Haul: I got the Color Tattoo in Seashore Frosts in a swap as that shade never made it to Canada.

I picked up also World Famous Neutrals Most Glamorous Nudes Ever. Love the shadows HATE the cream eyeshadow and they still crease and disappear on me in a matter of hour. >_<

Weekend plans: Working on hot Wonderflex molding, thankfully I have air condition now!

Fiction or nonfiction books?: Fiction as well. 😉

Let use know how you like the Embryolisse’s Lait-Creme. I picked it up during IMATS 2010 but it just wasn't for me.

If you flip the photo Mellan doing the air-mutt. lol

I enjoyed a once a year haul this week and bought myself some hakuhodo brushes, the burberry mocha palette, burberry eyeshadow in almond, and burberry blushes in earthy and tangerine. I also ordered some polishes, looking forward to Chanel Rouge Noir, Lilis, and Taboo (and the topcoat); I also purchased two RBL polishes from the blogger 2.0 collection, Scrangie 2.0 and An Accidental Interloper but waiting for the polishes in the mail still.

Sasha Avatar

Thanks! I dithered a little on purchasing it but when Ji posted on FB that it was going to sell out that night I pulled the trigger.

Anne Avatar

Awww Mellan! He looks so full of joy here.

Mellan looks like he’s doing a darned good impersonation of a German Shepherd!

Fiction/Non fiction: Fiction always.

Oh gosh, Mellan is so doing the same pose my bf’s parents’ dog does. He naps like that on the couch.

Nicoco Chanel Avatar

Awww. That’s not so much of a problem with Bosco – his tail was docked sometime before they got him. I’m guessing he’s asking “pet my belly, pet my belly” when he rolls over most of the time, then?

Jessi Avatar

Mellan is adowabo.
Haul: clinique airbrush concealer and mac groundwork painpot (loving both.)
Weekend Plans: School work. :-/
Fiction or non-fiction: Fiction!

Aida Avatar

Haul: Guerlain Les Roses e/s quad (I love it!); Maybelline Master Drama LE Stormy Navy (pretty color, not really a navy, more of a medium blue with sparkles, but unfortunately I can’t wear it on my water line, it’s very irritating); Covergirl professional super thick lash mascara (I heard this was the drugstore version of Tarte’s LCL, but it did nothing for my lashes); L’Oreal Voluminous full definition (I was very impressed with the first tube I’ve used, I liked it better than LCL, but I’m not impressed with this second tube, the formula seems to be a lot drier); Jordana best lash extreme mascara (for $2.99, I can’t believe how good this mascara is); Essie Midnight Cami (gorgeous navy blue); China Glaze Up All Night (another beautiful navy, which is pretty much my latest color obsession).

Weekend plans: None… It’s been raining every day for the past week or better, so we can’t go hiking (a good part of our hike takes us up Stone Mountain, which is very slippery when wet)

Fiction or nonfiction books?: I read both, but I mostly enjoy non fiction book (I love biographies and astronomy/science books)

Precious Avatar

What a cutie pie! I’d definitely give him a doggie treat for that pose. 😀

Haul: Bobbi Brown Shimmer Blush in Flame; Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light; Laura Mercier Eye Colours in African Violet and Sherazade; L’Occitane Cherry Blossom Bath and Shower Gel; NARS Powder Blushes in Luster and Outlaw.

Weekend plans: A few close friends with their significant others and kids are coming over for lunch tomorrow. 🙂

Aww Mellan looks so smiley!!! Looove!

Christina Avatar

Christine, Mellan is so freakin cute!! I’m thinking of getting another puppy and your pics are making me want to even more!
Haul: I splurged big time this week. I had a bad week, fighting with my live-in boyfriend and thought I would treat myself. Dior nude tan bronzer in 003 cinnamon, Dior Airflash foundation in 200, Mac temperature rising bronzer in sun dipped, Benefit the Porefessional primer, and a couple of Lush bath bombs 🙂 Shopping therapy truly does work lol
Weekend plans: The shopping center by my house is having an outside concert BUT it is weather permitting and it has rained here literally every single day for like a month(and its not even just rain-its thunderstorms!). It is also supposed to thunderstorm every day for the next week 🙁 and no, I don’t live in Seattle so I don’t know what is going on with our weather here.
Fiction or non-fiction books: Both, but now that I really think about it…probably non-fiction. I really like true-crime books. But as far as fiction, I like Dean Koontz and John Grisham…

Haul: I got 6 of the new Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquers (aka Apocalips) and they are AMAZING!!! I wore Big Bang (red) for the 4th. I put it on at 10am and at midnight it was still going strong. I am so glad they finally brought them over to the US (and with an much larger shade range). I also got the Benefit 15hr stick primer. That is also a really good product. However, my first one was broken halfway down the stick and wouldn’t twist back down. I went to get a replacement and the second one was also broken! The third one was ok though.

Weekend Plans: Get some school work done! We have a geriatrics paper I need to finish and a rough draft for our service learning I need to get started on.

Fiction or non-fiction: Fiction all the way!

PS: I absolutely adore Embryolisse. I get it from a store in Perrysburg, Ohio. They do ship. The store is called Face Junkie.

Julia Avatar

I use it as a moisturizer, day and night (when I dont use the Korres Sleeping facial). You only need a little bit. It’s the only moisturizer I’ve found that doesn’t break me out or make my skin look super oily. In the morning I just make sure to really rub the product in. Apparently you can also use it to remove makeup, but I haven’t tried that.

I very rarely repurchase skin care products, but I’ve gone through about five of these. I just finished one today, actually. I stocked up the last time I went to visit friends from my undergrad and will do the same next time. It is also great for sensitive or irritated skin. I gave my sister a bottle when her acne medications were causing her skin to flake, and she is now hooked. Embryolisse Lait-Creme is just good all around.

Haul: MAC Illustrated Bag 1 By Indie 184 & Naked Deep Dark Pigment. Both arrived today. I am a little disappointed with the bag though and for $36 I should be in love!
