Last TV show you binge-watched: I like foreign series and I’m a total Scandinavian noir junkie. I recently binge watched the second season of The Bridge and caught the French series Witnesses. TV is for late night only so I usually can make it through 2 episodes before crash and burn.

I’ve had a long long day and certainly do not feel or look any part of glamorous this evening, (I’m lying on my infrared heating pad in my jammies after duking it out all day with farm machinery… long tedious story) and this made me belly laugh. I’m the antithesis of everything Tom Ford, but he sure makes amazing makeup products.
I always wonder what he would say hearing that story, you know? I can’t decide how he would react, LOL.

May be ordered a few more items from Neiman Marcus over the weekend if I like the free tote. I got the tote in grey (I have a ton of black totes) and may want it in wine.
Weekend plans: Weekly mani/pedi. I think I need to pick Fall shades to use this time and maybe the weather will finally cool off! Thinking about picking up some Fall decor at the farm market.
Last TV show you binge-watched: Usually don’t binge watch anything. I work from home and dvr things that either conflict with a program I want to watch or ones that come on after I am in bed. I use my lunchtime to watch what I have recorded.

I saw them featured on Gizmodo in February — it took 7 months but imagine they were slammed with orders after such a big feature (I think their turnaround time is closer to 3 months). It’s really, really good – there are so many details, and the whole “coat” is shaded.
Great haul! Thunderstruck is SUCH a cool shade. It has way more dimension than you’d think!
Yes, it looks soo plain online but I’m going to use it all over my face as well. The shadow over all are great but I’m going to wait still the Mi Vida Loca remix eyeshadow palette some out to see if I need more of the singles shade wise. (But they are goodly formulated like Makeup geek foiled eyeshadow for pigmentation *_* )
The at Von D holiday 2015: Studded Obsession Studded Kiss Lipstick set of 20 full-sized shades set look amasing but probably in $400 range. lol
But if the new minis are the reformulated lipstick formula the Kat Von D Mi Vida Loca Remix Studded Kiss Lipstick kit is calling me even if I have Nobel. lol
I swatched it over the weekend, and I think I really need to buy it! Not only is it absolutely gorgeous, the wear-time is likely to be incredibly long. I only swatched it on my hand, but it lasted for hours, with full intensity.
The Sephora Cream Stains are great! Watermelon Slice is my fave! And Penny Dreadful is an awesome show!

Haul: Since I’ve been on a no-buy for a few weeks (and will be for a few more), I’ve been “shopping” my stash and forcing myself to use things I’ve been neglecting. So, I’ve been loving the Naked 1 and 3 palettes this week! I don’t know why I never used them a whole lot (I only used Naked 1 a few times, and I used to love Naked 3 but stopped using it), the quality of the shadows is just tops!
Weekend plans: Some friends of mine who live far away (Memphis and Toronto!) and I have made a standing Saturday night date to watch TV together on rabb.it. It’s a website where one person pulls up Netflix or Youtube, and you can all see it on your screen, while having little videochat boxes along the bottom of the screen. It’s like watching TV in your living room all together.
Last TV show I binge-watched: The same friends I mentioned above and I have been binge-watching old seasons of Criminal Minds to prepare for the season premiere on September 30th!

Haul: A ton of MAC shadows that are nearly impossible to find in-store (Deep Damson, Soot, Indian Ink, Ground Brown, Grain, Era) or I seem to forget about (Charcoal Brown, Concrete, Mylar, Print-which are all shades that I always assumed I already bought). I really wanted to grab Vapour & Soba, but I forgot, LOL!
Plans: Hit Walmart & ULTA.

**Haul – Chikuhodo Sakura Brush Set from Beautylish has arrived! They are so beautiful and soft, I don’t even want to use them! They are smaller than I expected, but that’s ok because I have a petite face, so will fit perfectly. Colour Pop Poison lippie and shadows in Plaid, Dare, Deck, Feather, Krinkle. MAC Vamplify gloss in Tuned In. Wet N Wild lippies in Photobomb & Nightcap. Milani LE blushes in Awakening Rose & Blossoming Rose. So many things to play with, and a lot of 1990 browns in this haul. Oh, and after 2 weeks of experimenting, I FINALLY got Tisse Automne to work on my oily lids, using BM 5-in-1 Cream Shadow and Laura Mercier Caviar Stick, so I will keep, just love the gorgeous autumn colors.

Haul: Too Faced Stardust palette which I can’t decide if it’s really a good fit for me or not. It’s really a well-done palette. I’m just not sure if I will get much use out of it. I wish there was a protocol to follow because I am awful at deciding these things and often I will just buy things because it drives me nuts thinking about it! So, if anyone has suggestions, I’m all ears ( or eyes in this case. I returned the Nars mascara (does not layer well at all!) and for $6 more bought Nars Leslie. Loccitane foot cream, Beauty Blender cleanser. My ColourPop throws it back order arrived and I received a mini Bite Mimosa lipstick and gloss in a Sephora order. I love it! I may have to go full size after the Holiday madness on that one. I ordered UD’s Fireball, Mildew, and the Cosmic liner gift from Ulta on Sun. and still waiting for that to arrive. I had to buy some skin care stuff fro both me and my daughter and now that she is starting puberty, I can feel the double blow to my wallet already! lol..just kidding. She’s worth it.
Weekend plans: early soccer games on Sat. ,grocery store, laundry, my house is a mess so I guess I have to clean it! I really want to get to the mall to try the new Mac foundation.
Tv binge watching: I rarely watch tv. I really don’t have time and when it’s on, my daughter has it on Disney or something like that. So, maybe it was a Disney show. But, I don’t even know the names. I’d rather read beauty blogs. 🙂

Christine,thats a good way to look at it and I guess it was stressing me more. I did manage some really pretty Looks. But, I felt like I could do similar with shadows I already owned and with the Holiday whirlwind already, I decided to return it. I feel bad retuning so much. I returned that and the mufe Hd foundation yesterday. But, I figure I’m purchasing way more than I’m damaging out.
The Cuddle Clone is almost as cute as the real thing. Now it just needs a little bow tie.

Last tv show I binge-watched: BORGEN, a Danish political drama series. It is SO good and so chock full of intelligent conversation, scheming, deal making, etc. that now I’m watching it a 2nd time with my husband and still finding all new stuff (reading the subtitles takes a fair bit of energy, because Danish is SUCH an unfamiliar language to me).

Haul: MAC Bamboo, Rule, Red Brick and Deep Damson in one of the Elf empty quads I hauled a ways back. I wore them the way Phyrra had done in her tutorial using the Too Faced Stardust in a smokey grunge look, and it turned out AMAZING!!! Also nabbed a Too Faced La Creme in Pink Chocolate the other day for $11 at Ulta. I love how it looks and feels on my lips! Oh, 3 plaid tops, too, LoL!
Weekend plans: I’m supposed to go visit my son tomorrow, hopefully my sore throat will disappear by tomorrow morning. It feels raw. Doing hair & nail routine today instead.

Last TV show you binge-watched: I haven’t watched television for over two years… so I’m not sure. I’m guessing it was either one of the shows I’d recorded off the Science Channel or one of the cooking shows.
Also, I love that Mellan has a mini-me! That’s so cute! Curious… does he respond differently to it than to his other toys?
He doesn’t! He thought it was him… and was disappointed it was OF him.
How did the driving lessons go? LOL, I remember my first time driving…
Well… his spatial awareness is amazing! He could pull into a parking space (no other cars around!) without a problem. However, his anxiety had him hitting the brake a little hard and he had difficulty making sharp turns at a moderate speed (as expected because he hasn’t gotten the feel for it yet). Once he gets a little more comfortable, I’m sure he’ll be great.
My first few times driving were great. Why? Because my parents didn’t know I had backed the car out of the driveway and driven it up the street and back! LOL However, my first time driving with my father… that’s documentary material! Ha!

I had never, ever driven at all prior to getting my permit, and my first drive was with the instructor, so that was pretty awful, haha. During my driving test, I only got one point off for going too slow (22 in a 25 zone), thankfully!

He actually tried to take a bite out of him as soon as I took him out of the package but has since left him alone after I scolded him, haha.

I got three MAC Vamplify that I ordered last week, How Chic is This, Tease, Don’t Touch and Flash Drive. Also from MAC Viva Glam Miley Cyrus 2 lipgloss, MEn Love Mystery and Mehr lipsticks.
From Georgio Armani, two Eye &Brow Maestro, 03 Acajou and 09 Gold also two eye tints 4 and 15. emerald and blackened purple.
From Chanel Perfection Lumiére Velvet foundation and Jazzy Blue mascara. I also bought sunscreen and a serum.
From Clinique, Beyond Perfection Foundation and concealer.
I also bought Trio Lash from Kiss.
A normal week I don’t buy two foundations to add to the small mountain I have, but I did a really stupid thing, trying to wax some of that fine fur I have just on the edge of my face. Shouldn’t have done that, I got really strange looking stripes on my face, looking like a chemical peel gon really bad, and I got pimples, or pimple looking spots. I felt the need of a very, very full cover foundation. Therefore the Clinique one. Not enought cover to hide my weird stripes, guess I should have gone for theatrical makeup.
Weekend, Saturday, spent buing makeup, tomorrow, I have to do a bit of cleaning, and if I have time I’ll groom the dog.
Last TV show I binge-watched, Suits, I’m on season 3 now.
He wanted to play with it, but it’s on a shelf. He seems pretty impartial to it, though!

Last show I binged on was Sons of Anarchy… Just finished the series today…. 🙁
What kind of makeup studio is it?
I turned a spare room in the house into a studio so I have a place to do my makeup and my clients that wish to come to me!!! I am so excited It’s coming along great, and I get to put all my cosmetics in one place!!!
Can I order that Melan clone lol?
