Weekend plans: Work and new side walk work.
Who is or was your role model growing up?: I think my Mom as well, we are very diffrent poeple though and I wish I had more of her fight in me. 🙂
Whew!! Three highlighters in one go!
I’ve been idle with Becca… it was time! haha
But really never want to buy it because it was impossible to try out in person first, so thought I might as well order the 3. 😉
Haul: Bite Barberry lipstick
Weekend plans: my daughter’s due date is Saturday. Maybe have a grand daughter?
Role models: Two female physicians who did it all: children, med school, and outside talents that were exceptional.
How exciting!! Hope you get to meet your grand daughter soon!
Aww, I want to kiss his nose and rub his ears. Is that a beauty mark on his ear? So cute!
*Haul – Disney Dare to Dream Luminizer Stick in Free Spirit (gold shimmer/sheen) – Love! This $3 underdog is going toe to toe with my highlighters from Becca, Kevin Aucoin, and Colour Pop for my affections. It’s LE, so I bought a backup. Also works great as a base for powder blushes
*Weekend – shop for clothes, cook, get exercise!
*Role Model when I was growing up – My mom. She worked super hard at work and at home and raised 4 kids – I don’t know how she did it.
It is! 🙂 A little black dot on his ear.
How fun to find such a cheap gem!
Haul: Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Gilded Honey
Weekend plans: Family Beach Vacation!
Who is or was your role model growing up?: My mother…hands down. RIP Mom.
Gilded Honey! Yes!
haha I love the caption this week. I feel like Mellan would add a wink to that.
sooo Ulta sent me a 20% off coupon. I’m running low on skincare, so I decided to try out some new thing and stock up on others.

Haul: Biore Face Cleanser, Zoya Polish in Giovanna, China Glaze Polish in black, Not You Mothers Sea Salt Spray. Ulta coupon ftw 🙂
Weekend plans: Marilyn Manson concert tonight! otherwise, just relaxing!
Who is or was your role model growing up? I never had a specific role model, per say. I was influenced by a lot of people, like, certain traits about people I aspired to, not everything about one person.
Have fun at the concert, Kate 😀
Enjoy the concert! I saw Manson a number of years ago at OzzFest. Manson was the best act at the Fest!
the concert was amazing.. Manson killed it! very good live and can keep a good concert going
WHAT A HANDSOME FELLER!!
Haul: Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue in 06 Ginger, Sephora Crème Lip Stain in 01, NYX Matte Lipstick in Natural and Whipped Caviar, NYX Lip Pencils in Natural and Mauve, NYX Butter Gloss in Angel Food Cake, NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Iced Mocha.
Weekend plans: Going with some girlfriends to Charleston for the weekend. It is supposed to rain but I can’t complain. I am more excited about the food than anything else!
Who is or was your role model growing up?: Yup, mom. Definition of a strong woman.
Great haul, Olivia! What lip product are you digging the most so far?
I never buy this much makeup at once but I went to Ulta and never saw the NYX section SO STOCKED so I couldn’t help myself. My favorite out of the lip products that I got is definitely the NYX Matte Lipstick in Natural. PERFECT mauvey rosy nude color. Not a MLBB but close. I also love the Sephora Lip Crème Stain. I went to Sephora, swatched it on my hand, ran to MAC, swatched Ruby Woo next to it, ran back to Sephora and bought the Lip Crème. I have been looking for a deep matte red and had my eye on Ruby Woo forever but Sephora definitely looked more velvety so I went with that. Did all this damage on my lunch break haha
LOL! An impressive lunch break haul ;D
Haul: Placed a new iHerb, Paula’s Choice and Manic Panic order. Let’s hope everything arrives soon!
Weekend plans: Celebrate the anniversary of our engagement tomorrow!
Who is or was your role model growing up?: Call me crazy, but I don’t think I ever really had a role model… I looked up to people, sure, but a true role model? No.
Happy anniversary!
Haul: Another of the Lise Watier 24 HRS Glam pencil-shadows, this in the shade Chic Glam and another bottle of the LE Dry Oil Spray from the same company (I got one a few weeks back and it knocks the life out of Nuxe Huile Prodigeuse and as it’s LE, I really wanted one more!)
Weekend plans: it’s a long weekend here in Ontario so we’re having a family reunion/get-together at the cottage. I have some food prep to do for that and I’m also hoping to get into the gym early tomorrow morning.
Role models growing up: my Auntie Rose (my mom’s “baby sister”) and my dad, who never, ever reneged on a promise.
Gah! LE skincare! WHYYY!
LW is one of the brands i really wish we had stateside. course, i nearly collapsed when sephora 86ed bourjois. guess my age is showing. i still cruise the LW dedicated website occasionally. good quality and price points.
Haul: Dior Majesty and Cosmopolite nail polishes, Estee Lauder Restless lipstick (yes, I caved on the Kendall Jenner shade!).
Weekend plans: Relaxing, seeing friends. It’s a long weekend here in Canada, woohoo!
Role model: I can’t really say there’s been one person that I’ve tried to model myself after. There have been various traits I’ve admired in different people that have come in and out of my life.
How are you liking the Dior polishes?
Haul: Kat Von D Everlasting Lipstick in Double Dare,Santa Sangre ,Kat Von D Metal Crush Eyeshadow in Thasher ,Laura Geller Baked Gelato blush in Papaya
Weekend plan: BBQ party at my parent’s house!
Who is or was your role model growing up?: my parent!
Woohoo! Lots of goodies in that haul 😀
Haul: Charlotte Tilbury X Norman Parkinson collection stuff arrived. I got the cream Filmstar bronze and glow, the cream bush/lip,highlighter, the on-call bag, and the two LE lipsticks. Miss Kennsington was defective apparently ( on the CT end) so Beautylish actually credited my account and resent a second tube which turned out defective as well. The bullet is loose from the actual holder. So, heads up to anyone looking to order that. I would wait until that is resolved. My Nars fall order hasn’t arrived-I’m a bit concerned as I placed the order by phone from a counter. I’m waiting for a call back on that.
I ordered Laura Gellar’s Plumberry baked gelato blush and Gilded Honey highlighter last night.
Weekend Plans: I have a 20% Ulta coupon I am going to try to take advantage of- Probably a few UD matte lipsticks and shampoo and conditioner. Also , need to exchange some things at Nordstrom that I ordered online before the sale ends. May get a few last minute things. I have never owned a designer purse or sunglasses-So, those 2 items are on my scope out list. 🙂 Also, house needs straightening up and laundry!
My role model growing up: My older sister taught me the ropes no doubt . She shaved my legs at 11 and told me I wasn’t bleeding to death when “my monthly friend” came around! lol.
Happy Weekend all!
Thanks for the info on the lipstick, Nicole! I had the same issue, but I thought it had just maybe melted or something (or I knocked it loose). What a bummer – good to hear Beautylish credited everyone for it!
No problem Christine. Plus, just in case, they sent out second tubes on the house. My second is the same as the first though. I called and reported the issue with the second tube just so they would know. The Customer service agent said they were waiting to hear back still. But, She was sure the problem would be corrected Beautylish would be shipping free tubes to everyone who ordered and received a defective tube for free! I was quite impressed with their Customer service on this! 🙂
That is really amazing customer service!!
♥ Haul:
Hmmm. I thought I had bought less this week, but after listing all the makeup, I guess I wasn’t as good as I thought. Lol.
• Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder in #01
• Givenchy Croisière Terre Exotique in #2 Douce Croisière
• Givenchy Le Prismissime Sun Visage Mat & Glow in 73 Sun Caramel
• MAC eyeshadow in Charcoal Brown
• MAC Pro blush in Devil
• MAC eyebrow pencil in Spiked
• Missha Signature Glam Art Rouge lipstick in SPK102
♥ Weekend plans:
• Relax, relax, relax. This New England heat has been a bit strong the past few days, so my fan(s) and I are going to become well acquainted this weekend. 🙂 Ohh! And take some pictures of tonight’s rare Blue Moon (if my camera decides to behave).
♥ Who is or was your role model growing up?
• My aunt. She was probably the smartest person I had known (or still know). She taught herself to do many things: draw, play the piano, American sign language, play the guitar, etc. The list keeps growing year after year. I often wondered if she was a genius. She continuously chased after expanding one’s mind, and I completely admired her for that. I haven’t seen her in a while, but I do know that she recently attained her doctorate in Education. She is the single-handed reason why I love dabbling in a bit of everything and love learning. My aunt has no idea how much I idolize her and just how she has shaped me into who I am today. She’s my heroine from afar.
How do you like the Givenchy products?
The Croisière Terre Exotique is different than what I was expecting. I thought it would be completely powder, but it’s more like a cream-powder blend. If that makes any sense. It doesn’t feel the same like the MAC Extra Dimension powders or the Estée Lauder Gelées. It feels a touch different to me. I’m going to have fun experimenting with it to see what’s the best way to use it.
The Mat & Glow is beautiful! It’s a lovely natural-tone highlighter. The powder is buttery soft. I think one of the best part is that I can also use it as an eyeshadow.
Nars Madly blush, Smashbox Honey liopstick.
Relax this weekend and see a movie with the hubby.
My mother.
xoxo for the handsome Mellan from me and the boys. Have a great weekend Christine.
Madly! What a classic.
Haul: I just purchased a bunch of Colourpop stuff because everyone’s raving about it and I can’t take it anymore. Of course they don’t ship to my country, but I got a MyUS account and apparently they’ll ship my order to me. I hope it works.
Weekend plans: uh, cleaning, writing, and drawing. The usual thing.
Role model: no idea. Does Oscar Wilde count?
Fingers crossed you get your ColourPop! 🙂
Haul : mascara and moisturizer. Boring, I know.
Plans: idk maybe a movie, maybe a visit to the lakefront
Role model : my mom and the grandmothers
Essentials! Not boring!
Haul: Kat Von D liquid lipstick in Bauhau5. It’s FINALLY came back in stock at Sephora!
Weekends plans: Working through the long weekend.
Role model: None.
YAYYYYY!
Haul: .Nyx Shine Killer; Nyx Round Case Lipstick in Tearose, Thalia, Strawberry Milk, Stella and Opal (apparently, this one’s been DC’d); Physician’s Formula Powder Palette Mineral Glow Pearls in Translucent Pearl.
Weekend plans: Nothing exciting planned.
Who is or was your role model growing up? I didn’t have any positive role models growing up.
Have you had a chance to try the Glow Pearls yet?
Yes, I wore it yesteday. The super-frosty stuff is just a thin overspray, so once that’s brushed off, the powder is fine for all over the face. (Unless one likes that kind of thing really subtle.) It’s more shimmery than Meteorites, for example: Definitely more highlighter-like. It set my makeup well, too, and was average for oil control on me (about 4 hours before I had to blot, but not bad for 105° F weather). I think the Translucent Beige is perfect for really fair skin. It just luminizes the skin without adding color. I liked it.
Ooh, sounds like a pretty good product 🙂
Haul: Besame brightening violet powder, Urban Decay Bad Blood deluxe mini, Formula X Tornado nail polish. Crescent Moon necklace from Osteal.
Weekend Plans: Today: fishing, some housework. Tomorrow: husband’s work picnic at the Museum of Science & Industry. Sunday, hanging the gallery artist’s show at Tall Grass.
Role Model: My parents mostly. Also badass female musicians like Joan Jett, Debbie Harry, and Cyndi Lauper.
Tornado! I need to go google to see what that looks like!
Haul: Oh this is going to be a big one! A lot of this stuff has been ordered over the past few weeks and just came in this week, which is why last week’s haul was smaller. I got a Makeup Geek order (Homecoming, Twilight, Prom Night, Last Dance, and Country Girl eyeshadows), and I’ve been wearing Homecoming and Country Girl every day since I got them! Kat Von D liquid lipsticks in Double Dare and Beloved. NARS tinted moisturizer in Finland, MUFE redness correcting primer (I’ve tried a lot of green primers and this is the only one I’ve found that actually works, and continues working all day), the Lush Magnanaminty face mask, and the Ted Baker “Midnight Bloom” cosmetics bag (using it as a little purse)
Weekend Plans: Work on Saturday, and going into the city on Sunday as usual. Nothing too special!
Role Model: In the past year or so, my mom. She’s pretty awesome, she’s always optimistic and looking on the bright side of things, no matter how crappy things are. I’ve also always been a huge fan of the 19th century scientist Nikola Tesla’s creativity and enthusiasm. He was often overshadowed by Thomas Edison, who was simply a better businessman than him, but he never lost his passion. His life taught me that even if you aren’t recognized for it, your hard work is always valuable and always worth the effort.
Oooh! You did get the Ted Baker cosmetics bag. Hope you like it 🙂
Haul:
Lancome Shine Lover Lipstick 212
Dr. Bronner Lavender Pure-Castile Soap for Makeup Brushes (it is a 2 oz travel size that was on sale for $1.79 at Target)
IT Cosmetics CC Cream (I have to exchange this because Ulta sent me a Medium when I ordered Fair — every time I order from them, they either send the wrong item or something comes damaged)
Weekend: Relax! I just finished my last summer class and my internship.
Role Model: I never had a role model per say, but I have always admired strong, intelligent women like Hilary Clinton.
Love Dr. Bronner for makeup brushes!
I got some Diptyque candles off of the Hautelook sale they had, though those won’t come in for a while. I also ordered a necklace and a ring from BaubleBar as they have a 30% off sale right now (with code “XMASINJULY”)
Oh also, no weekend plans except surviving this awful heatwave in the PNW. Role model-wise, I didn’t really have many. I had a lot of anti-role models that were great examples of who NOT to be like. I had a really great professor while I did community college for the first two years of uni to save money. We still keep in touch and she was the inspiration for some of the work I want to do. She’s also a perfect example of who I want to be when I grow up- great fulfilling job, always has fantastic shoes, season tickets to her favorite sport, spends her entire summer in Florence every year, hosts killer dinner parties, etc.
Nice! Discount Diptyque, yay!!
I was so excited! I saw that it would be up on Hautelook but woke up quite late (they go live at 8 am PST) so didn’t get the best pick but it’s basically the only way I’ll ever be able to buy Diptyque so I’m thanking my lucky stars!
Too cute. Such a sweet face
Thank you!
Haul: Used a 20% off coupon and got Amazing Cosmetics Line Primer, a large Essie Many Many Mani hand creme (love it), a satin pillowcase, soft nail buffer, styling comb, and Olivia Garden brush from Ulta. MAC nail polish in French Tipped and Doll Me Up from Bloomingdales. Boots No. 7 Intense Advanced serum and Boots Organics body butter in brazil nut from Walgreens. Bobbi Brown Eye Shadow Palette – Day To Night, Bobbi Brown Lash Glamour Mascara – Plum, NARS Duo Eye Shadow – Bateau Ivre, UD 24/7 Velvet Glide on Eye Pencil – Minx, Smashbox Photo Op Eye Shadow Trio – Autochrome, UD Eye Shadow – Minx, UD Eye Shadow – Shattered, UD Eye Shadow – Gunmetal, UD Eye Shadow – Ecstasy, UD Travel Size 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencils – Junkie and Ransom, DIOR Vernis Nail Lacquer – 887 Purple Mix from ACW Cosmetics. I went a little mad on Beauty.com bc I had a good coupon and I ordered 4 Smashbox trio eyeshadows (skybox, Shutterspeed, Cover shoot, Megapixel) but I got free: Fashion Fair eye shadow quad, UD mascara, and a Trina Turk tote filled with samples and a $10 off gift card. I also got Living Proof nightcap from Sephora.
Weekend plans: I started my weekend early by taking today off work (yay). Had a nice lunch at Applebee’s with my daughter and did some shopping at TJ Maxx. Not sure what I’m going to get into the rest of the weekend – it’s brutally hot and humid here!
Who is or was your role model growing up?: My Dad
Has Mellan been watching Wendy? Such a cutie!
Nice! Happy to hear you were able to take advantage of ULTA’s coupon! 🙂 What are you most excited for, Michele?
Wow – hard to say – like picking a favorite child! I was anxious to try the NARS shadow duo (which I did yesterday). I had never used a NARS shadow before (amazing right?) and I loved them! Honestly, since I’m a deal-kind-of-gal, I think I was really most excited about getting my entire ACW order for only $100! Yes, 12 name brand cosmetic items plus I also got 2 optical cleaning cloths for only $100. YAY!
Haul: Benefit It’s Potent Eye Cream
Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip
Essie Good to Go top coat and No More Film polish
Tarte Amazonian Clay Matte Bronzer Park Avenue Princess
Maybelline Unstoppable eye liner in Sapphire
Weekend Plans: perform in a local art festival

Any favorites from the Give Me Some Lip set?
I am loving the Buxom Full-On Lip Creme
Haul: Fresh Seaberry Face Oil and Caudalie Beauty Elixir.
Weekend plans: Library with the kids, grocery store and most likely a lot of relaxing. Just getting over being sick so all I want to do is be a sloth!
Who is or was your role model growing up?: Growing up, my great aunt. She was a wild, wild woman. Now? My father and step-mother. For a lot of reasons.
Happy you’re feeling better, Mar!
Haul: Dior Addict Fluid Shadows in Aurora and Destinée, Benefit’s Ooh La Lift and Perk Up Artist, MUFE foundation, UD’s After Dark lipstick, KVD Metal Crush in Raw Power, and the ASBH World Traveler palette. The Fluid Shadows and Ooh La Lift are going back.
Weekend plans: An Ulta store is having it’s grand opening in SLO so there’s a 15% chance I’ll go and check it out over the weekend. I’m so exhausted right now, though, that I can’t even imagine leaving the house… not even for makeup! It’s probably going to be really crowded so waiting until mid-week might be better anyway.
Who is or was your role model growing up?: As a child, it was my sweet, gentle, wonderful grandfather. (I will always miss him.) As a teen, my clothing choices were heavily influenced by Prince and Madonna, my creativity with clothing was influenced by Andi (Molly Ringwald) in Pretty In Pink, and my poetry was influenced by Sting. For the past eighteen years, my husband has been my role model. He is the kindest, most thoughtful and compassionate person I have ever met. He’s the kind of person that others enjoy being around because he truly cares about what is going on in their life. In many ways, he reminds me of my grandfather.
Oh no! The Fluid Shadows are bad? 🙁
Hmmm, I think one’s opinion of them depends on a few things. My review would be…
Dior Addict Fluid Shadows are highly pigmented, long-lasting, liquid eyeshadows. The brush applicator, that reminded me of the brush in the Milani 3D Glitzy Glamour Gloss, takes a little practice to get used to. However, by trial and error, you can eventually figure out how to best apply a smooth, beautiful layer of metallic perfection.
The problem arises if you try to blend out the shadow, as that’s nearly impossible. You need to apply this shadow to one lid at a time and keep your eye closed until the shadow dries or it can become patchy. If you’re in a hurry, these would be a bit too time consuming. Also, once these dry down, every single fine line on your eyelid will be greatly enhanced, even when used over a primer or over another eyeshadow. These weren’t made for more mature lids!
Most important to note, the shade Destinée will stain your skin. Yes, even over primer or another shadow. It may not be as obvious on darker skin tones but, on fair-skinned individuals such as myself, it was definitely noticeable. I’m curious to know if the purple one in the collection also has a staining problem.
If you’re younger (or older and don’t mind the look of fine lines), have the time necessary to apply these, and want a gorgeous, metallic shadow that will last for hours, this might be for you.
(But… the color of that red… SO GORGEOUS!)
Haul (this is more than one week!): Tom Ford Love Lust blush
YSL Kiss n Blush in 13 Corail Incandescent
NARS eyeshadows in Pasiphae and Telesto
L’Oreal Magic Lumi Primer
NYX Skinny Mascara
NYX Concealer Palette
NARS Malacca eyeshadow
NARS Outlaw and Tribulation blushes
NARS Velvet Shadow Stick in Glenan
Becca Blush in Lantana
Weekend plans: Saw the new Mission Impossible movie tonight (it was really good!). Tomorrow volunteering at the Humane Society, Zumba class…oh, and straightening up the house.
Who is or was your role model growing up? My brothers
Very nice haul, Pteetsa! Lots of new NARS goodies there!
Oh my, his actually DOES go with that caption! Hilarious!!!
Haul: Okeee, so I had my 10% Sephora VIB renewal coupon…so what did I do? I took a weird plunge that I was going to wait until the November 20%, and bought the UD Naked Smoky, not sure what I was thinking! Also another bottle of Tarte Maracuja Oil, and they gave me some cool samples thrown in. I tried (again!) to nab UD 1993 Matte Revolution lipstick, but still not at that Sephora! At Ulta, more Hada Labo Skin Plumping Gel Cream, Nyx High Voltage lipstick in Rags To Riches, Nyx Waterproof lipliner in Natural. And at Walgreen’s WnW Reserve Your Cabana and Sinful Gel-Tech nail polish in Prosecco.
Weekend plans: Major-league heavy household cleaning because our apt. complex is having its yearly mandatory inspection. Yeesh!!! After I get most of it done, I may go to MAC and Sephora up the street to choose between MAC Whirl or Persistence or UD 1993 (LOVE that name 1993! Wahoo!) Also, of course, *somehow* do the rest of my usual weekend ritual! Haha!
Who was your role-model growing up: My Mom had a profound distaste for unfairness or injustice that she most definitely inculcated into me while growing up. She taught me about things that back then, most white women from the Midwest weren’t usually known to discuss; the US history of slavery, the cruelty and segregation therein and afterwards, the Holocaust in Nazi Germany and it’s territories, the US Holocaust of Native Americans, the Khmer Rouge Holocaust, etc. She was progressive and ahead of her time. And considering she was already 34 y.o. when she and my Dad adopted me in 1959? Very!
Oh, and she also taught me to love red lipstick!
Keep me posted on how you like Naked Smoky! I’ll be curious to hear your thoughts 🙂
Your mom sounds amazing!
I will! If I can even work up the nerve to use it considering it may be a bust. Just realized reading thru others comments that I forgot about Nars Pasiphae, and other better goodies.
I lost her 8 years ago. Still miss her terribly, especially lately. ?
Today, I finally got to use my Naked Smoky Palette. It’s not terrible, or even so-so, but it is not as great as either my Lorac Pro Palette or my UD Naked 2. The satins and shimmers are wonderful, but the mattes are just dusty ( except Combust) and Password is just a weird shade.
This probably won’t make it past screening because I’m so late to the game, but the very first thing I thought when I saw that picture of Mellan was, “How YOU doin’?” even before I saw your caption! Great minds think alike 🙂
😀
Haul S instore: S overcast palette, Barberry (Verrry nice,) Buxom ShangriLaLa blush, Sephora over the moon (odd highlighter, i guess…i layered it w/ the buxom + MUG secret admirer w/ overall good effect, despite the lighter two not really showing up with summer skin.) Then had to GO BACK, when I had not spied the gel matte liners. Got Fox and Steel. So many recent looks could have used Fox. And Steel is a lovely, balanced ardoise shade. (slate: it sounds so much better in french.) One MAJOR disappointment, which means a return Sephora trip: FAB reformulated the triple duty eye remedy, OMG for the worse. The color does not in the least resemble the orig. I had just tossed the old tube, so i’m bringing both back to show ’em. i scathed it (FAB not Sephora) on the review. Now i have to change my review on Paula’s Choice, too. It was very close to HG status + used every day. BOO!
Ulta coupon (can’t resist a sale…) 2 Z double sides + one plain large. A blush from Catrice + MU Revolution, to try them, + a couple of other try-out products from Germany + London. I hope U has enough success with these lines, that they become permanent + in-store. You really cannot trust the online photos for true color representation.
Usual summer w/e, though taking a week off from night job, starting Sun. Dog walking in the woods, try to hit the beach, or at least get in the water, read, On the cool day, got out far too many clothes storage boxes, so should put all that away. Donation time! really should start online courses for recert, but with this past winter, i get outside whenever i can.
Role Model: Wow. I grew up in the 50s. I never knew any women who worked, except as volunteers. The expectation was to finish college (unless a better young prospect came along…) then do junior league or something, until you got your MRS degree. Never got that one, but did wind up getting 3 master’s + working heavily. Often, on a Friday, i will think how i believed that Friday afternoons would be symphony…but reality means a professional job by day + a minimum wage job by night. No fine BSO there! And I’m retirement age. Believe it or not, until my dad died young, it never even occurred to me that i would need/have a career. They may not have been role models, but i thank my parents for giving me the resilience, stamina, and survival skills I have needed in the decades since they passed. My dad passed this day in 1971. I think I’ll spend a few hours revisiting what he meant to me. Getting weepy; gotta go.
Barberry is truly a good one! Glad you were able to snag it.
So you’re saying I need to get Steel, eh? I was trying to resist the other ones…
Well, if you wind up getting it (don’t see it as a must for you) you can BYA I’ll go whole hog on the S green liners i don’t have yet. S does, to be cliched, a mean green. Some cool/coolish folks who are blue eyed have a mandate for slate. That’s who actually NEEDS it. But that FOX, looked superb on you in the more recent look.
Haul. Since I last reported UD have finally come to a store quite close to me, so I had to go in and check, just to get a Perversion liner. I did, and somethings screamed to me, so I had to take them home. I got: Perversion Eye Pencil and mascara, lipsticks in Venom ans F-bomb, eyeshadows in Cosmic, Flash and Dive Bar. I also got a sample of their foundation in a neutral light shade. I quite like it.
I don’t think I’ve reported MAC eyeshadow in She Sparkles. I guess I feel very shimmery 🙂
Weekend plans, nothing decided, just as well as the dog has an upset tummy, and need a bit of looking after. Not giving any details. I mean, you really don’t want to know. 🙂
Role models, loads of old Movie stars, I liked, and still like classic Hollywood. Rita Hayworth, Vivien Leigh, Olivia de Havilland, Carole Lombard, Ingrid Bergman to mention a few.
Also my grandmother (maternal), always polite, considerate and kind. She made the best food and always had time for me. And strange it may seem, as this is a makeup community, my grandfather (maternal) My grandparents took me in when my mother couldn’t or wouldn’t take care of me. My grandparents were the best!
I feel a bit sad and strange not being able to say my mother as so many have done that. You should always be happy you have greaat mothers!
Mellan is gorgeous, as always!
