me while I’m paying them off. Already my makeup withdrawals are painful ?
One of my struggles this month was the Giorgio Armani sale, which just ended yesterday. It’s time for a fresh bottle of Luminous Silk. The Armani order would have pushed me just slightly over my budget this month. Normally I would just order anyway, but I decided a budget is a budget and I’m going to stick with mine. Of course I’m proud of myself but still disappointed I missed the sale. If it had lasted two more days, I could have purchased my foundation.
Additional expenses during the summer also include five family birthdays (my husband, two grandchildren and two son-in-laws), family get-togethers (birthdays, father’s day, July 4, etc.), and annual vet visits/shots/flea medicine for my three cats.
Despite the new makeup withdrawals, my stash is definitely getting some love and almost every day I am surprised to rediscover how wonderful the products are that I already own. I know I’ve probably mentioned this several times before, but I can’t get over how mich I love Guerlain’s Lingerie de Peau B.B. cream. I mostly mix it with a drop of face oil and pat the barest amount onto my skin, but this week I’ve been applying it with a beauty blender, and mother of god, it is so pretty. To me this is full coverage, although I’m sure others who actually wear full coverage foundation would say it is not. I would normally be uncomfortable with this amount of coverage but it looks so nice. I’ve set it this week with Becca’s Blurring powder or IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores powder. Both work fine. I have been using the Cover FX primer for acne (sparingly) as I have now developed menopausal acne after over 30 years with almost no blemishes. I have been using Hourglass Dim Light for finishing, and then spritzing all down with the Marc Jacobs Coconut spray. Though I am prone to oily t-zone, especially in the summer, this combination has been leaving me looking luminous but not greasy.
Other stash loves: Chanel Code Elegants eyeshadow quad, Tom Ford Cocoa Mirage Eye shadow quad, Tom Ford Love Lust Blush, NARS highlighter in Fort De France, and Chanel Rouge Coco Gloss in Noce Mascata with any nude lipliner.
Weekend plans: Saturday will be laundry, gym and making Cuban black beans. Sunday will be a second workout and meal preparation for cheeseburger salad and a summer chicken salad. I have the 4th and 5th of July off, so I am looking forward to taking some time for myself. On July 4 I am taking my granddaughter shopping for clothes for her 13th birthday.
Vacation plans: This month I am taking July 5 and July 14 off. These are mental health days, no plans. I need unscheduled time for self-care.
I love your statement: “almost every day I am surprised to rediscover how wonderful the products are that I already own.” I need to take this to heart. I own so much fabulous makeup that just doesn’t get used enough.
Good on you for taking some time off Tammy.
Best of luck shopping with your grand daughter for some clothes for her birthday. It’s best to take her with you as you would probably never guess what she would like.
It’s so good to shop your stash and rediscover the palettes and lipsticks that you haven’t worn for awhile. Do you have other foundation you can use instead of the Armani Silk?
We have a run of birthdays like that in the beginning of the year – you just get over Christmas when we have Lachlan’s (Feb), Olivia’s and my husband’s (March 4th and 5th), Anika’s (April 4th) and then Easter…..Plus all the bills inbetween. A very broke time.
Haul: I bought two NYX pencil eyeliners in a moment of craziness at Target last weekend. I have been on a very low buy and for some reason I just wanted to buy SOMETHING. They’re very glittery, much more so than I had expected, and I don’t exactly regret it but I’m kind of scratching my head as to what to do with them. Not something I would have bought if I’d planned it out, but sometimes it’s fun to just be impulsive. (SOMETIMES, not all the time, like I used to be…hence the low buy.)
Weekend plans: Immigration protest on Saturday, then nothing specific. I have been having bad anxiety lately so I think I need to chill out.
Upcoming vacation plans: Nothing set in stone but I would like to go to Europe in the fall. We shall see. This reminds me that I need to get the ball moving on a new passport, so I should get my picture taken this weekend, too.
Having a lovely chill out time when you are experincing anxiety is a good way to relax. I hope you have some great DVD’s to watch or books to read.
Haha, when makeup withdrawals cause us to buy something totally random!
Haul: Mac eyeshadow single “Ruddy”; Body Shop chamomile eye makeup remover (trying to find the most gentle product that will help me preserve lashes and not irritate lids).
Weekend: Nothing in particular; usual errands, tasks and pilates. It’s hot and humid here now (95 deg, humid) so hard to get motivated to do much outdoors.
Vacation: I may be in Europe on business in October, am thinking I will add a week to go somewhere, like maybe Norway or The Netherlands. We’ll see.
Nope with 95% humidity I would be totally unmotivated to go outdoors AB – just hate that kind of weather.
Haul: nothing this week. I was going to go to Shoppers to get some stuff that I really don’t need so decided to be sensible and forego it.
Weekend plans: It’s CANADA DAY up Canada way on the first day of July! And to make things even better, our older son, who is in the Canadian Military, is coming home tomorrow for a week so we’re very much looking forward to seeing him and, if the weather cools off, doing some nice stuff out and about.
Vacation plans: We’ve made the decision to spend our travel dollars at home this year for several reasons. And our son will be going to New Brunswick for close to 5 months on training courses so we’ll probably drive to the Maritimes or perhaps fly (we drove a few years ago and really enjoyed it) – we really want to go to Nova Scotia and then we could also visit with son while he’s in Gagetown.
Happy Canada Day Mariella and how wonderful your son will be home to share it with you. I am sure you would love the Maritimes, as they would be quite different culturally to Ontario and the bonus is in seeing your son. It’s much easier to travel within your own country I think.
Happy Canada Day! I’m so glad you’ll get to see your son.
Haul: I picked up Bite’s Cancer lipstick. I was a little peeved that they didn’t do something more original, but they do these types of shades really well. To date, I’ve managed to collect all of them, but this one meant a bit more since my husband is a Cancer.
Weekend plans: I got a last minute work assignment (joys of freelance life), but I’ll also be watching the World Cup.
Upcoming Vacation Plans: I’m hoping to be able to visit my mother later in the summer. As a full-time caregiver, it’s difficult for me to schedule time away, so this will be my first travel in five years.
Haul: I took advantage of the ULTA 20% off coupon, and grabbed the items that have been sitting in my cart: Lime Crime Venus 3, NARS highlighters in Albatross, Capri, and the champagne one, all 4 of the “new” MUR highlighter shades, as well as the matte one, and a backup of the concealer. I’m hoping MELT does the official launch of the Twenty Seven palette this weekend, to which I’ll add Baby Girl & Radioactive stacks to my order.
While not exactly makeup, I picked up tickets to “80’s Weekend #6”, which is a concert of 80s bands. This year it’s Adam Ant, Blondie, Marc Almond (the main reason I’m going!), Berlin, and Thomas Dolby. I’m taking my brother, so I had to get actual seats, or I’d be down in the pit…
Plans: Nothing particularly exciting, but I’m taking my daughter to Build-a-Bear Workshop for a belated graduation gift.
Vacation: We just did our annual Disneyland trip in May. We go for “Bat’s Day”, which is when thousands of Goths get together, and basically take over the park. I’m in SoCal, so it’s not really that much of a “vacation”, but we do make a full weekend of it, and stay a couple of nights in a hotel.
The 80s concert sounds like so much fun! Are you going to do an 80s-inspired makeup look for it?
I’m so excited! I’m definitely doing big, crimped hair, but I’m not sure about the makeup. To be completely honest, my makeup style (as far as placement) isn’t really too far off from what I actually did in the 80s. I do have some eyeshadows that share the names of songs/bands that are playing (NARS Demon Lover-Marc Almond, Blondie, Heart of Glass-Blondie; Urban Decay Libertine, Black Dog-Adam Ant), so I may take some inspiration from those, or something else may hit me, likeca quad/shade that reminds me of something I actually wore back then. I’vevactually kept several sentimental pieces. I will do a heavy contour, though, and glossy lips!
Haul: I have been failing in my no-buy since I jumped off the wagon last week at the new Sephora. I really need to try and get back on but that didn’t happen this week. I had been on the “notification” list for restock of Sonia G Worker One brush so I picked up 2 of those along with a Pencil Two. I was worried if I waited I would be too late to get them. I purchased on-line and they haven’t arrived yet. I also went online and picked up a couple of products from CYO. I have heard Taylor (Thataylaa on YT) talking about the brand for so long and she did a sponsored video this week and after watching and realizing how inexpensive the brand is I thought I would give it a try. Their CYO Lifeproof Foundation is suppose to be really amazing especially for dry skin as it leaves a “dewy” finish. It also comes in a very pale shade which is what I need. The shade 101 has been sold out for awhile and Walgreen’s (the only US carrier apparently) doesn’t carry shade 102 which is suppose to be pretty neutral. So, I was trying to decide whether to wait until it comes back in stock but found one bottle of the 102 shade on Ebay and picked that up although I will probably have to add a white mixer to it. I also got a couple of matte shadows and a couple of lippies, one of which is orange!! I shocked myself so we will have to see if I actually wear it.
Weekend plans: I have to make a trip to Couer D’Alane , Idaho to pick up a piece of art that I purchased for my craft room/den/spare bedroom. I didn’t have room in the car the day I purchased it as my cat was with me and between my bags, my grand-fur-baby and her food, water and liter I couldn’t fit it in. The shop is closing its doors so don’t want that to happen before I am able to get it.
Vacation plans: Well, now that you mention it I do have a plan, LOL!! I am headed to Europe for the first time the end of August and will be there for roughly a month and a couple of days. The planning was a lot harder than I thought as every time I looked to visit a particular area I would see blogs, videos , etc regarding a place close by and I would want to add that location to my plans. I finally realized I would have to just go to the places that I would be disappointed if I didn’t see them. So, planning is done and I am trying to arrange things on this end, cat care, yard care, someone to watch the house and so forth. Final trip is 3 days in Iceland, 5 days in London, 2 days in Brighton Beach, 2 days in Derbyshire, 3 days in Edinburgh, 7 days in Paris, 2 days in Loire Valley, 5 days in Rome, 3 days in Florence, 3 days in Venice,
3 days in Athens, 3 days on Santorini and 2 days in Istanbul.
My family thinks I am crazy to be spending so much money on a trip like this but after nursing for 45 years, ministering to everyone else’s needs, I am going to do the one thing that I have always wanted to do. When the “great recession” that is coming hits I will try not to feel like I made a terrible mistake and I will sit and look at my beautiful pictures while eating beans on toast!!! I am so excited to go.
Go. Period. Just go and lap up every delicious minute of that trip. I have never, ever regretted any of my vacation travels. They have shaped and reshaped me in ways I couldn’t even predict. My soul is so grateful. Travel is a gift. That trip is amazing.
Thank your for the support, Linda. I am closing my ears to the naysayers in my family and just going. Neither of my siblings worked in the traditional sense of leaving home to go to a job. They both raised children and I am not denigrating that but I was able to work and had a lucrative profession (for a woman, sad to have to add that!) but sometimes I think they are a little jealous of my ability to afford to do things that I want to but it is all about balance. Anyway, thank you so much. I know it sounds crazy since I don’t know you but your comment helped me and I feel better about going!!
Enjoy your trip. I would love to go to Santorini.
You deserve that trip to Europe! I can’t imagine you’d ever regret something like that.
Thank you for the link to the poem you left me last week. It was very sweet.
Your welcome. I read it at my Dad’s funeral. I had searched long and hard for something to read and had never read or heard that particular verse. I used it in a life story album that I made for all my siblings and my half -sister who is my Dad’s daughter from a previous marriage. I know that she missed a lot as we lived in California and she remained in Washington with her mother. Of course, my father’s parents and most of his siblings had passed before him. It felt right to refer to his leaving our side to go to their side and I knew they would all be glad to see him arriving. Corny I know but it was what I settled on reading.
Haul:
Nars Orgasm Illuminating Loose Powder. When Nars gets a sheen right, you can’t beat it. I’m not an Orgasm blush fan, but this is different enough in shade. It’s a lovely blush topper and just what I was looking for in a more coral/bronze color. I am obsessed with the Nars Erdem Love Me Not Blush. I use that layered with so many different options because of that sheen. So pretty. I think I’ll like this new powder as much. Just came yesterday.
That’s it on the haul radar.
Weekend:
Hot! That means outdoor swimming! Hope to go Sat and Sun. Other than that, groceries, packing for another biz trip. Reading Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng. So good! Hope to make a dent this weekend.
Vacation:
Paris x 5. We know it’s a big world, but the pull of that city just won’t quit for us. The ONLY thing on our bucket list is to live there for at least a year. We will stay again for ~2 weeks this trip. Go deep into the city like we like to do. We are planning a couple of days in the Loire Valley, since it’s an area we have not been to.
Haul: Nothing this week!
Weekend plans: Nothing – my husband as come down with a cold so I’m trying to find that happy medium between cosseting him and trying not to murder him in his sleep.
Upcoming vacation plans: Vague discussions of going to the family beach house in a few weeks and going to Europe in 12 months or so but nothing set in concrete yet.
Haul: ColourPop Pressed Shadows in BPM and Heavy Glam, NYX Pot Concealer in Beige, and last week I bought NYX Faux Black Eyeliners in Blackberry and Black Olive
Weekend plans: staying inside!
Do you have any upcoming vacation plans?: Nope, no vacation for me this year.
Haul: Urban Decay Born to Run. Love it. The colors are beautiful. Swatches great. Haven’t been able to use it yet.
Weekend: My wonderful, sweet mom has advanced dementia, so she is coming to live with me and my husband this weekend. Fortunately, there isn’t a huge rush to clean out her home. My nephew wants it but is tied into a lease for a few more months. I just get to pack up what she’ll truly miss tomorrow.
Vacation: Nothing planned. I just went to New Orleans last month for work and took a couple extra days to sightsee. I guess that will have to suffice for my vacation, lol.
How gorgeous is Mellon! He has so many expressions on his beautiful face.
Haul: Nothing this week.
Weekend Plans: It’s our youngest son’s 31st birthday today (father of Olivia and Lachlan), and he has been really busy at work – end of the financial year here in Aus and as he is an accountant, it has been hectic for him. So on Sunday we are having a big family dinner to celebrate his birthday.
On Saturday, I will just be getting the feast prepared and the usual housework chores. It is currently very cold and rainy here.
Vacation plans: No. we don’t have any upcoming plans at the moment for holidays.
Haul: Jeffree Star’s Thirsty Palette. I’ve been watching tutorials to try to learn how to do some looks with it. I really like it so far!! Weekend plans: Bunco tomorrow night with my sister, and possibly visiting my son on Sunday. I might see a movie too- I want to see Hereditary, but nobody will go with me! I’ll just go by myself! Vacation plans: no vacation this year. Starting a new job this week! (Internal transfer to another hospital).
*Haul
– Morphe highlighter in Boom,
– Nars lip pencil in Famous Red,
– Becca shimmer pressed highlighter in Rose Quartz,
– Molecule 01 fragrance.
Haul: Just a packet of fragrance-free Neutrogena makeup remover wipes.
Weekend plans: Today I worked all day and did the grocery shopping. Over tomorrow and Sunday I plan to run into Walmart for a bit more shopping-supplies for chip dip to take to my uncle’s 4th of July cookout and a cool t-shirt (a Jurassic Park shirt, only the background is a distressed, almost stonewash pattern in red and burgundy rather than black-I can’t find it on the website, but I’ve seen it in store)-and watch Game Night before it has to go back to the library. Also, Sunday is laundry day.
Do you have any upcoming vacation plans?: No.
Haul: Smith Cosmetics brushes 253 and 220. Chanel Eyes Collection 2018 – Nude Eclat and Bleu Nuit Stylos Ombre et Contour, single shadow in High Profile, and new eyeshadow primer.
Weekend Plans: Celebrating Canada Day with family and friends. Staying cool in excessive heat, hoping the humidity breaks.
Vacation Plans: Visiting family.
