Fabulous haul, Pteetsa! So many great things on that list. How awesome is it that Giorgio Armani is now at Sephora?
Always so refreshing to see a cute puppy dog! Mine is lounging on the couch like she owns the place!
Haul: My Becca luminizer collection is complete!- Pearl in poured, Topaz in pressed and liquid, Rose gold in liquid. Guerlain Rouge G -Gracia, Mac Petite red, and Rebel (I know I’m years late on that), Nars Barbara, Burberry Earthy blush,Armani eye tints in emeraude, green iron,Shadow, and Gold ashes,Tom ford indian Rose. Drugstore.com had a 20% off sitewide so I ordered 4 shades of the Sally Hansen Gel polish and Milani eyeshadows in purple, gold, pink(not sure if those are the exact names) and I found Milani Luminoso on there too for like $4.50! Other good drugstore buys I happened upon at Ulta last weekend :Maybelline Hot Plum and Fuschia Flash. I caved and bought the Tom ford liquid eyeliner pen finally after talking to a SA at Nordstrom who was wearing it. it just came yesterday.I am so stupid with liquid eyeliner that I pretty much have given up. she swore this would redeem me. We will see. At $55, if it doesn’t hold to that claim,it goes back! Oh, and Supergoop! mineral sunblock!
I know that is a ton of stuff and I am professing my self to a low-buy for at least 3-4 weeks now! I am saving for the upcoming summer launches(mainly Tom Ford)new skin care as the weather changes , and the 20% sales at sephora and Ulta ! I need to be stronger! I am only going to buy LE that are things that I think are super and mascara .On mascara, I am trying to use up samples until Nordstrom does the mascara madness (which I heard is in May) and skin care when I need it, which hopefully I can get by and use up what I have before it gets hot here. I probably unfortunately have a month more of chilly, rainy weather. And sunblock. But I consider that essential.:)
Weekend plans: Girl scout cookie stuff with my daughter and chores!
my favorite subject in school: Sciences;Biology/chemistry/anatomy
I KNEW IT! I knew you’d get Pearl! Well, hopefully you love it ;D
And I’m really, really happy you loved the Rouge Gs. Just makes me so relieved and happy, lol!
The TF liquid eyeliner is amazing – it is really, really good. Stupid expensive, but it is really good. Keep me posted on how it works out!
LOL..I told you you know me too well through a computer already! I am like you ..but old! I have not worn it yet. But, I do have it out to make sure I try it soon!
Ahh..Rouge G’s- I do love them and I cannot than you enough for the suggestion. Really, There is not a single product that you have recommended that I do not love. That is why I ask still all the time. I love Rouge G’s so much, I plan to collect them all. I think it is a formula that I could wear into old age! lol.. I love Tom Ford Indian Rose too and I got one of the Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Lipsticks (the one you suggested in the corals list)..now I want more of those too! lol..geez lipsticks are one of those things. it seems like you can never have enough because they are just slightly different.
The TF liner..It is waiting for me to try it too..Yes. STUPID EXPENSIVE! That is a good way to describe it. But, I have always oogled at the gorgeous winged liquid eyes and I am just stupid with it and get so frustrated. So, If it cures me of that, I will pay for it if the pen doesn’t dry too quick! I will keep you posted!
Hope you get time to enjoy your weekend ! 😉
Have a great weekend, Nicole! Hope you have time to play with all your new goodies 🙂

Weekend plans: I have an appointment at the dentist… blegh. And I’m cutting my hair, so I’m probably going to do something crazy to it.
Favorite subject: Writing, definitely! I still enjoy writing fiction to unwind.
Very lovely birthday haul, Estefania! 🙂 I can’t believe your boyfriend found Delicatesse!
What kind of crazy hair antics are you mulling over?
I can’t believe it either, tbh. He just said he looked on eBay (he’s an absolute sweetheart).
I’m still considering bleaching it to a platinum blonde, but for now I want to really shave down the sides and go for a Maklemore cut. If I were really brave, I’d get something like Cressida’s hair in The Hunger Games (my dream hair).
Be brave 😀 For the rest of us (e.g. me) who can barely cut their length off at all, lol.
Haul:
Le métier de beaute eyeshadow single in Corinthian (highly recommend)
Burberry wet and dry silk eyeshadow single in pale barley( I ordered the original sheer formula but the store I ordered from sent me the new version instead)
First time I’ve ever bought eyeshadow singles. These actually feel worth it.
Weekend Plans: unsure, exercise, maybe see a friend, clean
What was your favourite subject in school: creative writing
Have a great weekend, Bronwyn!
LMdB has such a great eyeshadow formula – really wish they were more accessible!
Haul: Too Faced Melted Nude and Perfect Lips Nude Pencil, Bosica Tsubaki Gel Oil, and MAC Pink Rebel Lustre Drops.
Weekend plans: Clean the house to prep for family coming to visit for a couple of weeks.
What was your favorite subject in school?: Science! Funnily enough, I wasn’t the biggest fan of English in school, but joined the Navy as a journalist.
I’ve always wanted to try the Boscia oil!
It’s so good! Definitely Holy Grail for me. The Boscia hydrating mask is great, too. 🙂
Haul: Sephora Mild to Wild Khaki eye shadow palette, Sephora contour eye pencil in Flirting Game, Buxom Love Dolly lipstick mini.
Weekend Plans: Yard work.
What was your favorite subject in school? Maths.
FLIRTING GAME AND DOLLY. YES!
I think Flirting Game will pair nicely with the KvD Innerstellar palette.
One of my fave palettes ! So sad they are discontinuing, I bought a backup
I know! I have a couple of their 5-pan “colorful” palettes (both old and new) and this is my fav so I /had to/ buy a backup! They’re so great for travel.
Haul: Nada. In the homestretch of my no-buy!
Weekend plans: Housecleaning, then a day of (window) shopping and lunch with my niece.
Favorite subjects: English and European History
Congrats on getting to the home stretch of your no-buy!
Haul: Nothing! But I missed out on the MAC x Julia Petit Linda blush & Boca lipstick online yesterday, I’m upset! I’ll be near a counter in 2 weeks but I’m not sure I’ll make it 🙁
Weekend plans: My rec league women’s basketball team is going bowling tonight! 😛
What was your favorite subject in school?: French & English – any kind of writing!
I hope you can find it at a counter 🙂
Haul: Nothing this week. I made a medium sized order on Colourpop–eyeshadows and lippies–but I don’t like to count online orders before they show up in my mail box. 🙂
Weekend plans: a little writing and some errands, but I’m guessing we’ll spend most of the weekend playing with the new PS4.
Favorite subject in school: It was always a tossup between History and English.
Mellan looks like he’s trying to pretend that cute Easter baskets are beneath his dignity.
Haha! I don’t count online orders until they arrive either 😉
Haul: Shiseido powder, Clinique skin care and Fructis hair care
Weekend plans: Getting some work for the blog done and then hitting the town with my fiancé
What was your favorite subject in school?: English and German
Have fun with your fiance!
Haul: Two Kiko eyeshadow quads (one for me, one for DD), 2 probably overpriced Elemis body products (I was on a cruise and gave into temptation after a pedicure)
Weekend plans: yoga tonight, resting up and getting back into the swing of things at home
What was your favorite subject in school?: in high school, probably French and languages generally (I was one of those odd-balls who took Latin all the way through). In university, Old English – I had an amazing prof and I just LOVED the language and the history of the time and the subjects of the poems – battles, abandonment, being “ham strung” (such jolly stuff).
Hope you had a fantastic holiday, Mariella (pretty much sound slike you did, though!). 🙂
Haul: Nada, still sick.
Weekend plans: Hopefully leaving the house to shop and possibly eat out. I’m at the point where I’m not coughing so much I can’t eat in public.
Favorite subject: Anything science related.
Feel better, Erin!!
How cute is Mellan? And he knows it;)
Haul from the past few weeks: Burberry Glow eyeshadow in Shell (already have Nude), Lancome Miracle Cushion foundation (new in Europe, fresh, natural-looking with buildable coverage), Maybelline Brow Drama in Medium Brown and Clinique Turnaround serum (great exfoliant). Oh, and I’m waiting for my Sephora order with Marc Jacobs (Luna)tic Highliner, Supergoop! lip balm, Tarte under eye corrector, Nudestix Blur pencil and NARS birthday gift.
By the way, I’d love to try Bye Bye Undereye from IT Cosmetics, but I can’t find a website that ships to Europe. Does anyone know of a site that does?
Weekend plans: recovering from the flu, hopefully going back to work on Monday:)
Favorite subject in school: writing, languages
It’ll be interesting to see how the cushion craze plays out!
Haul: Laura Mercier Caviar stick in Sand Glow, Nars Drahin Girl and St. Paul-de-Vence duo
Weekend plans: Lesson Planning
What was your favorite subject in school?: English and History
Sand Glow sounds really pretty!
Haul: Ardency Inn eye shadow in Heaven (I’m planning on getting Hell to go with it, but Hell was out of stock at the Sephora where I was), Sephora eye pencils in Blonde Ambition and Roof Top Party, the Smashbox undereye primer and Trish McEvoy’s Line Refiner (age!), First Aid Beauty Ultra Face Moisturizer (repurchase), Bliss Konjac Sponge (like!), and Sephora’s new, curved eyelash comb. Oh, my, I have been spending the $$$ lately. A little scary!
Weekend plans: I have to work tomorrow — put off some of today’s work due to the crazy snowstorm we’re having here today when a co-worker arrived from where I had to go to with a look of desperation in her eyes after an hour on the road to travel a few miles. Going to try baking a lemon-poppyseed pound cake and begin de-cluttering my bedroom/office, which is jam-packed with stuff. I am considering promising myself a major reward when I accomplish all the paperwork and de-cluttering that I keep putting off. Keeping the big reward in mind might curb some of the weekly spending as well as helping me to get myself in gear and focused. And of course relax a little, too!
Favorite subject in school: It would change over time and according to the enthusiasm and expertise of the teacher. In a way I’m fortunate, I can get interested in lots of different things and am almost never bored. The downside is that I often get distracted by a new interest before I develop real expertise!
Isn’t Heaven… heavenly? 😉
I just got Sephora’s version of the Konjac sponge as well as Boscia’s a few weeks ago!
Sephora now has a konjac sponge??? I have the 2 original Boscia ones (white and black) and before I went away, found that Quo (Shoppers Drug Mart house brand) came out with their own for $5 bucks or so (bought it during a bonus points event, which is even better). This thing is exactly the same as the Boscia one, though flatter in shape. The Boscia ones are almost $20 each here vs $5 for Quo! I can’t believe how good it is and for such a huge saving so it’s “so long, Boscia” for me! Oooh – I just checked Sephora’s site and saw these. Which ones did everyone get (they seem to have 3 or 4 “sets”, each different and some with 2 different coloured sponges)???
I bought Boscia’s (thinking it was one of the originals so I could then compare to…) and Sephora’s Keep Calm sponge duo! I haven’t tried Sephora’s yet, but they appeared smaller (dry) compared to the Boscia.
Yes, Heaven is heavenly! It works well with the cooler shades in the LORAC Unzipped Gold palette, too! I should try Sephora’s konjac sponge — I like a lot of their products.
Oh, that picture brings back memories of when my precious Terry decided to turn my Easter basket and teddy bear into backyard confetti. Oh, how mad and amused I was that day. LOL! Such a cute picture!
Haul: MAC Cosmetics Lipsticks basically. 3 Petite Reds, a Viva Glam Miley, a Viva Glam Rihanna #1, and 2 Lust Extracts. Lord in heavens, if only I could tell you all how hard it was to get Petite Red, let alone 3 of them! Whew!
Weekend Plans: Praying…that I don’t go after even more lipsticks… 😛 I’m also hoping that I get this job that I was interviewed for. If I don’t, the hunt for a job shall continue.
Favorite School Subject?: It’s between Creative Writing and Art as I adore both of them and I’m pretty good at both, more so with creative writing currently.
LOL! I bet it is funnier NOW than it was then though 😉
My favorite subject in school? Hmm…world history? Art?
What did you like about world history?
Who is this handsome fellow?! Please give him a Happy Easter kiss for me!
Will do! ;D
Haul: Too Faced Sugar Pop palette; UD 24/7 lipliner in Bang, Coastal Scents Revealed 3
Weekend plans: Moving my son
What was your favorite subject in school? English and Biology
Sugar POP! Have you had a chance to try it yet?
Not yet; just swatching. The pigmentation is really good. The violet is different from the one in the Candy Bar palette. The Sugar Pop version is bluer and darker; I like it better. I’m going to try it out tomorrow. I was not home most of the day yesterday, and I was too tired and busy for makeup today (gasp! lol).
Happy to hear the pigmentation seems good so far 😀
I played with it some today. Blackberry, the matte dusty plum, goes on a little patchy, but it blends out nicely so it doesn’t stay that way. Blue Raspberry is my favorite, and I wish they’d used it instead of Blueberry Swirl in the Semi-Sweet palette. The three base shades show up different colors on me. Peach Fuzz is considerably warmer than Rock Candy. Strawberry Ice is matte, so it might look chalky or ashy on darker skin. The texture on everything is nice and I didn’t have any fallout.
Thank you so much for the insight, Rachel 😀
Haul: MAC Julia Petit Linda Blush and Boca Lipstick. Here in Brazil we are so proud of her! MAC Tempting and Antiqued eyeshadows.
Weekend plans: Bed, bed, bed,
What was your favorite subject in school?: Writing too.
So glad you got your Julia Petit goodies! 🙂
