  • Haul: Nabla Eyeshadows, marc Jacobs Enamored Gloss Sticks (x4)
  • Weekend plans: Blog-o-rama! We need to do some grocery shopping, but I think I’ll try to get it done this morning or go on Monday to avoid the crowds!
  • What are the top three places you’d love to travel to?: I’d like to go back to Seattle (in Washington) as an adult (I’ve been a few times on family vacations, though only once I think for an extended eriod of time). I’ve never been bit by the travel bug, so the question is hard for me – I want to say Italy and France but mostly for food-related reasons… I feel like travel = eating in new places (for me), haha.

Haul: Jeffree Star mini Rainbow liquid lipstick set.

Also getting fabric and dyes for a mascot costume I want to do for FanExpo. Bendy and the Ink Machine.

LED Lighting options on the cheap to experiment with.

Weekend plans: Fathers day and going to the Ontario Science Centre for a convention on Sunday.

What are the top three places you’d love to travel to?: The Mediterranean tour (Greece/Italy)…. India, and Japan.

Haul: I actually got something this week! I have been on a very serious low buy for about a year and a half now, but this isn’t technically a purchase anyway – I did Back 2 MAC and picked up Party Line.

Weekend plans: I HAVE to do some work in my garden this weekend. Other than that, no real plans other than typical errands/housework.

What are the top three places you’d love to travel to?: Traveling is basically my Big Hobby that I save for throughout the year (I’ve been to 23 countries) and am always coming up with new plans and places I want to go to. All it takes is someone telling me they went somewhere cool and then a google search to see what it looks like and I have a new fantasy destination on my list. So this list is highly subject to change.

1. Tanzania. I would love to go on a safari and to Zanzibar. Safaris can be VERY pricey, though, so this is a bit of a pipe dream. The Zanzibar part is a lot more attainable, but I’d be super sad to travel all that way and not be able to see a lot of animals.
2. Budapest. This is definitely attainable since I have connections to Eastern Europe and working in a trip to Hungary is completely feasible.
3. Malaysia. It seems super fascinating and beautiful!

Haul : Urban Decay Born to Run palette, Huda Obsessions Electric Palette, ABH Dream Glow Kit.
Weekend plans : Low key probably spend a lot of time at the pool. Sunday see my dad for Father’s day.
Travel : Paris, I would love to see the fashion and just the general beauty. Norway, people will probably think I’m crazy for this one but a good friend lives there and another moved to the states from there 10 years ago. I would love to see this beautiful country. Hawaii, the water is so blue and beautiful.

Tammy Avatar

I love everything about your haul! If I were in the a makeup buying mood, these three items would at least make the under-serious-consideration list. Have you gotten a chance to play with the highlighters yet? I love all five of my ABH highlighter kits!

I would love to visit Norway. My husband’s family has Norwegian roots: lots of platinum blondes, redheads, and sky blue eyes.

Emily Avatar

That’s really cool. I love learning about different countries.

Yes, some. Mine came with sunshine busted. Sephora replaced without question, new one actually comes today. Since it was busted I went right in and swatched and played with them all. Lots of glitter but I like glitter :). I wore sunshine as my highlight Friday. I was able to get it to wear with minimal glitter fallout.I really like how this shade looks with me having some tan now. I’m usually fair-light but I”m heading to medium now. I think i’ll enjoy all of these. Definitely not as much glitter and fallout as KVD Gold Skool and I really enjoy that highlighter too.

He really does have a puppy-like joyfulness in his eyes!

Haul: More like a reverse haul? I returned both the Fenty Profilt’r Foundation and the Laura Mercier powder. Bought Lancome Teint Idole Foundation N360 and Hourglass Dim Light powder in their place. Much better!

Weekend plans: My 3 day Regional Convention in Tucson! I got up today at 3:50 a.m.!

Top three places you’d love to travel to? The Pacific Islands, New Zealand and Alaska! But, I’d also love to visit Ireland and Italy, too!

Deborah S. Avatar

I talked my daughter into picking up the Teint Idole Foundation after reading your loves over the years and she is really loving it so far. She still can’t find a perfect match but this is the closest she has gotten to her skin tone. She has super oily skin so we will see how it holds up through the summer. Have fun at your convention, Nancy.

Alice Avatar

Haul: Nothing actually! I’m still waiting on a few orders to come in, and I have a deal with myself that if I have a certain amount of open orders I can’t buy anything else until they all arrive. Also there just wasn’t anything I wanted 🙂 🙂

Weekend Plans: Last night we went to Rifftrax Live and it was fun! Today is a food truck festival at a local lake so we’re going to go out on the boat for the afternoon and then go to the festival. Sat-Sun we’re under a heat advisory so we’ll probably just hide out in the a/c and play video games.

Top 3 places to travel: That’s a tough one bc I want to go everywhere! Maybe…Germany, Japan, Morocco.

Mags Avatar

Haul: Lunatick Cosmetics Vampira Eyeshadow Palette. Sooo pretty and it makes my inner goth heart sing!

Weekend plans: Take it easy, run errands, go see Oceans 8 with a friend.

What are the top three places you’d love to travel to?: I’m dying to go to New Orleans, as I’ve never been! I’d also like to take a road trip cross country, my recent travels to the mountains makes me realize how much of our country I haven’t seen in it’s natural beauty, and lastly Iceland. It looks so beautiful there and I’d love to take advantage of one of those affordable flights WOW Air is offering right now.

kjh Avatar

People I know who visited Iceland said it was an awesome trip. You know what they joke about Greenland and Iceland, that they were named in reverse on purpose. Greenland is icy, and Iceland is quite green!

ShariP Avatar

Just got back from New Orleans. It was my second time there. I love that city. Both times I’ve been there for a conference and stayed in the French Quarter. Food is awesome. People are genuinely friendly and nice. Its pretty easy to get around using the streetcars…cheap too. You have to have beignets at Cafe du Monde…the best. Street muscians in Jackson Square are great. Skip the riverboat “tour”….though there are other great tours of plantations and the typical places you would want to see and they are worth the price. Some are walking, some by bus, something for everyone. There is so much history in that one city. Its amazing. Only downside is the heat. You’ll want to research the weather to choose your time. It was high 90s F 3rd week of May with 100% humidity. Not sure if it’s allowed to give out a hotel recommendation or not, but ours was great. Very clean, staff was friendly, and there was a nice restaurant that had awesome food and was cheap. Maybe Christine can let me know if it’s ok to post the name.

Mellan looks ready to have fun!

MAC Haul/Anti-Haul: I bought two lipsticks that—to my surprise—I don’t have dupes for: Modesty (my most perfect MLBB shade yet) and Verve (beautiful plummy brown). I was inches away from buying Relentlessly Red, a gorgeous shade that I absolutely adore, but I hate MAC’s Retro Matte finish, so I decided against it. (I wish MAC would release Satin versions of their Retro Matte shades.)

Weekend Plans: Relaxing, mostly.

Top places I’d like to travel to: I’ve world-traveled a lot in my younger days, so I’m kind of over it at this point and I’m a bit of a homebody. What I’d really like to do is spend some time in a cabin in the mountains in cool spring weather. Something rustic, yet a little luxurious, with a quaint town nearby that has an ice cream parlor, antique and craft shops, boutiques, a grocery store, and a couple of good restaurants. One of the Carolinas would be nice. Or maybe a cottage in a small village in the English countryside.

AB Avatar

Haul: (since I’ve been on a low-buy over last weeks, it’s been awhile since I had anything to contribute here…) this week: MUFE Artist Color Pencils in Wherever Walnut and Completely Sepia. Thanks to kjh for the head’s up on these.

Weekend: no special plans so the usual errands, pilates, etc.

Travel: Scotland is on my bucket list, especially northern islands; Phoenix/Scottsdale area is one of my favorite vacation destinations; Quebec City because I hear it’s like many small French cities so it’d be like visiting France without the jet lag

Kjh Avatar

It’s so funny in northern Scotland in early summer. Got as far north as John O’ Groats and it never got dark. I mean, you could read outside and the sky was rather navy blue. The Hebrides are fun, too.

AB Avatar

That’s amazing. Yes, I was in Edinburgh once in early July and it was light until early 11:00am. I am absolutely set on returning next chance I can and going further north from there.

Katherine T. Avatar

Awww, love doggy smiles!

Haul: Nothing. I actually need to make a few returns.

Weekend Plans: I’m actually off this weekend. I’ll definitely be hitting different aerial gyms this weekend, and babysitting my nephew on Saturday, and spending Father’s Day with the family on Sunday.

What are the top three places you’d love to travel to?: Morocco, Egypt, & Kyoto.

Michele @Binxcat4ever Avatar

Count me in for the foodie travel trip!

Haul:
ASOS: ASOS x Crayola – Crayola Color Crayon Trio (Mermaid), Crayola Face Crayon (Desert Sand, Gray). The first batch I bought was so good, I went back and bought more. I’m testing Desert Sand as a waterline shade tomorrow. If it’s as good on the waterline as silver and lilac were, I’m stocking up.

bareMinerals (20% off): Invisible Light Translucent Powder Duo (on sale), Crystalline Glow Highlighter Stick (Prismatic Pearl), Gen Nude Patent Lip Lacquer (Cant Even). Arrives tomorrow. The duo is my HG matte and under eye.

Birchbox (25% off): Winky Lux Glazed Lips Donut Lip Gloss Trio, Laqa & Co Cloud Lips and B’Lighter Set. Arrives by Monday.

Darling Girl 15% off with BINX15): Pressed Eye Shadow (Bon Bon, Duckie, Ennui, Silver Bullet, Stormy). Bought all the new releases bc the first batch was really good.

DedCool (15% off): Velvet (Monroe) – pre-sale. Had the chance to try this (review is up) as a sample from the brand. Fell in love.

Eddie Funkhouser (30% off): Hyperreal® Eye Color Palette (Bedroom Eyes), Hyperreal® Pure Pigment (Dollicious, Spellbound), Hyperreal® Eye Color (U NV Me, Limelight, Lavender Sky). The first order I placed I was happy with so thought I explore the brand a bit more. Arrives by Monday or Tuesday.

House of Matriarch (Free – special offer for group): Sample of Woo. Wanted to try this frag. Just had to pay shipping so I couldn’t resist.

RealHer (15% off – BINX15): Matte Long-Wear Liquid Lipstick (I Decide My Destiny), Moisturizing Lipstick (I Define Beauty Myself, Sorry Not Sorry). Love their lippies. I was shocked when I first tried the matte. I didn’t expect it to be really good. Mattes and I aren’t usually friends.

Sephora (50% off): Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss (Orchid). Pretty shade + great deal.

UD: Born to Run Eyeshadow Palette. I swore I wasn’t going to buy this palette. It was one of those spur of the moment buys. Anyway, it arrives today.

Weekend plans: Took Monday off – yay! I have to go to the post office in the morning to mail some makeup I sold. (I do that pretty often since I really don’t wear makeup except on weekends and I can’t store as much as I buy.) Otherwise, only set plan is my pedi on Monday. And always the mani and blogs.

What are the top three places you’d love to travel to?: I can’t decide. There are too many. I love seeing new things and having new experiences so the entire globe is game! Short term, I want to get back to Maine and take the CAT to Nova Scotia. I want to go back to New Orleans (went as a child). Then I’d like to go to Alaska, Italy, England, China, Austria, Peru…..

kjh Avatar

Nothing but the Chloe M haul 2 on extra sale; so far good enough for the price. Some of the shades that sucked here are fairly good in mine. My new glasses came, and they’re a tad small, so, wtf, ordered others. Red and dark gray. EZ contacts has prices that are far better than LensCrafters 50% off lenses. Though the discount wasn’t quite as hefty on these. It is unbearably wonderful not to have to take them off to see in the 5’ range. I had to take off those distance glasses every 10 secs or leave them off entirely. That should have, but didn’t really, up my concealer game! Now, I can have w.e. plans to engage in my big risk taking sport…birdwatching from the car! And I can read this iPad with glasses on. Etc. Plans are SSDW, and Patti has gone without the carriage for 8 consecutive days. Good lil ole gal. Travel: well, first, Madagascar, before all the microclimates are totally trashed…lemur watching, etc. The rest is PNW, Canadian Rockies(have been to Waterton/Glacier, but not Banff/Lake Louise, and British Columbia. That is if our neighbors to the north still let any US folks in, after our fearless leader insulting them so and being economically punitive.

Deborah S. Avatar

kjh, I have to say that travelling to Europe in the fall after our “fearless leader” as you call him, has insulted half the globe makes me not want to tell anyone that I am from the U.S. I go to Canada quite frequently and my daughter and I keep joking that we are going to defect if the current situation continues.

DVa Avatar

We could create a new country called PacNor (Pacific Northwest). 😉
It would include WA, ORE and British Columbia!
If not, we’d welcome you if you do decide to defect 🙂

Blue Avatar

It’s nice to see BC on somebody’s list! I totally overlooked it because as a Seattleite Vancouver and Portland are common weekend trips. But Vancouver is the best city in the PNW in my opinion and the food scene and shopping are fantastic. And obviously there’s the amazing nature too. 🙂

Haul: A new tube of La Roche Posay sunscreen (not the really light fluid one and not the heaviest cream one but the “in between”) – this is one of hubby’s Fathers’ Day presents, also a tube of L’Oreal Lumi Glowtion (or whatever it’s called) – it was only AFTER I’d opened it that I saw it was made in the US (I’m endeavoring to buy things made only in Canada or other countries, so Chanel, Clarins and Dior “will buy” lines). I’d like to take it back but given that it was my own mistake, I don’t feel it’s really right to do this.

Weekend plans: gym and hair cut tomorrow; younger son and my daughter and son in law will all be here Sunday for a Fathers Day brunch I’m preparing.

Top 3 places – easy – Sardinia (was there 3 years back and loved it), Barcelona (but only after I learn some Spanish) and either Edinburgh, Norway, Denmark or almost anywhere in France.

kjh Avatar

Ooh, Barcelona. Gaudi alone makes it worthwhile. Buy Canadian. Agree with that. The US is so mad and negative these days. Offending Canada (and virtually every other ally) and saying Russia should be in the G group. Did that megalomaniac ever hear about cooperation?

Mariella Avatar

We loved Barcelona when we were there but didn’t have nearly enough time to see much at all. I’d like to return and get an air bnb and stay for 2 weeks, go to the markets, have enough Spanish to ask “What is this? How do you cook it?” and generally engage in a basic, limping conversation. As for President Trump, my joking theory is that he wants to cozy up to Kim Jong-un because he wants to sit down beside a world leader with a WORSE haircut than Trump has. I’ve actually said all along that I believe he envies the N. Korean leader since he’s not bound by anything as troublesome as a Constitution, a judicial system or annoying things like human rights issues. And today, Trump himself seems to have confirmed this (although later on, he said it was a joke and can’t people understand sarcasm). As my old ma’ used to say (or maybe quote), “Many a true word is spoken in jest”.

ShariP Avatar

There are some of us in this country that agree with President Trump and what he is doing. If he can get a leader as ruthless as Kim Jung Un to end his war with his neighbors and denuclearize without us sending our sons and daughters to die, without a shot being fired…Well, then I’m all for it. We have to hope he succeeds. It could make this world a better place. President Trump may not be polished. He may say outlandish things or do things that make some of us cringe at times, but our citizens are better off now than we were after 4 years of Obama. And our businesses deserve the same chances to export goods as other countries have. I also believe that everyone who commits a crime here should pay for it. No one should be exempt regardless if your name is Clinton, Bush, or Obama. Break the law, pay the price. Its high time we get back to living by our Constitution.

Curly hair product haul: Deva Curl Decadence Conditioner, original Supercream, and B’ Leave In Miracle Curl Plumper. Ouidad Curl Quencher Moisturizing Conditioner, Curl Quencher Hrdrafusion Intense Curl Cream, Vitacurl Tress Effects Styling Gel, and Botanical Boost Curl Spray. I’ve been alternating Ouidad and Deva Curl for a couple years now. I wash my hair once every four days and mix and match my products. On Deva Curl day it’s No Poo shampoo, Decadence Conditioner, and B’ Leave in mixed with Archangel gel for styling. On Ouidad day it’s a tea tree oil shampoo, Curl Quencher conditioner, Moisture Lock Leave-in conditioner, and a mix of Climate Control Heat and Humidity Gel and Vitacurl Gel. I always air dry my curls. On days between washes I freshen my curls with Botanical Boost Spray and Hydrafushion Curl Cream.

Weekend: Having all the kids and grandchildren over tomorrow for Father’s Day! We will have a cookout.

Three places: Greece, Italy, and South America.

Deborah S. Avatar

Haul: Nothing this week.

Weekend: Continuing to make plans for Europe, where to go exactly, day trips, where to stay at each location. Also the usual Friday night dinner with family which should be interesting this week as my sister got involved in a conversation between me and my brother and then told my Mom so my Mom is angry at me. The kicker is my sister lives down in Idaho and really doesn’t have any impact on the situation we were discussing. Family dynamics can be stressful!!

Top 3 places to travel to: I am going to go with the idea that since my Europe trip is happening I will discount those places. I would love to go to Mackinac Island someday. It is a place I have wanted to visit for some time and have just never taken the time to go. There are actually several places in the United States that I have never travelled to that would be nice to visit. Like many, I usually end up going to the same places because of family or friends I want to visit.
I am also interested in visiting Japan and South Korea, especially for the makeup shopping but also just to see the beautiful cities and landscape. Lastly, I would love to visit New Zealand and Australia. I kind of lump them together because I suspect that I would see both if I were going since the trip to either place would be a 20 hour flight.

Blue Avatar

Haul: I told myself I would buy Armani Fluid Sheer in 11 if I got a 4.0 in my statistics class and I did. 😀 I also need to repurchase The Ordinary retinoid and Holy Snails Snowbang.

Weekend plans: Work and do the cooking and cleaning I’ve been putting off. I’m excited to make money and not having my final hovering over me though!

What are the top three places you’d love to travel to?: New destinations: Morocco, Cuba, South Korea. Places I’d like to go again: Turkey, Vietnam, Taiwan. Within the US, I would really like to see Texas and the main cities in the Midwest. Also, I appreciate the timeliness of this question. As a restaurant worker, food hobbyist, and avid traveler, I’ve felt the loss of Anthony Bourdain deeply and personally. He touched a lot of lives and I miss him.

Sidenote: I am from Seattle and work in the Pike Place Market. Christine, if you come to Seattle I hope to run into you! Also, it’s good traveling for you is mostly about food (Same here, I just act like I’m having a lazy weekend except I aggressively overeat haha.) because Seattle does have a pretty good food and bar scene, but not much in terms of actual activities for visitors. lol

Blue Avatar

Thank you, Tammy!

I got a sample of the Fluid Sheer from Sephora a couple weeks ago to see if I would actually reach for it, and I love it. I’ve been using it pretty generously on my cheeks, then blended lightly into my temples and eyelids, then across the bridge of my nose and just a hint on my chin as a slightly tanned/barely burnt look. I’m consistent about sunscreen, so it’s my way of faking a summer glow. It looks incredibly natural, and sits well under other products like blushes or additional highlighters too.

MacKenzie G. Avatar

Haul: nothing this week.

Weekend plans: nada. Hopefully will go to the gym.

Top 3 travel destinations: only 3??
U.S.: desert exploring in the West/South-West U.S. (obsessed with deserts), Portland, OR, (super quirky place), and New Orleans, LA. (love the food and want to explore the swamps).
Outside of U.S. (all Spanish-speaking, surprise surprise): Puerto Rico (boyfriend’s birthplace), Barcelona, Spain (future grad school city), and Patagonia, Argentina (I took a class on Francisco Coloane last semester and I NEED to see the place that inspired him).

Lesley Avatar

Haul: A few pedicure tools.

Weekend plans: I am going to try to get my husband to a movie.

Three places I want to travel to: I have been really fortunate in the amount of travelling I have been able to do. High on my current list are Tokyo, Colombia, and the Grand Canyon.

Genevieve Avatar

What a beautiful, heart warming photo of Mellon – such a happy boy.

Haul – nothing except some new winter ankle boots (I have worn them every single day since purchase)
And a new car! – a Honda Jazz in a beautiful bright blue. My old car was too large and was needing new tyres etc, so my son and husband, who are both into cars, did a lot of research and came up with a few models. I tried them all, but liked this one the best. Now I just have to figure out all the buttons and features – it’s like being in a cockpit.

Weekend plans: Mothing significant at the moment – Hairdresser on Saturday, mostly likely the family over for dinner on Sunday.

Three Place to Travel to: Within Australia, I would like to go back to Tasmania, up to Cairns and the Daintree Forest and up through central NSW to Armidale.
Internationally, I would like to go to Italy, France and Scotland – especially the Shetland Islands.

Emily Avatar

Congrats on your new car. Enjoy :).
I googled Honda Jazz because I was curious. Cute car, looks just right for what you described needing. I love blue :)).

Sarah Avatar

Haul: First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream (travel size) – I’m enjoying this so far. I like that it has no fragrance and doesn’t feel too heavy/sticky on my skin (despite being a really thick cream)

Weekend plans: Cleaning up my place tomorrow and celebrating Father’s Day on Sunday

What are the top three places you’d love to travel to?: Oh this is a good question! I’d go with Los Angeles, Japan (specifically Tokyo, but I’d like to see a lot of the rest of the country if feasible), and Toronto. I’ve actually been to LA a ton and live pretty close by, but I’d like a big trip where I can save up some money and go to all my favorites attractions there.

Also, I guess I have a thing for huge urban areas.

CeeBee Avatar

Haul: Nabla Soul Blooming palette, Morphe Boom highlighter, Zoeva Glance eyeliner (to replace the one I wore down to a stub), some Nivea Lip Shine fruit balms and Too Faced Natural Face palette which is super cute,, but my goodness does it STINK. I cringe every time I use it 🙁

Weekend plans: Check out a French deli near our house, visit my mum, clean the shower and eat all the leftovers in our fridge.

Top 3 places to travel to: San Sebastian in Spain, Okinawa (I want to go to the aquarium there) and Riga in Latvia.

Dawn Avatar

Haul: RMS Living Luminizer and Lip Shine in Enchanted (I feel, a dupe for Orgasm.) Carrying on with my RMS kick.

Weekend plans: It’s my birthday on Father’s Day, so hopefully have a relaxing and peaceful weekend, which can be difficult as a single parent. As a gift to myself I will pick up a couple of extra makeup treats.

Top three places to travel: I haven’t been able to travel for some years now, but first I’d like to head to Northern England to visit with relatives, and pop over to Scotland again (a place I just love.) Second, I’d like to go to Harlem for it’s history and present vibe. Thirdly I would love to see Russia and Siberia in the summertime. That one is duanting for me due to not knowing the language, but I have always wanted to see it all.

DVa Avatar

Haul: trust & fairy dust the new TARTE palette. At least it should be there when I arrive. I’m currently on the TGV into Paris after another work trip in France. I think I ordered some other stuff but I can’t remember LOL.

Weekend: get home! I still have about 15 hours of travel. Can’t wait to see my pets, babies and my hubby of course!

Travel: hmmm… a good one. I’ve been fortunate enough to see the world (I’ve been on every continent except the antarctic) but there are places I’d love to return to and places I’d like to bring my hubby to, places I used to travel to but he never has.
Off the top of my head
1. Costa Rica (return)
2. Amalfi Coast, Italy (never been)
3.. Bora Bora (stay in an overwater bungalow on stilts the pristine blue Pacific)

Rachel R. Avatar

Haul:
*ABH Dream Glow Kit. It arrived with one of the shades completely smashed, so I’m going to exchange it in person at my local Macy’s so that I can hand-carry it home.

*BH Cosmetics Aurora Lights Palette. It’s so freaking pretty.

*Urban Decay Beached Eyeshadow Palette. I have a weakness for neutral palettes with pops of blue. Usually I resist, but this one was so pretty in person that I caved.

Weekend plans: My mom passed away peacefully in her sleep early Wednesday morning. I was with her. We’re working on helping my brother sort through and pack up her house. Tomorrow, my sons and I will take my husband out to dinner for Father’s Day.

What are the top three places you’d love to travel to?: Australia, England, and Japan.

Genevieve Avatar

So sorry to read about your mum Rachel. I know she was very ill, but it still is such a sad moment as you seemed to have had a really good relationship with her. At least she passed away pain free and in peace, which is a blessing.
Sorting through and packing up your mum’s home will be hard – it’s not an easy thing to do.
Sending you my love and prayers to all your family.

Nikki Avatar

Haul: All Urban Decay-Born to Run palette, Lucky 24/7 eyeliner, Deep End Double Team mascara, 100 Degrees Beached Vice lipstick, Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion, and a travel-size Optical Illusion face primer.
Weekend plans: I worked all day yesterday. Tonight my parents and I met up with my mom’s entire side of the family at an Italian restaurant a few towns over to celebrate her birthday (which was actually earlier in the week) and then my parents and I looked around Barnes & Noble for a few minutes. Tomorrow is laundry and probably a trip to a sandwich place my dad really likes (I’m not crazy about the place, but it is Father’s Day).
What are the top three places you’d love to travel to?: New York has called to me for years. I’d love to go to LA, but not necessarily the cliche tourist traps-I’d rather visit some places I’ve seen on TV and maybe take in a show at the Rockwell. London and Paris are fiercely battling it out for the third spot, with no winner in sight-I guess I could combine them into one trip, since they’re connected by the Chunnel?
